09 Oct 2005 - Berlin, Germany: Velodrom

Robbie's landmark live show at Berlin's fabulous Velodrome was an extra high-pressure performance, as it launched his Intensive Care album and was the first ever live broadcast to mobile phone users. Those who missed out on tickets for the Velodrome gig could still experience the spectacular performance via their handsets. This milestone, yet another first for Robbie, signalled the start of his relationship with T-Mobile and Sony Ericsson.

By pure coincidence, Robbie had chosen a pink scarf from his vast wardrobe for the evening's performance - the same colours as one of his new sponsor's logos. His choice of neckwear was criticised by the press for being too contrived, though a happy T-Mobile gladly received plenty of extra column inches for their brand and we're sure Robbie had a good chuckle too!
