11 Jul 1998 - Balado, nr Kinross, UK: T in The Park

Biggest regret ever. We had heard that rob was staying at the marriot in town, so we went down and sat in the bar. There he was sat at the table, less than 6 ft away, but we were young, stupid and too busy trying to look cool to say hello. Why oh why!!! He had looked over a few times, but there was alot of bad press at the time with all his carry on with the gallagher bros, and we were scared that if we pestered him he'd tell us to get lost. How young and stupid we were. We missed out big time. Later we ended up sitting chatting with Paul Weller and Noel Gallagher who couldn't have been any nicer. In fact, thinking about it it might have been 95/ 96 T in the Park, cos Rob wasn't playing, just up to see the show and Oasis were headlining. Still a stupid thing for us to do.x
