"OH JOY! I'M HOME…"

hey rob found this blog...which is by far one of my favourites! you know the feeling when you can't get your thoughts in any order...you're going through situations, decisions and emotions again and again...and your mind's not peaceful and you stroll along the house, the park..whatever...looking for some distraction just to give you a break.... that's what I virtually did right now..as it is dark, cold and rainy outside...I did the strolling through the digital world. I randomly clicked back a few pages as I found no new words from you which normally lift my spirits up....and I found this one -> and it all came back in a flash! this great great summer which seems so far now - but reading your words and sum it up made me hole again. because there was a summer where i was happy as could be, where nothing could take me down, where i was on top of the world and I wasn't there alone but shared it with so many great people...nothing, but nothing could have hurt me back than... and now - it all being a bit of a downside recently I know there will times like this again and to quote you my dear Mr. W. : ...through it all...I know that live won't break me!!!! thanks for the memories, thanks for the music, thanks for the giving and thanks for the taking or better receiving of the love and energy that was beaming out of me this past summer! thanks for sharing, thanks for being! you definetly left your mark in my world and pop history anyway! stay as you are - keep always being yourself even though it's not easy at times...keep loving and believing. be blessed...and be happy. The UK's loss is Americas gain :-( I can't wait to see you tour again. Progress was amazing but I love seeing you live. I was v emotional when you came on the stage at Wembley, June 30th. What a journey you went on to get there (and I'm not talking about South West Trains) it felt like you were home. Lots of love, always xxxx

My mum nearly died of a brain tumour about a year ago, the surgery was successful and when she got out of hospital our treat as a family was to come and see take that. your music brings comfort to millions of people around the world. You have a way of making people feel like your talking straight to them. You have amazing talent and in my opinion your one of the the best entertainers ever. I know you will probably never read this because your busy, but I hope you do... so I can tell you how truly amazing you are.

Time for Ayda and the dogies, my friend. Take time to chillax and recover properly. make sure you reconnect properly with her. I'm sure a whole lot of attention was taken by us and your tour. Have a fantastic wedding anniversary (it's nearly my hubby and my 1st anniversary too. Our 1st dance was Rule the World). I hate to say it, but maybe your mental/writer's blocks are down to the fact you're letting yourself be happy now? II always found my pain produced the most profound poetry. I got rid of that and I dried up. Wouldn't swap it for the world though. Much better to be loved. :-) xx

With the new "Ian Dury-look" you must write good lyrics for your new songs now! I have just collected your B-Sides and other rarities on YouTube. There is so much brilliant stuff on them with less compromisings that would make them interesting to do a life show with just that songs and bring them ALL out on collecting discs together, not only some of them on an expanded Best Of-Album. EMI also could have done a better job on the remastered CD's by adding a multichannel-version and higher quality audio formats. It's still boring to hear that old stuff sounding on official EMI-CD's in comparison to the presentation on Guy Chambers site. I am still hoping to see a next reunion of you with that Guy too...
