Robbie - San Siro stadium, Milan July 2006
Robbie on form as always. A fantastic night. I booked 4 tickets me and 3 girlfriends. We had an amazing weekend, Milan shopping topped by going to see Robbie. It was soooo hot being land locked. When we got to the stadium there was no where to sit, we moved along the rows, you couldn't even stop and stand as you were in front of people. We came back out and were told it was full. So - we were taken down to the pitch! It was fantastic, like another concert again and being right down in the thick of it. Bars behind us and toilets, no pushing and shoving and plenty of room to dance. What a view for Robbie though the stadium was amazing. When you looked back up the place was packed it was only one concert and from what I remember the tickets were the cheapest at only £35! Big mistake loads of Robbie fans they could have filled it more than one night. But the view. It was like a wall of people going up into the night. The usual stadium view, but then like a wall stuck on top and row upon row of more people going up into the night sky. Lots of lights and lighters on - it was amazing. After the best concert I have ever seen Robbie in (I'm a true fan he was my favorite in TT, and have always gone to his concerts during his single career too). We found a great club across the road with a magnigicent huge bronze horse. All open air sat chilling on the sofas looking up at the stars. Thinking thanks to Robbie I was there and had had a fantastic time. Cheers Rob! x
