Robbie Williams: Photographs by Hamish Brown
"Dad and Robbie. Short haircuts, freelance smiles, and both with the balls to ferry their dreams to grander ports." Baxter Dury
Music photographer Hamish Brown explores Robbie's remarkable early solo career, from the impromptu backstage photo session in 1997, which earned Brown exclusive access to Robbie on numerous occasions, through to the release of Robbie's second album, I've Been Expecting You.
From live performances and press sections to video shoots, magazine cover appearances and more, the book features iconic images and well-known portraits (including one now on display at The National Portrait Gallery's permanent collection), as well as backstage, behind-the-scenes and previously unpublished shots.
Through Robbie's involvement with the late Ian Dury and Ian's association with Cancer BACUP, the book was published to help raise money for the charity, with a donation of £1 per book sold.
