Documenting Robbie's early quest to break the States, It Ain't Half Hot Mum trails the ups and downs of Robbie's North American tour in 1999.

Featuring comments from EMI's A&R Exec Chris Briggs, US publicist Shelby Meade, and a host of other key figures, the film follows Robbie as he tours the US.

Making guest appearances on many a US TV favourite including the Late Late Show, and on radio networks across the country, It Ain't Half Hot Mum is a touching film that displays the raw emotion at the challenge of tackling an unpredictable new audience...

Starting in Robbie's flat in December 1999, he confides about his feelings of isolation, of not being well, and of his desire to escape Britain and explore the US.

Bursting with optimism, he sets out to crack the US market, full of zeal about his ability to make it. But will his enthusiasm last...?
