Hi Rob, so I'm guessing you don't see this but in the hopes you do I just wanted you to know.. My six best friends and I flew to Copenhagen for the July 16th show to celebrate our 30th's.. I flew from New York, the girls from Dublin and London.. Our first TT show since we were 13 in Dublin 1994 and we were planning it since the reunion was announced.. The girls even gave up their Dublin tickets to save for Copenhagen and to be able to see it all together.. Of course we had a fab time being together but finding out the show was cancelled as we hailed a taxi to the stadium was a big blow and put a seriously damper on the wkend.. Totally understand that you was sick BUT I'm sure all the fans would have really appreciated if the rest of the band could have done something for the fans that night.. Played a couple of songs as a 4/came out and spoke to the fans, maybe you made an appearance AND still given people their money back (for those that cared).. Something to show that you cared more about your fans than the insurance claim. Even if it had been 20 minutes I think the fans would have appreciated seeing something the rest of the world did not. We didn't need a full stage show - anything was better than the disappointment everybody felt that night. Our hotel was full of people that had travelled for the concert.. The message boards are full of stories of people whose anniversaries, 40th's, reunions were ruined. I'm sure like us these people had a great weekend as they were with friends celebrating but like us I'm sure very few would have chosen Copenhagen to celebrate if it was not for the show. Giving people their money back is a drop in the ocean compared to what people spent getting there that weekend. I hope to get to see you guys play again but living in the states its doubtful as I certainly will never be able to travel again.. Elaine
