Don't know which disc to watch first

:D I have the same dilemma.. I guess I'll watch "the making of" one first as I know what to expect on the other one and this one is full of surprises!! :D

I'm over the moon about the dvd as well, can't wait to get it!! I'm with you who like the cover :D

Btw, has anyone noticed that the background of it looks almost the same as The flood single, just turned upside down. It's nice how they incorporated it together with the stadium and the crowd :) Take a look http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r40/brane_bucket/c0a9635d.jpg

A while back, RobbieWilliams.com made the shortlist for 'Best Official Site For An Artist' at the BT Digital Music Awards 2011 (http://www.btdma.com/index.php/) and as this was a People's Choice award we needed you to vote… and vote you did!

Huge thanks to everyone who supported Robbie's official website, we didn't win, but we did come third, beaten only by some very stiff competition.

Congratulations also to Robbie Williams Feelfine Stranger (http://robbiewilliamsmusic.ru/) who came in at No.11 in the 'People's Choice Award For Best Fan Site For An Artist'!

Robbie's New Album Set For Release By Universal Music

21 Oct 2011

http://i1023.photobucket.com/albums/af353/dougal1974/RW%20Pictures/Blog%20Pictures/211011.jpg

If you've been tuning in to Robbie's blogs (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs/very-happy-youre-digging-rudebox-radio) you'll already know that he has been busy in the studio recording his new album in his Los Angeles studio.

Today, we're extremely excited to announce that the album is set to be released next year by Universal Music following a deal struck between the world’s leading record company and the most successful British male solo artist ever.

The new studio album, Robbie’s first since Reality Killed The Video Star in 2009 and his latest creative venture following his phenomenally successful reunion with Take That, is likely to be the most hotly-anticipated new release of 2012. It will be issued worldwide by Universal Music next Autumn.

“I'm really thrilled to be joining the Universal family at what I think is the most exciting time in my career," said Robbie.

Tim Clark, Director, ie:music Ltd, says, “This great new deal puts Robbie Williams firmly in control of his own destiny, but with the most muscular of partners."

"What a thrill this announcement is," said Chairman/CEO of Universal Music Group, Lucian Grainge. "To be working with Robbie and his team and to have the opportunity to support this incredible stage of his career makes life so exciting."

David Joseph, Universal Music UK chairman & CEO, says: “Having had the chance to listen to the music I’ve no doubt that Robbie is currently at his most creatively inspired. We are about to witness something very special.”

He asked also for our opinion about that song! And it is a great song ! Much better as some songs on RKVS in my opinion! :)

I'm also like this. First I start with the listening to the songs in whole, but after the second song I just start scaning them to hear a little bit of each song. :D
And then I need to leave the album for a little while (don't know why, just have to :o), and then, when I'm listening it for the second round I just see the whole album in a different light (and then the grovers have their chance :) ).

If you think back to this time last year, TT were about to announce the tour. I think it was a year ago next week and the tickets went on sale on the Friday (remember that day:eek:). Well back then we didn't know which way it would go with Robbie Williams. We were asking if he would enjoy touring? What would happen after? Would he want to go back to being solo? Well here we are today with our answer:cool:

Reading your post I went through all that again.. thank you for reminding us Dougal. Those were days full of questions, but on the other hand full of excitement at the same time! Can't wait for the end of next year to come to go through it all again!! And basically despite all the questions at the time - Robbie did exactly what he said he would. 18 months with TT from July 2010, one album, one tour. There was a bit of confusion over the "I'm splitting me up due to musical similarities" remark :D but other than that I would say it all went to plan. Better than that really. :)

oh yes how could we forget that day 29th October i remember feeling so annoyed depressed frustrated after trying and failing to get tickets it wasn't till they added more dates that i got mine.
i remember the worry of whether Robbie would be happy and i think all us fans breathed a big sigh of relief seeing him so happy, singing his heart out on the tour and feeling the love. its great after a year of many performances from Robbie and heaps of Robbie news and those great summer blogs, we are going to have a new album and lots more Robbie next year !!!

It's because he looks so happy in it. I just want him to stay there. :)

I'm greedy and I want him solo as well :D but it's hard to imagine Robbie would be that happy on a solo tour. I just can't see it. I think he will need a lot of support to do another tour on his own and be able to enjoy it rather than endure it.

Exactly :) For me it's kinda easier to imagine RW solo than TT4 in the future. If it's TT, then it has to be TT5. That's how I feel. :)

I don't know whether that will work in real life but normally when Robbie wants something he makes it happen, so we'll have to see how it all fits in.

I think you might be right.......................................unfort unately....

I & many others have enjoyed every bit of Robbie Williams' solo career. I guess as times change so does RW's. He will always stay the best UK artist I've ever seen though. After the Robbie Williams' era it's time for the Take That's era.

Well that's the crunch isn't it. :)

If I thought with 100% certainty that Robbie will be as happy touring on his own as he was with the other lads then of course I would prefer a solo tour - more Robbie on stage, two hours of Robbie songs - brilliant.

But I actually don't believe that for one minute. I think he'll tour because really he has to. He'll do his best and he'll be brilliant as always and we'll all go home happy. But I don't think he'll have as much fun as he did with the others and I think it will still be hard for him and he'll be seven years older than the last time.

But whatever he decides to do in whatever capacity, I'll look forward to. As long as he's doing something professionally, I'll be happy. :)

Agree with you ladies :) Only, I know that if TT4 makes a tour while Rob's on his own, I'll attend that one as well :)

Oh, the preview was brilliant!!!! Never forget killed me at the end.. :-(( Howard is so beautiful! Did you see that sparkle in Rob's eyes?! :) Oh my.. I SO hope to see the same sparkle on his next solo tour! Robbie shouted "Manchester" two times including "Manchester do you feel me?!" on Rock dj, so it has to be Man then :D And the stadium seemed like Man City Stadium (the same one from the first trailer), so that's it I guess :D You and your daughter were so lucky to be there :) x

so did I, and I was a bit disappointed in the camera angles on the Flood, they did not show the whole performance at it's best, they seemed to enjoy highlighting on each individual performer for the most part, and too many over head shots in Never Forget I thought.

so did I, and I was a bit disappointed in the camera angles on the Flood, they did not show the whole performance at it's best, they seemed to enjoy highlighting on each individual performer for the most part, and too many over head shots in Never Forget I thought.

Yeah, I kinda agree with you Jackie! The flood, IMO, looks much more spectacular than it has been shown on that preview! And you're so right about Never forget, I thought that too, but that's kinda "crowd song" so I guess that's why they filmed it like that..

Neeeeever \o/ \o/ \o/ \o/ forget.. :D

That's a great thing, but I think the prices for people outside UK are still too high. I've just checked the shipping cost for the T shirt I bought a few months ago and it's reduced for £2 only  I was, in general, many times in situations when the item was half price of the shipping which is kinda silly :D But I guess that's the cost of living abroad :D Take it or leave it :D

Former Burberry Design Director Joins Farrell

http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff449/forumrw/Picture17-16.png

25 Nov 2011
Burberry's former Design Director, Ben Dickens, has been appointed by Farrell as Head of Design and will work hand in hand with Robbie Williams, to create the collections

"A breath of fresh air is floating down the corridors of Farrell," said Robbie, speaking about his new partner. "The beautiful Ben Dickens has arrived, bringing his optimism, passion and vision to my Grandad's clothing line. It's beautiful to be at the start and see an open road in front of us. The more we talk, the more ideas we throw around - it's exciting. It's very similar to making an album, after all what's an album? It's an idea. What is art? It's an idea, as are clothes. We are at the tip of an iceberg, and it is an iceberg."

We can't wait to see what's in store..!

I can understand Robbie's reluctance to get involved with Twitter - there is no filter on there for the hate mail that would inevitably arrive on his doorstep but realistically if they want to get more followers onto the @Robbiewilliams Twitter site - surely all Robbie needs to do is tweet personally a few times and the fans will find it. :)

I think maybe he needs to tweet more than twice to make an impact though. ;)

I couldn't understand the fascination of Twitter a year ago but I can see it is the way to reach people and guage public reaction in an instant.

I guess the Library of Congress feels the same way, Laura. Just read that they're going to start a Twitter archive. I'm not a big fan of it myself, but like you say, it is a gauge of the public's reactions to certain events. So, our man with his two tweets will be in an historical archive! Cool! ;)

Football Heroes And Celebrities Lined Up For Soccer Aid 2012
8 Mar 2012

http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff449/forumrw/Screenshot2012-03-05at184951.png

Soccer Aid is returning to Old Trafford on Sunday, 27th May, after a two year break and promises to be even bigger and better than last time!

Robbie himself returns to captain the England team and Welsh film star Michael Sheen will lead the Rest of the World team.

"Soccer Aid returns for the fourth time," said Robbie, "and with it a renewed sense of passion for this remarkable event that can help vulnerable children all around the world. I make no bones about it, we lost, The Rest of The World managed to scrape together a jammy victory. Soccer Aid this year will be bigger and better than ever because this time it's personal. Michael Sheen, I'm gunning for you son.”

The two captains will be joined by an array of Hollywood stars, footballing heroes and some of the UK's most famous faces as they battle it on on the pitch to raise money for UNICEF UK (http://www.unicef.org.uk/landing-pages/socceraid2012/)

Marvin Humes and Aston Merrygold from JLS, world-famous chef Gordon Ramsay, presenter and DJ Jamie Theakston and footballing heroes Teddy Sheringham and Edwin van de Sar are just some of the names confirmed for the big day… stay tuned as we'll be announcing more soon!

This year's match will once again be hosted by Dermot O'Leary and broadcast Iive on ITV1, with Dave Berry getting all the reaction from the game on Soccer Aid: Extra Time on ITV4 afterwards.

Let's not forget what lies at the heart of this fantastic day though… raising money for UNICEF UK.

Money raised through profits from ticket sales and donations made by viewers during the match will go to to the charity's invaluable work helping children around the world. This will be the fourth Soccer Aid event, with the previous matches, held Wembley in 2008 and at Old Trafford in 2006 and 2010, raising over £7 million in total for UNICEF’s work.

"Soccer Aid 2012 will raise vital money to change children's lives around the world," said David Bull, UNICEF UK Executive Director. "Every minute of every day, children die from easily preventable diseases like diarrhoea and malaria. Right now, children are suffering because they don't have enough to eat. It shouldn't be like this. Please, buy a ticket to go to Soccer Aid or watch the match and help us make a change for children."

If you want to be a part of this fun-filled day out, tickets go on sale on Thursday 8th March at 08:00 GMT.
Click here (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs/soccer-aid-tickets-sale-tomorrow) for more info on how to get yours.

If you can't make it you can still show your support for UNICEF by making a donation (http://www.unicef.org.uk/landing-pages/socceraid2012/), no matter how big or small.

As Soccer Aid 2012 draws nearer and football fever escalates, we're excited to announce that the England team have signed up three new recruits; award-winning actor Jason Isaacs, comedian John Bishop and, returning to the pitch after 2010's game, presenter Paddy McGuinness.

“Having spent most of my youth watching games from the substitute's bench," said Jason Isaacs, "it's a surreal nightmare to imagine playing alongside some of the world's greatest footballers. However it's such a privilege to be asked to help UNICEF in any way, that my best hope is to take a couple of them out of the game before I'm stretchered off myself. It's for a great cause so how wrong can that be?!"

These new signings will join England’s captain Robbie Williams and team mates Marvin Humes and Aston Merrygold from Britain’s biggest boy band JLS, pop star Olly Murs, actor Jonathan Wilkes, presenter Ben Shephard, comedian Patrick Kielty, DJ Jamie Theakston and football legends Teddy Sheringham, David Seaman and Jamie Redknapp with more names to be announced soon.

They will be taking on The Rest of the World who’s team sheet currently includes captain Michael Sheen, US comic actor/ producer Will Ferrell, Scottish actor Gerard Butler, comic genius Mike Myers, world class chef Gordon Ramsay and ex-Manchester United players Edwin van der Sar, Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Jaap Stam… with more high-profile names to be announced soon!

Soccer Aid is a charity football match which, to date, has raised £6.5 million in aid of UNICEF UK. The event began in 2006, when the first match was initiated by Robbie, who, as a valued Ambassador of UNICEF, chose the charity to benefit from donations made by the public. The match between two teams comprises celebrities and World Cup legends, one representing England (captained by Robbie) and the other the Rest of the World.

Soccer Aid is back for 2012 and takes place at Manchester's Old Trafford on Sunday, 27th May.

Set up by Robbie in May 2000, Give It Sum is Robbie's charitable fund which he initially set up with the money from his Pepsi sponsorship deal. The fund is open to a broad range of self-help projects, community groups and voluntary organisations based in North Staffordshire.

http://i1023.photobucket.com/albums/af353/dougal1974/RW%20Web%20Site%20Pictures/Blog%20Pictures/5.jpg (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/charity/give-it-sum)

Robbie was introduced to UNICEF UK by the late Ian Dury, himself a UNICEF Special Representative in 1998, when they travelled together to Sri Lanka to see UNICEF's work. In 2001, Robbie became a UNICEF UK Ambassador and has continued to be a passionate supporter ever since visiting UNICEF's work on HIV and AIDS in Mozambique and South Africa, and fronting UNICEF's Unite for Children, Unite against AIDS campaign.

The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice is based in Robbie’s home town of Stoke-on-Trent and provides respite and end of life care for children with life threatening conditions, and support for the whole family at the hospice and in their own home.

No one expects to outlive their child. The fear of what lies ahead coupled with the challenges of caring for a very sick child, can be a strain for many parents. Regular hospice visits allow families to relax and recharge their batteries in a safe and supportive environment.

“It’s like our own home – it’s brilliant!”

Robbie Travels To Mexico City For Soccer Aid 2012

20 Apr 2012

Robbie and Jonny Wilkes, friend and co-founder of Soccer Aid, have been in Mexico City this week with children's charity UNICEF. They were there to visit some of the city´s most vulnerable children and make a short film, raising awareness of the children that will be helped by the proceeds from Soccer Aid 2012 (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/socceraid). The film will be shown during Soccer Aid on ITV 1, on May 27th 2012.

Filming took place in some of the poorest parts of Mexico City, including the slums of Itzapalapa. Robbie and Jonathan spent time with an 18-month-old child, called Kimberley, and her five brother and sisters who live hand to mouth in cramped, dirty conditions and are at risk of abuse and disease. They also visited a shelter which helps children and their families by giving them a safe place to sleep as well as clean water to drink and nutritious food to eat.

http://i768.photobucket.com/albums/xx326/jazz67/MexicoCity2012_2_640.jpg

"Meeting children in Mexico City really showed me how dangerous the world can be for a child," said Robbie, "and how hard it can be for them to even survive. Right now, children are suffering and it shouldn’t be like this.

Soccer Aid is so great because it helps children just like this, living unbelievably tough lives all around the world, to have a better future. It´s also a brilliant football match, and I can tell you it´s going to be bigger and better than ever this year. Why's that? Well, I’m definitely going to get the winner’s cup back from Michael Sheen.

Please, help make Soccer Aid 2012 the best one yet – come and join us at Old Trafford and support UNICEF´s vital work for children.”

Soccer Aid comes to Manchester's Old Trafford on Sunday 27th May and tickets are available now. If you haven't got yours yet, what are you waiting for?

Who's playing?
Take That bandmate Mark Owen, award-winning actor Jason Isaacs, comedian John Bishop, presenter Paddy McGuinness, popstar Olly Murs, Marvin Humes and Aston Merrygold from JLS, presenters Jonny Wilkes and Ben Shephard, comedian Patrick Kielty, world-famous chef Gordon Ramsay, presenter and DJ Jamie Theakston, Hollywood heavyweights Will Ferrell, Gerard Butler, Mike Myers and footballing heroes David Seaman, Jamie Redknapp, Roy Keane, Teddy Sheringham, Kenny Dalglish, Jaap Stam, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Edwin van de Sar are just some of the names confirmed for the big day… stay tuned as we'll be announcing more soon!

This year's match will once again be hosted by Dermot O'Leary and broadcast Iive on ITV1, with Dave Berry getting all the reaction from the game on Soccer Aid: Extra Time on ITV4 afterwards.

World football keepy-uppy champion Dan Magness is heading up Unicef's 'Keep It Up for Soccer Aid' campaign today as he attempts to set yet another word record…keepy-uppys from Wembley to Old Trafford!

Head over to ITV.com (http://www.itv.com/daybreak/sport/soccer-aid/) to watch him and Soccer Aid co-founder Jonny Wilkes talk about the journey ahead, Robbie and Jonny's recent trip to Mexico and what Soccer Aid is all about.

Kasabian's Serge Rocks Up For Soccer Aid 2012
3 May 2012
http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff449/forumrw/Screenshot2012-03-05at184951.png

There are just over three weeks to go until Soccer Aid (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/socceraid) hits Old Trafford and there are still some huge names to be announced. The latest megastar to be confirmed Sergio Pizzorno from the mighty rock band, Kasabian.

Serge had originally dreamt of being a footballer when he was younger, but his plans soon changed when his careers adviser disagreed: "I told my careers adviser I wanted to be centre forward for Leicester City. When he said 'No' I thought I'd be in a rock 'n' roll band." It's time for him to swap his guitar for football boots and sell out arenas for the Theatre of Dreams to help raise money for UNICEF!

He joins the Rest of the World team, captained by Welsh actor Michael Sheen, alongside Will Ferrell, Gerard Butler, Mike Myers, James McAvoy, Patrick Kielty and Gordon Ramsay with ex Manchester United players Edwin van der Sar, Roy Keane, Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Jaap Stam. The team will be managed by legendary Scot, Kenny Dalglish.

The formidable England team will be captained by Robbie Williams, with Jason Isaacs, Mark Owen, Marvin Humes, Aston Merrygold, Olly Murs, John Bishop, Jonathan Wilkes, Ben Shephard, Jamie Theakston and Paddy McGuinness. Football heroes Teddy Sheringham, David Seaman and Martin Keown will complete the squad. For the first time Bradley Walsh takes on the role as Coach with Jamie Redknapp assistant managing.

Edward Norton And Woody Harrelson Sign Up To Soccer Aid 2012

http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff449/forumrw/Screenshot2012-03-05at184951.png
11 May 2012

Last week we announced that Serge Pizzorno (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs/kasabians-serge-rocks-for-soccer-aid-2012) would be joining the Rest of the World squad for Soccer Aid 2012. This week we have yet more superstar names confirmed to take part in the big game at Old Trafford...

Actor Woody Harrelson returns to the Rest of the World team alongside newcomer, actor, filmmaker, and UN Goodwill Ambassador for Biodiversity Edward Norton!

"As far as chances to have fun while doing something that helps other people...it doesn't get much better than this," said Edward, talking about taking part in Soccer Aid 2012.

Anyone watching in 2010 will know that Woody scored the winning penalty during the game, securing the trophy for the Rest of the World team for the first time in the tournament’s history and he'll be hoping for victory once again at Old Trafford.
“Scoring the winning goal at Old Trafford in 2010 was probably the highlight of a pretty great life," said Woody Harrelson. "Granted, I instantly became the least popular man in England, but they loved me in Ireland. It was great to be a part of the Rest of the World’s first victory against the English team, I can't wait to see what happens this time!”

Joining Woody and Edward in the Rest of the World team will be four-time Champions League winner, Dutch international and current AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf.

Taking on the formidable Rest of The World are the latest England team signings, striker Kevin Phillips and defender Des Walker.

Kevin was the only Englishman to have won the European Golden Shoe – an award for the top goal scorer in the European premiership league and Des, best known for playing in England's famous Italia '90 team which got to the semi-finals of The World Cup, earned 59 caps playing for England during his career.
The best news is that tickets are still available! Be a part of one of the most exciting football matches of the year and support UNICEF...

With just over ten days to go to the big event, three more sporting greats have joined Soccer Aid 2012.

The three latest include West Ham manager Sam 'Big Sam' Allardyce, Welsh retired boxer Joe Calzaghe, also known as the 'Italian Dragon', and former Man City player Peter Reid.

Sam and Joe both return this year, having taken part in 2010's line up, where Joe Calzaghe scored a goal in the 63rd minute, a performance no doubt he will be hoping to repeat this year.

Peter Reid, fresh off his recent celebrations following Man City winning the premiership, will be making his debut appearance at Soccer Aid.

He did look lovely last night.

Jamie Theakston had Gordon Ramsay on his show this morning. They were saying how hot it was training yesterday and how they're relying on the younger players now all the original 2006 players are getting old. :D David Beckham gave GR advice not to chase every ball to preserve energy LOL.

Read Robbie’s Mexico Diary

http://i768.photobucket.com/albums/xx326/jazz67/socceraiddiary3.jpg

25 May 2012
Read about Robbie’s recent UNICEF trip to Mexico in his three day diary below.

Get an insight to into why Robbie particularly wanted to visit Mexico on this UNICEF trip and read his first hand account of what happened when he visited the slums and met the children and their parents living there.

Find out how he’s hoping to bring some 1966 English World Cup passion to the footy game at Old Trafford this Sunday, how he’s looking forward to beating the Rest of the World team and, with your help, raising loads of money for Soccer Aid 2012.

DONATE TO SOCCER AID (http://www.unicef.org.uk/landing-pages/socceraid2012/)

Day one

I’ve played in Mexico in the past and it’s always been a place that I’ve wanted to know more about and go back to with UNICEF.

Being a UNICEF Ambassador I’ve been privileged to meet some of the children Soccer Aid has helped; children orphaned by AIDS in South Africa, those affected by the terrible earthquake in Haiti in 2010 and now some of Mexico City’s most vulnerable children.

I feel a bit apprehensive once touching down. It's always a bit tense on arrival into these locations, you want to do a good job but it’s sometimes really hard to see how tough the children have it. Johnny is with me and it will be good to share this with him when he’s put so much into Soccer Aid.

http://i768.photobucket.com/albums/xx326/jazz67/socceraiddiary1.jpg

Day two

First off I meet a mum called Aidee who has come back to show us where she and her children were living on the streets in the centre of the city. Two of her children, Hanna 10 and Josue 5, are here too. It’s hard for them and I try and make them laugh a bit with help from our translator. I wish I spoke Spanish, every year I plan to learn, but it hasn't happened yet!
They walk me down a really busy road with lots of makeshift tents and old furniture all over the place. There’s a little boy kind of weaving into the road and I want to run over and pull him away from the cars. Hanna shows us the shack where she used to live. Everywhere stinks of glue.

There are drug addicts wondering around off their heads, seeing them near the kids is really bad; it’s absolutely no place for a child. There are no toilets, no clean water.

One little boy is Ricardo, almost 2. His mum, Augustina, comes over and in her arms is a tiny baby, only one month old. I can’t believe a newborn is living in this place. Johnny and I feel quite desperate leaving here. You always feel you want to do more, to do something right there and then. You can’t help but get overwhelmed and I feel like its affecting me even more this year with the little one in Ayda’s tummy.

Day Three

We spend today in big slums in Itzapalapa meeting lots of children in living in extreme poverty. One little girl Kimberley is only a year and a half. She and her five brothers and sisters live in shacks on the side of the road. There is lots of rubbish everywhere, the smell is terrible. The kids are all vulnerable to being bitten by rats and getting diseases. It feels edgy for us so we were really worried for their safety. The kids are so small and young and you just want to protect them.

We leave this part of the city and head south. We stop at a huge crossroads and I meet Angel, 5, and Lluvia, 3, who are playing in the dirt. Their parents come here every day to wash windscreens to try and make enough money to feed the children. But they’re not safe here as people have tried to buy or kidnap the children a few times. It’s absolutely shocking.
Angel and I had a kick about too. The kids have no idea who I am, but usually if you bring a ball and invent some sort of game, they are happy to play and laugh. I love that bit, any initial nerves that you feel on arrival always go away once you are around the kids. I can’t wait to play with my own.
I think about how when I become a dad my child will be safe and protected and Soccer Aid seems more important than ever. There are children just like Angel and Lluvia living all over the world who need our help.

We head off to a shelter, where Hanna and Josue and their brothers are now living. It’s really basic but it’s a world away from the terrible place we met them yesterday.

Here, you can see they are safe, away from kidnappers and violence. They have water and toilets and food to eat. The head of the shelter tells me how UNICEF is working with the government to make sure children like Hanna are protected at shelters like these so they can have healthy and safe lives.

All this has really hammered home how dangerous the world can be for a child. I just have to remember we’re doing our bit and it’s an honour to meet these children.

Johnny and I leave ready to play some serious football in Soccer Aid. We want to smash the Rest of the World, and Johnny, Mark, I and the rest of the boys will definitely be bringing some ’66 style passion to the pitch.

But we’ll also be thinking about the children living really tough lives all around the world. Because Soccer Aid is really all about helping UNICEF help them. Seeing the money that’s been raised from mine and Johnny’s simple idea, gets you more excited every year. Whether it’s for children in Mexico, Haiti or Africa, it feels really good to know that we can all play our part in helping those less fortunate than ourselves.

28 May 2012

Last night saw the fourth Soccer Aid take place at Manchester’s Old Trafford and it was another huge success both on and off the pitch. By the final whistle England had their hands on the cup with a 3-1 victory and the total figure pledged by viewers alone had already reached £2million, and with the UK government matching donations pound for pound, it immediately shot up to £4million. Stay tuned for the final figure!

http://i940.photobucket.com/albums/ad243/1691966/RWNBs/9604aa14.jpg

With almost 70,000 fans turning out to cheer on their heroes, it was an exciting night of football. Kasabian’s Sergio Pizzorno, who was later awarded Man Of The Match, knocked in a wonderful first half goal, but the England team hit home no less than three in the second half, with goals from Teddy Sheringham, Jonathan Wilkes and Kevin Phillips, to clinch a well deserved victory.

http://i940.photobucket.com/albums/ad243/1691966/RWNBs/81255c3d.jpg

Robbie had said in his Mexico City diary that he wanted to add some “66 style passion to the pitch”, this was certainly the case when the boys smashed in three goals!

Soccer Aid might be over but you can continue to help UNICEF to save children’s lives; your support provides food, vaccines and other life-saving supplies to children around the world who desperately need it, all To find out more about how the money raised by yesterday’s event will be used and why Soccer Aid is so important follow Unicef UK on Facebook and Twitter.

Farrell stockist House of Fraser has been busy raising money for Soccer Aid over the last few weeks and, if you stopped by one of the ten stores stocking Robbie's menswear label recently, you'll have no doubt seen the collection boxes. Thanks to all their customers giving generously, the department store raised a significant amount of cash ahead of the big game yesterday, contributing to to the Soccer Aid proceeds which go to children's charity UNICEF.

Before he headed off to Old Trafford to throw on his footy kit last night, Robbie dropped by Manchester's House of Fraser to pick up a cheque on behalf of UNICEF. Take a look at the photo below which sees him pictured with the Farrell staff.

Thanks to everyone who donated their spare change in store, every penny counts towards supporting UNICEF and, with your help, they can make a change to the children around the world.

House Of Fraser Competition Winners Meet Robbie Williams
31 May 2012

It was Sunday night and with Soccer Aid kicking off in a few hours the excitement was brewing, but for a lucky five it was about to hit fever pitch!

The evening started with the winners getting exclusive access to the players’ changing room area, after which all five lined up in the legendary Old Trafford football tunnel for a prime view of the England and the Rest Of The World squads as they made their way onto the pitch to greet the spectators. It was a breathtaking moment!

Back from their walk around the pitch, the team returned to the tunnel and then came the moment they’d all been waiting for, it was Robbie! Time to meet the man himself.

First up was Jo, who chatted about her dogs and got a number of photos signed by Robbie, not forgetting to snap some of the moment.

Mandy followed, who had a wonderful story of how she had once given Robbie a lift in her car back in 1993, which he remembered well. Happy memories exchanged, Robbie signed her photo from that day, 19 years ago!

Next up was Lorraine, who needed no introduction… Robbie recognised her as someone who’d dressed up as a lobster on the Take That Progress Live Tour last year.

Finally, Robbie spent a short time speaking to happy couple Alexis and Gary, who are also expecting. Baby tips were exchanged, along with more photo signing, before Robbie had to return to the changing room to put his kit on.

The winners were also treated to an extra bonus when they had the chance to meet many of the other players playing that day, who were also in the tunnel at the same time.

Watch Robbie's Soccer Aid Appeal Film From Mexico

1 Jun 2012

http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff449/forumrw/MexicoFilm.jpg

On his recent visit to Mexico (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs/read-robbie’s-mexico-diary), in aid of UNICEF, Robbie got to know the children in the slums of Mexico City and witnessed the dangers they face first hand. Originally shown during Soccer Aid on ITV1, this film gives a short account of Robbie’s dramatic experience.

Soon to have a child of his own, the stark comparison between what kids face growing up back at home and what kids face growing up in Mexico hit Robbie hard. Admitting that children at home are very lucky, Robbie brought to light that the same cannot be said for the children of Mexico City, who face the fatal dangers of poor sanitation, abuse and disease every day.

Watch as Robbie cradles newly born baby Dominique, whose mother lives in fear that disease-ridden rats may bite her children as they sleep.

The prospects for older children seem to be no better; Robbie met children Lluvia, 3, and Angel, 5, who are at risk each day of being snatched by criminal gangs whilst their parents work.

This year Soccer Aid (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs/england-victorious-at-soccer-aid) has raised a whopping amount of over £4m, which goes towards providing much needed shelters equipped with water and toilets and keeping children safe from danger and abuse.

Without public donations this wouldn’t have been possible, so again, a huge thank you to everyone who has supported Soccer Aid!

Jam Alongside Robbie With New App, Jammit (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs/jam-alongside-robbie-with-new-app-jammit)

http://i940.photobucket.com/albums/ad243/1691966/RWNBs/2272b581.jpg

28 Jun 2012

Jammit is one of the biggest modern developments in music education-technology, allowing users to virtually practice and perform their chosen songs in the recording studio alongside their favourite artists, and we're very excited to announce that select Robbie tracks are now available on the service!

For all you budding musicians out there who already have the app, hop over to the dedicated Robbie page here (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/jammit/id386325076?mt=8)… the lovely people at Jammit have even given friendlies a special discount code for 20% off, just use JAMROBBIE20.

If you've not got the app yet, download it for free from iTunes here (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/jammit/id386325076?mt=8).

What is Jammit?Jammit uses the original recordings from a track, allowing fans to break down their favourite pieces of music and isolate specified instruments from the rest of the mix, whether it be guitar, bass, drums, keyboard or vocals.

Available on the iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/jammit/id386325076?mt=8) and for Mac and Windows desktop, Jammit has been developed in order to help users learn to play selected songs, note for note. Speed controls also let you slow down the track so you can untangle the tricky bits at your own pace.

All you have to do is download the free app (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/jammit/id386325076?mt=8), purchase your favourite Robbie tunes from the list and rock out!

Have fun and don't forget to share your recorded sessions on Facebook using the 'Share' feature!

Team Up With Friends To Get Discounted Robbie Goodies

11 Jul 2012

We're extremely excited to announce something that we think you're going to love; the chance to snap up Robbie goodies at bargain prices. But we're not having a sale… it's called co-buying.

RobbieWilliams.com have teamed up with BuyaPowa to give you the power to drive down the prices on a fantastic range of items from the Shop by getting together. We'll be running a series of co-buys which you won't want to miss out on. Each week will see the launch of a new co-buy and the more people that team up to buy it, the more the price drops… it's that simple!

Here's how it works:
- The power of co-buying means that the price keeps dropping as more people join the deal, until the final best price is reached.

- Each co-buy lasts for a limited time and there are a limited number of each product available, so be sure to secure your item if you see something you like.

- Joining the co-buy guarantees your purchase and gives you the opportunity to drive the price down by bringing in other buyers.

- No matter what point you joined in the co-buy, you'll buy it at the final price.

- Use Facebook, Twitter and email to share and spread the word about co-buying.

- Join the race; bring in more buyers than anyone else and you could get your co-buy for free.

- Spotted something you'd like see in a co-buy? Request any product you think deserves a co-buy. We'll try our best to add the most popular requests to new co-buys.

Remember, the more people who join a co-buy, the lower the price will drop, until you hit the best price. And it doesn't matter whether you're the first to join or the last one in - everyone pays the final price when the co-buy closes.

Be sure to spread the word and and get friends on board, that way you'll all be getting an incredible item for an amazingly low price. Plus, as long as it sells out, whoever brings the most other people into any of the co-buys will get their item entirely for free… yes free!

Tell us what to feature!
The first co-buy will be launching on Thursday, 19th July, so be sure to keep your eyes on RobbieWilliams.com. Right now though, we want to know which items you'd like to see featured in the co-buys. Take a look at the Shop here and decide which things you'd like to buy together for less.

Let us know your favourites in the comments below, or tweet @robbiewilliams using hashtag #robbiecobuy. We'll make the most popular choices happen!

This collectors' item usually sells for over £150 in the Shop, but by joining forces with friends you could pick it up for £110.

Don't forget, if the co-buy sells out whoever brings in the most people by spreading the word will get their Limited Edition Framed Award free!

There are only ten of these available so, if you've had your eye on this, be quick.

Join Robbie In Taking Action Against Childhood Hunger

30 Jul 2012
As a UNICEF UK ambassador and someone who holds the issue very close to his heart, Robbie’s asking for your support in putting childhood hunger at the top of the agenda when the Prime Minister hosts an event on nutrition next month.

Last week, on the eve of the Olympics, David Beckham presented Prime Minister David Cameron with a letter signed by 50 high profile members of the sport and entertainment industries, urging him to take action against the childhood hunger crisis that affects 180 million children worldwide.

Join Robbie in asking world leaders to treat this issue with the urgency it deserves and add your name to the letter by clicking here.

From my own personal point of view I'll be glad when all the selling is over and we get back to the music.

I'm not interested in scarves, candles, compacts or bracelets or indeed anything else RW.Com has to sell - unless it's Robbie's new album.

So I sit and wait....

He's got a baby to have first Elodieee - he can't announce anything too early otherwise how can he do promo it if Ayda's just given birth? That wouldn't be fair on any of them.

Honestly I don't think he'd even think about an XF appearance until late October - maybe single out the next day, album a week after. That gives him a month with Ayda and his daughter.

I hope he doesn't announce the single too early - weeks and weeks ahead of release. It loses it's impetus otherwise.

It will all be fine. I'm certain :)

And as if that wasn't enough of a discount, it could be free for whoever brings in the most co-buyers.
