IMPORTANT: Buying Electric Proms Tickets Second-Hand (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs/important-buying-electric-proms-tickets-second-hand)
23 Sep 2009
Tickets to Robbie's performance at BBC's Electric Proms sold out in a flash this morning and we are aware that many of you who did not manage to get tickets are very disappointed.
We strongly recommend that you do not purchase tickets from unofficial sources, by this we mean anyone selling tickets second-hand. Strict security measures will be in place on the night and you risk being disappointed further if you buy these tickets at an inflated price only to be refused entry.
There are no hard tickets for this show - entry will be with wristband only.
A maximum of two tickets is allowed per person.
Ticket-holders will be required to provide TWO forms of ID on the night:
1] the credit card that was used to purchase the tickets
2] a form of photo ID that matches the name and address pertaining to the booking.
Wristbands will be put on the purchaser and their guest at the box office of the Roundhouse. The guest must be in attendance with the purchaser at the same time. No wristband will be given out unattached.
It will not be possible for anyone to have these wristbands up front of the night, let alone have two wristbands.
Anyone with a wristband that appears to have been tampered with will be refused entry.
Once again, we understand your disappointment but please do not buy these tickets second-hand.
Always problems with tickets

No, this here is another competition, obviously performed by RW.com (as the announcement addressed to members of here can let guess) together with BBC and likely open for all members, regardless of their country of citizenship, while the £5.00 ones are only for UK residents and performed exclusively from BBC

Robbie Talks To GQ Magazine (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs/robbie-talks-to-gq-magazine)
6 Oct 2009
Be sure to pop into your local newsagent on Thursday morning as Robbie is not only featured in the November UK edition of GQ magazine, but is also starring on the front cover, which you can check out below!
Talking exclusively to the gentleman's style publication about his new album, Reality Killed The Video Star, Robbie says it's "as good as anything I've ever done, if not better. I know I say that every time, but that's what I felt and this is what I feel again. It's ace. It's amazing. So then, all eyes on me. Scary."
Here's a few more snippets from Robbie's interview with the magazine...
On his move back to England before returning to LA;
"That's me. Will do anything on an impulse."
On meeting Ayda:
"Then she came along. I've always been, 'You're not getting in, you're not getting in...' I never gave anybody a chance really."
On the new album;
"A happy medium" between angular experimentation and commercial, mainstream music.
About the post-split chat with Take That;
"We all had a massive chat, one of those chats that other bands who split up can't seem to have. It was really healing, if that doesn't sound too nancy. And at the end of it everything had gone and we were in the kitchen and I had my arm round Gary. I just loved him. I think he felt the same way. It was really beautiful."
The nine-page feature includes an exclusive photoshoot of Robbie at his inimitable best... take a look at some of the fantastic photos, taken by Simon Emmett, below.
All photography by Simon Emmett
To get your hands on a copy, head down to your local newsagent from Thursday, 08 October, or visit the GQ website now to find out more.
Remember this?
The GQ feature is Robbie's first with GQ for four years, where he was featured on the front cover of the UK edition in November 2005 with a handful of scantily-clad ladies (below)!
I haven't received a newsletter email yet. Have they been sent out? When's the deadline for the comp?

She’s not dead; she’s just really condescending” — he not only aced his core appeal, but introduced about as fine a piece of pop as has been in the Top Ten in the last ten years."

The Guardian
"For a man who now apparently suffers from stage fright so acute that he has no plans to tour for the foreseeable future, he seemed entirely confident and in control.
The songs from his forthcoming album Reality Killed The Video Star slotted perfectly alongside No Regrets and the grand finale of Angels – Morning Sun, an elegiac post-Oasis ballad designed to get stadiums full of arms waving in unison – seemed a pretty representative example.
It all went according to plan but equally, it was not too slick to be genuinely enjoyable. Williams pretended to choke up before performing his old hit Feel. It was, he said, his auntie's favourite song, "and I'm sure she's looking down on us now." As the audience awwwed sympathetically, he added: "She's not dead, she's just really, really condescending,", his defiant oddness rather pleasingly intact, even in a moment of triumph."

The Independent
"As the show progressed, his [Robbie's] more chummy, blokeish side prevailed in self-deprecating chat about his greying hair and his rapprochement with Take That, a sly impression of The George Michael Dance, and his perfectly-timed delivery of an actually quite decent joke: introducing "Feel", he remarks with sombre sincerity about how it was his gran's favourite song. "I'm sure she's looking down on us now," he said, pausing briefly to gaze heavenwards before adding, "She's not dead – just really condescending!"
Musically, the new material ranges from the terse, twitchy "Bodies" to the chamber-pop of "Blasphemy"" . The obvious "I Am The Walrus" influence on the string arrangement of "Morning Sun" is further accentuated by a bout of brazen "goo-goo-g'joob"ing, immediately followed by quotes from "A Walk On The Wild Side" in a crowd-pleasing singalong of "Come Undone".
But predictably it's the set-closing "Angels" and an encore of "Millennium" which secure the most enthusiastic responses, after which a cute run through his producer's lone hit, "Video Killed The Radio Star", sends everyone home with a hum in their heart."

The Telegraph
"Looking trim and fit, Williams told stories, cracked jokes (usually with himself as the butt), led the crowd in comedy dance routines and belted his way through a set of songs, old and new, so catchy and clever and full of personality they reminded everyone precisely why he has been champion of the British pop scene for so long.
A singalong Come Undone, on which he leaves all the rude words to the crowd, demonstrates the strange appeal of Williams, a family favourite who can lead an audience in a chorus of self-loathing, singing: “I am scum but I’m you son.”
Williams is critically underrated as a songwriter. He has a real affinity for melody and a sharp, lyrical edge with a penchant for puns and catchy phrases... tonight Williams seized his chance to remind pop exactly what it’s been missing."

"Robbie Williams overcame his nervous X Factor comeback with a spine-tingling opening performance of the BBC Proms last night.
It was his first full live gig in three years showcasing his new album, Reality Killed The Radio Star.
But with a 38-man orchestra, two drummers and opera singer Olivia Safe – and knowing he was about to break a record for the most screened live performance worldwide – he got his mojo back.
He ended with rousing classics Angels, Millennium and... Radio Killed the Video Star. The real Robbie’s back at last."

The Daily Express
"Commanding the stage with a superstar's swagger, a confident and at times emotional Williams proved he is a slick a showman as he ever was.
At last night's one-off gig... Williams kicked off with his latest track Bodies - number two in the charts - and proved his return to form as a worthy hit-maker.
During a controlled and near seamless performance there was little hint that this 35-year-old former member of Take That had ever belted out a boy band's ballad.
Instead he treated the rapturous crowd at London's Roundhouse to plenty of vintage Robbie anthems, and some hot new material from his soon-to-be released album Reality Killed The Video Star."

The Daily Star
"Comebacks have been 10 a penny this year in pop but Robbie Williams never shies away from making sure he's centre stage.
Announcing he was pleased new album Reality Killed The Video Star hadn't leaked, Bob trundled through a bunch of newies and classical lass Olivia Safe in a spangly silver frock backed up on Starstruck.
But truth is, classic Bob is what we wanted and that came in the form of Feel, his best song ever - yes, including ruddy Angels."

Who: Joanna from Liverpool
How far did you travel to get here tonight?
I travelled from Liverpool, so it's about... how many miles, not too sure.
How long have you been here?
Since 1 o'clock this morning!
When was the last time you saw Robbie live?
Oh my god, it would have been Leeds in 2006, that tour was just fabulous. I went to see him in Dublin as well.
Have you heard clips of the new album on RobbieWilliams.com? What do you think?
I have! They're absolutely fantastic, I can't wait to hear them all.
Have you got a favourite?
I do like Morning Sun, can't wait to hear more!
What songs are you hoping to hear tonight?
A lot of old classics, obviously Angels, that's going to go down well isn't it, Supreme maybe... I'd love to hear Lazy Days live but sadly he doesn't do that anymore. He only performed it '97 and '98 and he doesn't perform it anymore.
Why is Robbie electric?
Because he is my all time forever idol!

Last Sunday at X Factor! It was awesome, it was good fun. The crowd were just lovin' him!
Have you heard clips of the new album on RobbieWilliams.com? What do you think?
Yes, we can't wait to hear the rest of it, it's such a teaser! You can't get a feel for the songs...
Any favourites?
I need to hear them all before I choose, and then when you hear them live, they turn around and some ones that you didn't appreciate first of all turn into something that you really love. And when we think of Astoria (where Robbie first performed for Intensive Care) and we heard that first time live it was just mind-blowing and then you couldn't wait to get the album. We need a tour! When, when, when...!?
What songs are you hoping to hear tonight?
I want Supreme, 'Get on your knees', that's the only one line I want.

What songs are you hoping to hear tonight?
I want to hear She's The One, I like Eternity as well... and Rock DJ... and Road To Mandalay as well. We like all of them! And the new one, love his new one, Bodies.

What songs are you hoping to hear tonight?
Oh, just all of them! The ice skating one, She's The One, awesome... and the cartoon one... Let Love Be Your Energy. I like some of his Swing stuff as well, Mack The Knife.

Who: Rachel and Matt from Aylesbury
How far did you travel to get here tonight?
About 40mins on the train, from Amersham... not too bad. There are people down there with sleeping bags!
When was the last time you saw Robbie live?
This is the first time, we can't wait. She is excited, she didn't know anything about it until this morning... I booked the day off work for her.
Have you heard clips of the new album on RobbieWilliams.com? What do you think?
We like Bodies!
What songs are you hoping to hear tonight?
We want to hear more of his new stuff, but his old stuff as well... what were you singing today in the shower..? She's The One, that's one of my favourites, and I like his Swing stuff as well, like Mr Bojangles.
Why is Robbie electric?
He's just amazing, just gorgeous, I love him. We saw him, he came down, we got to see him. He's just so nice, genuine, lovely. He said he was feeling really calm, he's not nervous and he can't wait.
Who: Caroline, Donna and Jo from Berkshire
How far have you travelled to get here tonight?
About an hour by car, from Berkshire.
When was the last time you saw Robbie live?
Knebworth.
Heard any of the new album?
No, just Bodies. The rest is going to be a surprise tonight. Bodies is different in a good way I suppose! We're just getting used to it really!
What songs are you hoping to hear tonight?
Angels! Rock DJ, Mr Bojangles, Let Me Entertain You.
Why is Robbie electric?
Because he's mad and sexy!
Who: Joyce, Katie, Andy and Jordan from Aberdeen
How far have you travelled to get here tonight?
Probably about 700 miles from Aberdeen. We travelled down this morning, staying in London overnight and going home tomorrow.
When was the last time you saw Robbie live?
His last gig at Hampden Park a good couple of years ago.
Heard any of the new album?
Well I've heard Bodies and I've downloaded it. I hope he gets to number 1. I'm disappointed he got to number 2, but I think he'll get there though. I think Bodies is brilliant actually; I love all the music and all the instrumental stuff so it is a really, really good track. I'm excited for the new album!
What songs are you hoping to hear tonight?
Probably She's The One is one of them that we really like, some of his old stuff - like Come Undone. There's not really a bad one, everything!
Why is Robbie electric?
I think it's just Robbie, Robbie is just a character isn't he? His music makes you feel fantastic. He's a born entertainer, you just have to look at him and you just feel good. He's got the full package!
Who: May and Sarah from Telford
How far have you travelled to get here tonight?
150 miles - about three hours by the time we got into London. And then another few hours trying to find a parking space!
When was the last time you saw Robbie live?
At Knebworth in 2003.
Heard any of the new album?
Only his new song, which is good. We don't mind what he sings, as long as he sings!
What songs are you hoping to hear tonight?
Come Undone we like. She's The One, Angels and the new one, Bodies.
Why is Robbie electric?
He's a good entertainer, he's brilliant on the stage. He's just a showman. I think he's always really glad that you're there, he seems to be with you, down to earth and a bit humble too.
Who: Kirsty and John from Ipswich
How far have you travelled to get here tonight?
Nearly two hours by train.
When was the last time you saw Robbie live?
Milton Keynes Bowl in 2006.
Heard any of the new album?
Yes, I've heard it on RobbieWilliams.com - I really like it. I mean, it's different, but I'm a big Robbie fan anyway. My favourite is Bodies at the moment but I have pre-ordered the album so looking forward to hearing it.
What songs are you hoping to hear tonight?
I think now he's doing more stuff, and different stuff to the Robbie we know, there's certain songs I'd like him to play tonight but even if it's tracks we've never heard, especially off the new album, it's still Robbie! John wants to hear Feel, I want to hear Phoenix From The Flames. Also things like Come Undone, Me And My Monkey... anything!
Why is Robbie electric?
It's not electric, it's a buzz. He's got us there in the palm of his hand. He's such a brilliant entertainer. Even if don't get up close and personal tonight it's not going to matter. At Knebworth and Milton Keynes we were in the front row, but it's the whole being there. People who've never seen him tonight will realise how personal this is because from 135,000 to this capacity is nothing!
Who: Ian and Gary from London
How far have you travelled to get here tonight?
We've travelled from Greenwich, so quite close.
When was the last time you saw Robbie live?
We've both never seen him before, this is the first time! We heard about tickets on Radio 1 and everyone's really jealous at work that we got some!
Heard any of the new album?
Only Bodies; it's good. It's a bit more of classic Robbie I suppose.
What songs are you hoping to hear tonight?
Let Me Entertain You, No Regrets.
Why is Robbie electric?
Because he is plugged in. Wherever he goes he just lights the space up.
Who: Carolyn from Ealing
How far have you travelled to get here tonight?
It took me about an hour to get here; drove to Euston then got the train across.
When was the last time you saw Robbie live?
Milton Keynes, 2006. This is my sixth time; I was at Knebworth - I've done the whole thing.
Heard any of the new album?
Yeah, I've heard it on RobbieWilliams.com. It's alright actually, I think it's better than Rudebox; it's a bit more of the old Robbie Williams - which is best. I quite like the third track, You Know Me.
What songs are you hoping to hear tonight?
No Regrets, Let Me Entertain You. Angels, definitely... it's my college song. I think we can guarantee hearing that one tonight!
Why is Robbie electric?
He's beautiful! Loved him since 1998 from Glastonbury and I could listen to his songs all day.

Our Competition Winners' Electric Night (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs/our-competition-winners-electric-night)
26 Oct 2009
Robbie's performance at BBC Electric Proms has received huge applause and fantastic reviews (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs/bbc-electric-proms-in-the-news) from the press and media and those of you who attended on the night (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs/bbc-electric-proms-view-from-the-queue), it truly was an amazing experience for all that were there, and it was also the first chance to hear full tracks from the new album, Reality Killed The Video Star (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/discography/albums/reality-killed-the-video-star).
A few weeks ago we ran a competition on RobbieWilliams.com to give away a pair of tickets to four lucky winners, and part of that prize was also the chance to share their sensational evening with readers of RobbieWilliams.com.
Read on to check out their tales of the evening:
By Annemarie and Hannah Phillimore
When I had the call to say I had won the tickets I was completely overwhelmed and very excited, I decided that the one person who would love to come was my 19-year-old daughter Hannah.
What a fantastic, amazing, awesome, exciting night! We arrived at the Roundhouse to join the inevitable long queue to see Robbie, collected our tickets and sparkly blue wristbands and there was Fearne Cotton, just waiting in the foyer. This evening was going to be so exclusive, how privileged were we to be part of this very special night. We now joined the queue again and waited for the doors to open, everyone was chatting and friendly, "How did you get tickets?", "Have you seen Robbie before?" Excitement rose as the doors opened and we made our way into the Roundhouse; a quick dash to the loo, we got rid of coats, we needed to get a good position.
On entering the main space we were overwhelmed; what a fantastic venue, we were going to be close, closer than I could ever have imagined. I have seen Robbie before at Knebworth, in Paris and at Roundhay Park but had to rely on the screens. The atmosphere was building as the clock ticked towards 8pm, celebrities were taking their seats in the circle and everyone was craning their necks and whispering: "Ant and Dec", "Will Young", "James Corden" and then there was us.
The lights dimmed and the orchestra struck the first chords of Bodies and the opera singer began, the crowd was ecstatic and chanting "Robbie, Robbie!". Then he appeared at the top of the steps, looking incredible, the crowd went wild with applause, Robbie was back! How we have all missed him.
We sang along to all the songs we knew, Come Undone brought the house down and I had by now almost lost my voice, it has to be one of my favourites. Robbie appeared to be totally relaxed and enjoying the whole thing, he is always so humble, apologising because we didn’t know the songs. We soon will, they were all excellent, I can’t wait for the album, no 'growers' amongst them.
I felt sorry for his girlfriend when he spoke about her, one thousand jealous eyes on you must be unnerving, but so pleased he is happy.
Singing Angels with Hannah once again made me cry, it was very special to share it with her. We both had the best time ever and Robbie needs to know that he brings so much pleasure and happiness to so many. It's always a truly memorable experience to see him perform.
Robbie we love you, tour soon.
By Nicki Cuffaro
WOW! Robbie at The Electric Proms was AMAZING! What a comeback gig! He definitely did not disappoint.
Knebworth had been phenomenal back in 2003, the last time I’d seen Robbie live at the very back of 125,000 people. It was a complete privilege to win this competition and go from his biggest ever gigs to potentially the most intimate of his live shows. When I’d got the phone call to tell me I’d won, part of me didn’t believe it – in fact I still wasn’t convinced until the confirmation email came through!
I knew immediately that I ought to take my good friend Lynne, who had attended numerous Take That concerts with me in the past. The next thought on my mind was OMG what am I going to wear????
The day of the Proms, I couldn’t concentrate on the working day, I just wanted to be there! Outfit was now decided...the electric blue dress! I had arranged to meet Lynne in Camden after work and when I arrived I was shocked at the amount of people that had beaten us to it in the queue. Security said that people had camped out over night from 8pm the previous day! This was confirmed by the line of duvets, lilos and various pizza boxes... I picked up our bright blue wristbands, tickets and congratulations letter from the box office and joined the end of the mile long queue to meet Lynne. The couple in front of us told us how they’d heard of Robbie earlier coming over to the gates to chat to the fans in the queue, really nice of him! Everyone was really friendly and in high spirits, excited and apprehensive on how the evening would go; would he sing mostly new songs... What would they be like? Would he sing Angels? Which celebs would be there?
On entering the Roundhouse, we immediately hit the bar before getting a good position. It was amazing! The venue seemed so much smaller than on screen, so intimate, we were more excited now! I couldn’t believe how near to the stage we managed to be, especially not being one of the campers. We were probably ten rows from the front with excellent view of the centre stage.
Bodies!!!! Robbie had arrived, the crowd went wild! We’d been teased by a long intro to the song, urging for him to appear. It truly was amazing to see him in the flesh, back up on the stage where he belongs, confident and pleasing the crowd – as well as looking mature and fantastic! Everyone’s arms were in the air and singing along. Robbie finished the first song and introduced the ‘musical genius', Trevor Horn. He went on to introduce us to some new material, Morning Sun, Deceptacon, You Know Me... mixing with some of the recognised songs Come Undone, Feel, No Regrets, Millennium and, of course, Angels! By special request I called my friend Debra back home during Angels and let her enjoy the live song from her living room!
One of the highlights came when Robbie sang his song Won’t Do That directly to his girlfriend, Ayda, on the balcony above, who we could see singing and dancing above enjoying herself. Being quite a Take That fan as well, it was great to hear him talk about the boys, in particular Gary, and how they’re back to being mates. It was also quite surreal to see the likes of Ant and Dec, James Corden, Fearne Cotton and Will Young also joining in with Robbie’s songs. Were we really in the same room??
Robbie’s final song, the cover of Video Killed The Radio Star, had everyone jumping up and down, a great buzz to end the evening on. On our way out of the venue there were all kinds of media desperate to find out how the performance had been. We had a blue microphone thrown in our faces from a French broadcaster who I thought was asking me about Robbie’s clothes……turned out he wanted to know how ‘close’ we’d been….ooops!
THANK YOU so much for allowing us to be part of such an amazing night!!! Welcome back Robbie Williams!!!!
By Donna Hickin
I was absolutely thrilled and suprised to receive a phone call last week saying I had won a pair of tickets to see Robbie Williams at the Roundhouse on Tuesday evening! Robbie's performance was flawless in my opinion, it was a great balance, introducing his new album with several old favourites too. I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed all of the new material, I can't wait for the album release on the 9th November.
Robbie was just as humorous and entertaining as he has always been and I felt he was very appreciative of his audience. Robbie's girlfriend was there and when he sang one of his new songs aimed at her, she must have felt very special indeed, he sang with great sentiment and sincerity (hard for his fans, but really rather beautiful!). You couldn't fail to be moved by that moment. Robbie's audience loved him, the venue was perfect. I last saw him in Leeds, so this felt far more intimate!
The album seems to be very different from the last one and I truly believe it will do fantastically well. Even if you are not a fan I think this concert showed the real Robbie and anyone that has ever doubted him will surely think again. His talent is unquestionable; Robbie doesn't just sing, he puts on a show. I was very privileged to be there, at an absolutely brilliant and unforgettable evening. He so deseves his success. Robbie has clearly found happiness in his private life and that came across in the new material that we heard on the night. I can't thank you enough for a wonderful evening!

Reality Killed The Video Star
Release Date: 9 November 2009
*** RobbieWilliams.com is streaming three tracks a day from Reality Killed The Video star this week - click on the Preview buttons below to listen to Morning Sun, Bodies and You Know Me today ***
The hugely anticipated Reality Killed The Video Star is released on 9th November 2009.
Most of the album, Reality Killed The Video Star, was written in Robbie’s home studio and was recorded in London. The album was produced by the legendary Trevor Horn, about whom Robbie says: "He's added something to the record that I haven't had on previous records – his genius".
Robbie collaborated with a number of people on the songwriting for the 13 tracks on the album, including Danny Spencer & Kelvin Andrews, Brandon Christy, Craig Russo, Richard Scott and Scott Ralph, Chaz Jankel, Guy Chambers and Fil Eisler.
Talking about the album, Robbie said; "I want people to feel elated, I want them to dance, I want them to forget about who they are and where they are for 50 minutes – and, within those 50 minutes of forgetting who they are, I also hope people relate to the songs. This is a record that I’m very proud of – I think it’s ****ing brilliant. I want it to be the record that, if people think of Robbie Williams, they go, “Yeah, Reality Killed The Video Star”.

Does anyone know why they are playing Morning Sun on radio here in Finland? You Know Me is the next single, right? So why Morning Sun is being played?
Hmm... strange...
maybe they already know that it's the third single .. (but still... it would be too early to play it on the radio, wouldn't it?)
or maybe they just love it so much that they cannot resist :D
I think Morning Sun is being released in some European countries....
It seems so. I think it's a real waste because Morning Sun would be a great single not only in some countries

Catch Up On Robbie's BBC Radio 2 Performance
9 Dec 2009
Yesterday morning Robbie stopped by BBC Radio 2 in London to give a very special performance at the extremely intimate Radio Theatre for Live In The Morning with Ken Bruce.
It was the kind of show many would dream of seeing Robbie at, with less than 200 lucky competition winners and specially invited people in the audience.
Robbie kicked off the morning with his latest single, You Know Me, before launching into the disco-tinged Starstruck which got everybody up on their feet dancing. The atmosphere was already electric and the audience were lifting the roof!
Awesome performances of Bodies and live anthem Feel followed, before Robbie left it to the audience to decide which song should be next and... Come Undone got the loudest vote.
The morning came to the perfect end when Robbie finished the set with all-time classic Angels, but it wasn't Angels as we know it, for one morning only it was renamed Ninjas!
But it wasn't all about music and listening to Robbie's hits being belted out by the superstar himself, there was also time between tracks for a chat with the audience and lucky fans even got to put their questions to him… it certainly was an unforgettable morning!
Wish you were there? Well we've got the next best thing… check out the photos we took of Robbie strutting his stuff on stage below. You can also visit the Gallery for the full collection.

UNICEF Haiti Appeal: Please Show Your Support
18 Jan 2010
Wherever you are in the world, you'll have no doubt read about the horrific earthquake that struck Haiti last week on 12th January.
The devastating disaster measured 7.0 on the Richter scale, causing a humanitarian crisis to unfold; schools have collapsed, family homes destroyed and hospitals overwhelmed by the large numbers of injured coming in for urgent and much needed medical assistance. Survivors are still being pulled out from the rubble nearly a week later.
Global children's charity UNICEF is working to ensure that the rights of children affected in Haiti are not forgotten and as a UNICEF UK ambassador, Robbie is asking for your support with this emergency appeal.
UNICEF is deploying necessary supplies to Jacmel and Port-au-Prince as quickly as possible to assist with recovery efforts including clean water and sanitation, therapeutic foods, medical supplies and temporary shelter. The organisation will be focusing on children who have become separated from their families to protect them from harm or exploitation.
Expert estimates suggest that 46 per cent of Haiti’s nearly 10 million people are under 18 years of age and so it's essential that the special needs of children for food, shelter and protection are factored in at the very outset of relief efforts. UNICEF are doing everything in its power to make sure these needs are met.
Please show your support for the children of Haiti by donating to UNICEF appeal… no donation is too small, or too big.
Donate online: Click here to donate now via the UNICEF website (http://www.unicef.org.uk/give/index.asp?page=32&thesource=haiti_robbie)
Donate via phone: Call 0800 316 5353 to donate

You can also get together with your friends and family to hold a fundraising event. If you're interested please click here for more information. (http://www.unicef.org.uk/regions/products/index.asp?product=21)
Thank you in advance for all your generous support, together we can help UNICEF to protect and care for the children of Haiti.

Try as I might, I can't understand why RWcom want us to vote for Robbie for this.  It's not for the best showman or the best performer, it's for the best frontman. Which by definition is the person at the front of a band.
The votes should be for people like Mick Jagger, Freddie Mercury, Axl Rose or Michael Hutchence. People whose stage performance and persona were so immense that it was difficult to look past them to the rest of the band, no matter how talented the musicians were.
Whilst I believe that Robbie can match them in stage presence and persona, he has never been a frontman

This is a highly irrelevant and already proving to be divisive award. Why is this being promoted by RW.com? Robbie is currently a solo artist. Whether or not he rejoins his former group Take That, he will not be the frontman in a group which is supposed to based on equality and fairness.
From the comments on the Q website, there is a general perception that the term "Frontman" relates to artists such as Michael Hutchence, Freddy Mercury, Mick Jagger. To support this would only provide evidence to the notion that Robbie is 'too big for his boots'. This site is supposed to support Rob, not provide weapons for his adversaries!

I don't get the Take That reference  They haven't been mentioned.
I can see where they are coming from in terms of stage presence and persona. I just don't think they've understood the category properly.
Robbie's had a regular band behind him for years - look how far back Gary Nuttall goes. He doesn't stand on stage on his own and sing. I don't get what the big deal is. Take That were never mentioned so why has that come into the equation?

Agreed - me thinks RW.com have misunderstood the whole thing, which is embaressing. If you look at all the comments, people are saying Freddie, Mick, Bono and even Brandon from the Killers - no one is mentioning Elvis or Michael Jackson - because they solo artists who had bands backing them, Rob is no different. It would make no sence for a solo artist to win a best frontman award. And I find it odd that is is on the homepage - surely it should all be about the BRITS tonight - can't see that even mentioned.

Keep It Up For Soccer Aid
12 Apr 2010
In the run up to Soccer Aid 2010, the man behind the it all, Robbie Williams, is setting you a challenge: to help the world’s poorest children and Keep it Up for Soccer Aid.
Returning from a visit to Haiti with UNICEF, where he made an appeal film which will be shown in full during the Soccer Aid match on Sunday 6 June, Robbie, a UNICEF UK Ambassador, said:
“Everyone knows I’m a massive football fan, and now I’m asking everyone to join Keep it Up for Soccer Aid. It’s really simple: do as many sponsored keepy uppys as you can and raise bucket loads of money to help make a real difference to the lives of kids all over the world, including the fantastic young people that I met in Haiti.”
So, what is a 'keepy-uppy'?
Keepy-uppy is the skill of using your feet, legs, knees, chest, shoulders and head to juggle a ball without allowing it to hit the ground. It's not easy, but it's a lot of fun trying! Check out Robbie below.

Once you're decided what your challenge will be, register it online at Soccer Aid's website.
For the pros (think Pele, Maradona, Beckham!)
1. Take on Robbie Williams’ challenge and set yourself a difficult keepy-uppy goal.
2. Make the challenge even harder by using a tennis ball!
3. Try to do as many keepy-uppys as you can blindfolded.
4. Practice for the World Cup and shoot sponsored penalties too.
5. Challenge yourself to an hour of keepy-uppys.
For the beginners (think Brooklyn Beckham, Kai Rooney!)
Challenge your friends or colleagues to Keep it Up for Soccer Aid and set yourself a fundraising target.
1. Organise the biggest keepy-uppy event your town has ever seen.
2. Do keepy-uppys in fancy dress.
3. Dribble a football from home to school or work.
4. Have a keepy-uppy competition at work with colleagues and charge an entry fee to help you reach your target.
5. Try keepy-uppys with a balloon.
6. Set a realistic target like five or ten keepy uppys in a row and get practising.
Keep it Up for everyone
If you aren’t a keepy-uppy pro or have two left feet there are lots of ways that you can get involved, get fit and raise funds. Why not set yourself a challenge by making a healthy living pledge and Keep it Up for Soccer Aid.
1. Give up chocolate / TV / alcohol for 6 weeks and keep it up!
2. Keep up walking, running or cycling to school or work for a whole month.
Remember to register your challenge online at www.socceraid.org.uk/keepitup.
When you register for Soccer Aid 2010, UNICEF UK will send you a t-shirt and fundraising pack to help you get started with your chosen challenge.
We want to see you - grab your camera!
Whether you’ve dressed up as a doughnut, done four thousand keepy-uppys or got your whole school or workplace involved, we want to see what you’ve been up to.
Upload your videos and photos along with a description of your challenge to YouTube and Flickr and Soccer Aid will share them with fellow fundraisers on the Keep it Up for Soccer Aid group and channel. Soccer Aid: Rest Of The World Squad News
3 May 2010
Watch out Robbie and the England XI: the Rest Of The World Soccer Aid 2010 squad have enlisted the help of a galaxy of superstars for this year's glitzy turf war, including Welsh movie star Michael Sheen, ex-Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann and Ronan Keating.
Sheen, who played legendary manager Brian Clough in the biopic The Damned United, will be joined on the Rest Of The World team by new recruits Boyzone singer Ronan Keating, TV presenter Gethin Jones, and actor James Kyson-Lee, who plays Ando in Heroes.
The squad, who will be managed by legendary Liverpool stars Kenny Dalglish and Ian Rush, also stars Gordon Ramsay, comedian Patrick Kielty, Westlife members Shane Filan and Nicky Byrne and cricketing legend Brian Lara. Ex-pros include Henrik Larsson and the outspoken ex-Arsenal goalie Jens Lehmann.
Last week we revealed the exciting news that superstar French footballer, Zinedine Zidane, will also be putting his golden boots back on for 90 minutes to help the Rest of the World XI against a star-studded England team which includes Euro '96 foursome Alan Shearer, Teddy Sheringham, David Seaman and Jamie Redknapp.
Those in the England squad adding a dash of celebrity sizzle to the proceedings include Robbie (of course!), Ben Shephard, Bradley Walsh, Jamie Theakston and Damian Lewis, plus Gavin and Stacey star James Corden will be the assistant manager.
In another intriguing on-the-pitch contest better suited to the boxing ring, the gloves are off as undefeated Welsh world champion Joe Calzaghe pits his wits against English light welterweight champ Ricky 'The Hitman' Hatton. Ding ding!

Interesting that Michael Sheen is ROW captain this time instead of Gordon Ramsey.... maybe Gordon is still injured after having to pull out of the London Marathon.
I think the ROW are on a mission this time. All to play for England..

I wondered about that
I didn't realise Gordon Ramsay had pulled out of the marathon though. I suppose they don't want the Captain having to limp off the pitch for a third year running.

The Sun Donates Over £370,000 To UNICEF's Haiti Fund (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs/the-sun-donates-over-%C2%A3370000-to-unicefs-haiti-fund)
5 May 2010
Back in January Robbie hit the studio (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs/robbie-joins-helping-haiti-charity-single-0) to record his part for the Everybody Hurts (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/storeFront?storeFrontId=143444&partnerId=2003&tduid=0eb1e8735f2983c0917921e5ca82271c&affId=1281415) single, recorded and released to raise funds for UNICEF's work in Haiti following the tragic earthquake that hit the country at the beginning of the year.
This week The Sun (http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/2810111/Helping-Haiti-Back-The-Suns-Helping-Haiti-appeal-by-donating-now.html) announced that it will donate half of the money from the the REM cover, which featured a whole host of superstars, including Kylie Minogue, Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey, Gary Barlow and Westlife to name a few, to UNICEF… that's a whopping £370,000!
Thanks to all of you who contributed by buying Everybody Hurts and supporting UNICEF and the children of Haiti. This amazing donation means that enough money has been raised to buy 12,500 'school in a carton' kits that would reach 500,000 children, costing £275000. On top of that, a further £100,000 could buy 90 huge 72m squared tents - that would enable 72 000 children to have somewhere to go to school.
If you haven't bought the single yet you can grab it from iTunes here (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/storeFront?storeFrontId=143444&partnerId=2003&tduid=0eb1e8735f2983c0917921e5ca82271c&affId=1281415).

Man Utd Star Ryan Giggs To Play At Soccer Aid (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs/man-utd-star-ryan-giggs-to-play-at-soccer-aid)
11 May 2010
RobbieWilliams.com
Welsh international and Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs will be gracing the hallowed Old Trafford turf once more this season when he teams up with Soccer Aid on 06 June in Manchester.
The former PFA Player of the Year and 2009's BBC Sports Personality Of The Year is the most decorated player in English football history, winning a colossal eleven Premier League titles, four FA Cups and two UEFA Champions Leagues with Manchester United. Beat that!
The wizard of the left wing will be joining fellow Welsh dragons Joe Calzaghe and team captain Michael Sheen on the Rest Of The World team, plus international football legends including Zinedine Zidane, Henrik Larsson and Jens Lehmann.
Commenting on his performance at Soccer Aid 2010, Giggs said:
“Over the years with UNICEF I’ve seen the huge challenges facing children and young people right across the world. I’ve visited children being affected by HIV and AIDS in Sierra Leone and learnt about the difficulties faced by children in accessing their basic rights, like the right to an education or basic healthcare.
"But I’ve also seen how, with commitment and support from the public, UNICEF is making a real difference. Soccer Aid might be just a football match, but this 90 minutes has the power to transform the lives of millions of children worldwide, with your help.
"Come down and watch the match, make a donation and help Soccer Aid 2010 extra special.”
The Rest Of The World team will be competing against a star-studded England XI in Manchester on the 6th June 2010, with ex-pros including Alan Shearer, Teddy Sheringham, Jamie Redknapp and David Seaman wearing the famous white Three Lions shirt alongside Robbie, Ben Shephard, Bradley Walsh, Jamie Theakston, Ricky Hatton and Damian Lewis.

Robbie's In 'The Squad' For 3 Lions 2010 (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs/robbies-in-the-squad-for-3-lions-2010)
13 May 2010
Three Lions, the greatest ever England song has been reinvented, reworked and re-recorded by Robbie, Russell Brand and a superstar line-up of friends.
Named 3 Lions 2010, an excited Robbie said of the single, "I've always been approached to write football songs but have always declined as I thought Three Lions could never be beaten - so I am really happy to be part of this record. I am counting down the days until the start of the World Cup."
The song, originally a fan anthem during Euro 96 in England, certainly ticks all the right boxes: not only does it feature a certain Mr. Williams, it also was recorded at the world-famous Abbey Road Studios, includes a full orchestra and choir and was produced by legendary Trevor Horn - who, of course, also produced Reality Killed The Video Star. (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/shop/music/albums/reality-killed-the-video-star-deluxe-edition)
Horn said of the footy single: “It had to be done – I am either the brave one or the foolish one who said I will have a go… I did it for England!”
Staying true to its roots, 3 Lions 2010 features Ian Broudie, of The Lightning Seeds, and comedy duo David Baddiel and Frank Skinner, the three original creators of the 1996version.
Broudie explained that the English fans are the reason behind The Squad re-recording the classic, saying "the public really wanted a new version of 3 Lions and after 14 years it felt like the right time to have a new recording but it had to be just right. When I hear this version… I can't wait for the World Cup to start!"
The single also features both The Official England Band and fans from The Official England Supporters Club, as well commentary from the inimitable John Motson and rousing, hair-on-end operatics by supreme soprano Olivia Safe.
Take a listen to a short clip of 3 Lions 2010 here (http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/2972449/Russell-Brand-and-Robbie-Williams-on-World-Cup-anthem.html)
3 Lions 2010 is released on 16th May 2010, so be sure to fire up iTunes this Sunday to download your copy and then head back to RobbieWilliams.com early next week for more 3 Lions 2010 news!

Sherringham and Shearer are a great combination but ROW seem to have three times as many players as England and far more football stars. :D Doesn't it seem like every new player announced is playing for ROW team? LOL
It's going to be quite hard for England I think unless they have David Beckham waiting in the wings to come on. :D
Even Jamie Rednapp's not playing this time is he?

Yeah, I'm suprised England haven't got more legend names than that.
But isn't that the problem we have in real life with the England football squad? Not enough English players good enough to play in the premier league so when it comes to picking an England squad we're scratching around trying to find talent. I don't know whether other National sides have the same problem?
I've tried thinking for several weeks who potentially Robbie could come up with as an England legend but apart from Lineker, Gascoigne and Peter Beardsley, I'm struggling.

Soccer Aid Photos: Team Meeting (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs/soccer-aid-photos-team-meeting)
3 Jun 2010
Robbie joined stars including Michael Sheen, James Corden and Woody Harrelson earlier this week as the Soccer Aid players met up at a glitzy London hotel ahead of a gruelling few days at their training camp in Surrey.
Meeting for the first time, the two squads of players gathered for a bit of pre-match banter with team captains Robbie and Michael Sheen posing for a few snaps.
Robbie, who also performed at Soccer Aid 2006, commented: "I am so excited that Soccer Aid is back, and at Old Trafford once again. I have such amazing memories of my last game.”
“It will be a great time for football, with World Cup fever at boiling point, and there's never been a better time for us to show our support for UNICEF given the recent tragedies affecting children around the world. I hope the whole country will join me and support this fantastic event."
Welshman Sheen, star of The Damned United in which he played legendary football manager Brian Clough, has a few cunning tactics of his own to outsmart Robbie and the England boys, saying he aims to "put the ball in the opposition’s goal as many times as possible!" Easier said than done, Michael!

Robbie's Diary Of UNICEF Trip To Haiti
5 Jun 2010
RobbieWilliams.com
http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af167/therobbiewilliamssiteukau/Picture5-8.png
The Haiti earthquake on 12 January 2010 devastated the country; killing over 220,000 people, injuring more than 300,000 and affecting three million lives.
With almost 1.3 million Haitians still living in emergency shelters, Robbie spent two days in Jacmel, the devastated heart of Haiti, for UNICEF to meet some of the country's worst affected residents.
Read Robbie's heartfelt diary below...
DAY ONE:
I landed in Port au Prince first thing in the morning on Thursday 8th April. I was anxious, what would it be like, what would we see, would I say the right things.
We were met by the UNICEF team and immediately started our drive out of the capital towards the town of Jacmel, which was where we were going to be based for the next couple of days.
As we drove out of Port-au-Prince the road became more and more narrow and suddenly we were driving through beautiful mountanous countryside, but everything was flattened, there were heaps of rubble everywhere.
Somehow in all the horror of all the news I hadn’t remembered that Haiti is part of the Carribean, and the sea views and greenery were a surprise. As we drove towards Jacmel the scale of the earthquake hit me at every turn. Every single village and town that we passed were literally flattened, hardly a building left standing and yet more rubble still everywhere. At one point we passed the Korean army with their trucks clearing the mountain roads....apparently they had been there for weeks working their way accross the island so that traffic could pass.
After about three hours of windy roads crossing the mountains we arrived in Jacmel. Jacmel is the same distance from the epicentre of the earthquake as Port-au-Prince so has also been badly affected, with alot of the town completely destroyed.
We joined up with the Soccer Aid film crew and also Val, another of the UNICEF staff, who was a Haitan herself and, horrendousley, lost many of her own friends and cousins in the earthquake.
I was in Haiti to make an appeal film that will be shown during Soccer Aid on 6th June. Since the first kick-off on ITV 1 in 2006, nearly £4 million has been raised for UNICEF, helping children all over the world. I’ve met a few of these children myself – four years ago I went to South Africa for the first Soccer Aid to meet a young family of children who had lost their parents to HIV. They were getting support and assistance so they could stay together at home and continue at school. All the kids I have met around the world with UNICEF just love going to school.
What’s great about Soccer Aid is that all the money raised from the donations during the programme goes back to the very country that is shown in the appeal films. So, with that in mind we were all on a mission to make the best possible film whilst we were out in Haiti so that we could raise as much money as possible to help the children we met.
As we walked around Jacmel on the first day, its hard to explain in words the massive and devastating impact that the earthquake clearly had – it’s a whole different league from what I had imagined I would see. It was almost unbelievable, like a movie set. Cars completely crushed – some still poking out from underneath the buildings that have fallen on top of them.
I discovered a new language being used to talk about the affect of the earthquake, like when people talked about a building being ‘pancaked’ where its walls have completely collapsed and the roof has hit the floor. Other buildings have massive cracks down the side which is such a worry, as people are so desperate to get back into their homes to collect possessions that they sometimes go into buildings that are dangerously unsafe – just the day before I arrived another building collapsed, killing two more people.
Jacmel was quiet and empty. The areas that before the earthquake would have been full of market stalls and kids were now completely empty as everyone who lived and worked there had lost everything, including in many cases, their lives or those of their loved ones. Each building left standing had either a red dot (condemned - to be demolished) a yellow dot (with repairs could be deemed safe for return) or a black dot (considered safe) – a simple mark that decided the fate of family’s homes. Such dark symbols for a community to live with, it was like the plague, it seemed like symbols of death and despair everywhere.
But it was Patrice - a really cool guy from Jacmel who was our translator for the trip - who pointed out the saddest marking of all. In some kind of stamp on most buildings on the street was ‘Adieu Samson’ and ‘Adieu Tamara’. He told me that Samson and Tamara were important people in the community who had died in the earthquake and the stamps were homemade attempts to show how much they were missed. There was also stamps and graffiti on houses saying ‘I miss you x’. It was just so so sad.
After seeing the deserted and destroyed streets I wanted to understand what had happened to the millions of people that had survived the quake but had lost everything, where were they living now? So the UNICEF team took me to the main football pitch of the town – normally a sight that would be the highlight of any trip for me – but this time I really wasn’t expecting what I found. The whole pitch is now a temporary ‘home’ for more than 3000 families whose homes were destroyed in the earthquake. A sea of tents, each housing 6 or 8 families inside them
The camp was called Pinchinat. It was very cramped, muddy, without any shade, with bad smells and only the most basic toilet facilities. Thousands of families are living on top of each other, most of whom two months ago would have had their own home, their own space for their children to play in. Their lives completely destroyed in 37 seconds.
I was told how, when the earthquake struck, people had just run to any open space they could find, where they would be safe and where there would be space to sleep; Football pitches, school yards, pavements – these are homes now and will be for a long time I think.
Within minutes of being in the camp I knew that the very, very least we could all do was to try and make Soccer Aid bigger than its ever been before, to let people know how awful this is for so many people and to try and raise money to help them. It is wrong that children and their families are living like this and we all need to something to put it right. Thousands of people are living without basic things that we take so for granted every day and at growing risk from violence and abuse, which is scary.
In one corner of the camp, near where the food supplies were being handed out, I met Denise, a small nine year old little girl who lives with her mum and two brothers in the camp. She was sitting on a cardboard box with her brother and they were both very quiet and shy, but told me that their house was destroyed by the earthquake and their mum also lost her job as the shop that she worked in also collapsed. Denise told me that she had been at home during the earthquake in their second floor apartment, doing her homework. When the house started shaking they all ran out just in time, before the walls collapsed and fell down. They lost everything. All her toys, clothes, everything. Now the whole family sleep in a tiny tent – about 4ft by 4ft surrounded by others living in the same way. The only time she began to smile was when I asked her if she was going to school – yes, she was back at the school that she loved. Her beautiful face was so smiley when she started talking about it, so I wanted to go and visit her at school the next morning.
We spent a bit longer in the camp that evening, talking to different young people about what had happened to them and what they wanted for the future. Person after person told a similar story of loss and sadness, how their lives had been completely turned around, destroyed, in the blink of an eye. It was hard to imagine and so hard to hear.
Haiti has always been known as a poor country, but in actual fact, you know, for most people, they had their own lives, they were doing their thing – they had a roof over their head, they were doing their best to earn a living and care for their children. And now they have lost everything. They are back to the beginning, with nothing but the clothes they are wearing and relying on the support of international aid agencies to survive.
Continued below
DAY TWO:
First thing – we went , as promised, to visit Denise’s school. I loved it. The school is one of the hundreds of temporary ‘tented’ schools that have been set up to replace the schools that have been destroyed and make sure that the kids can get back to school as soon as possible. I would never have understood the real importance of this without seeing it. I was so struck by how immaculate they all looked – their families with so little and living in tents and having lost everything still sent their kids to school in their uniforms and they all loved being smart and ready for classes.
Unlike yesterday, Denise and her friends were happy, running around and loving the fact that they have a safe place to play, and to learn. Their faces said it all. We arrived during morning break and within seconds I was being dragged into a skipping game. I was pretty good until my dodgy knees gave up, so I edged out as gracefully as a skipping singer can.
Whilst we were there, UNICEF was delivering some ‘schools in a box’ – literally a box which contains everything that’s needed to teach 40 pupils – from notebooks to pens, rulers, felt tips, to inflatable globes, portable blackboard and chalks. It sounds almost too simple but the delivery of thousands of these boxes all over Haiti is meaning that children can get back into the schools that they love, continue their education, and get some normality back into their lives, and get out of the horrific camps that they are having to live in. I saw that the box also contained a lot more skipping ropes, which went down pretty well with the girls, who quickly dragged me back into the skipping thing again.
As we unpacked the schools-in-a box, the UNICEF staff told me that the teachers are receiving special training to help them work with the children to deal with the trauma that they have been through. Clearly the earthquake was hugely confusing for children – some of the younger ones thought the world was coming to an end – so the support they’re getting now is critical.
The school was the most positive experience I had during my two days in Haiti. If Soccer Aid money can help make sure that every child in Haiti gets the chance to go back to school and smile like Denise did, that will be a fantastic, fantastic result.
After leaving the school, we went back to the camp at Pinchinat to see some of the initial, life saving work that was done in the immediate aftermath of the earthquake. UNICEF took immediate action after the quake, setting up feeding centres, providing clean water and setting up temporary schools as soon as possible. I saw the medical tents already set up in the camps, and the ‘baby tent’, where mothers can go for support with their young babies and get everything from nutritional help to clothes and nappies.
At the baby tent, which was right at the corner spot on the pitch, I met Lucette, an elegant lady who I’d guess was in her 50’s or 60’s and was holding a tiny baby.
I sat with her as she told me what happened to her and her family. Her story shocked me, how could she cope? Her grandaughter, Mary Michelle, was born on the day of the earthquake, 12th January. First thing in the morning, the first grandaughter for the family. That lunchtime her parents brought her home from hospital but that very afternoon the earthquake hit and, horrifically, both her parents – Lucette’s daughter and son-in-law - died.
Lucette told me that she only had time to run in the house and grab Mary Michelle out of her cot by her ankles before the house collapsed, with her daughter and son-in-law inside it. She spent the next few days finding anything she could, foodwise, to give to the baby to keep it alive now that it no longer had its mother. Then she was told about the baby tent – and since that moment she has visited every day to get baby formula milk and to get the baby weighed and monitored. She told me so proudly that Mary Michelle is now growing and healthy. Without the support from that baby tent, this little girl would not be alive.
When we finished talking, we walked to her current ‘home’, which was just around the corner from where we were sitting. It was the strangest and saddest sight I’ve ever seen. Because her house was destroyed she had basically no choice but to squat on a welding yard, whose owners have said she can stay in the short term. The tiniest little baby girl lying amongst piles of metal in a noisy smelly workyard....so unbelievably wrong.
Mary Michelle has been kept alive because of food and support that she has been given, paid for by someone miles away who will never realise that they have saved a life. But the overwhelming feeling I had when I left was that this is just the beginning.
Both her and her grandmother, like thousands of families in Haiti, will need so much more support for so many years – to keep the baby healthy, to find them a more permenant home and eventually to get Mary Michelle into school. That’s what Soccer Aid can help to do.

Soccer Aid Photos: Suit Fitting
6 Jun 2010
Robbie and the rest of the Soccer Aid lads took a break from their hectic training schedule to get suited and booted for Sunday's big match.
Looking smoking hot on the balcony of the team hotel, Robbie joined fellow England players television presenter Jamie Theakston and boxing champion Ricky Hatton after their suits were cut and made to measure.
The suit, provided by Marks & Spencer, is the same fit worn by the current squad of England players at this summer's World Cup Finals in South Africa. Let's hope that's a good omen for all concerned!

Soccer Aid 2010: England 2-2 Rest Of The World (6-7 Pens) (http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs/soccer-aid-2010-england-2-2-rest-of-the-world-6-7-pens)
7 Jun 2010
Robbie teamed up with celebrities and football legends at Manchester's Old Trafford yesterday to raise money for UNICEF at Soccer Aid 2010… and they sure made it a day to remember.
The game got off to a thrilling start at a sold-out Old Trafford, with Liverpool legend Jamie Redknapp hitting the bar in the opening five minutes and a certain Mr Williams giving away a penalty for chopping up Westlife's Nicky Byrne inside the 18-yard box. Luckily for Robbie, who received deafening applause from the fans with every touch of the ball, Byrne dusted himself off to take the penalty but couldn't beat David Seaman. The ex-England goalkeeper expertly stopped the shot with his legs before receiving a relieved hug from Robbie for getting him off the hook!
It was Redknapp who opened the scoring just before half time with a neat move on the edge of the box with ex-Newcastle goal machine Alan Shearer. The pair linked up with a tidy one-two, with Shearer playing the ball over Finnish centre-back Sami Hyypia and chef Gordon Ramsay's heads for Redknapp to tuck the ball home.
Following the half time interval, England struck again with Teddy Sheringham doubling their lead and celebrating with a Klinsmann dive towards the corner flag, much to the delight of the jubilant fans in the Stretford End.
Undeterred, The Rest Of The World team, who looked a little jaded before England's second goal, sprung into action and replied with a quick-fire goal of their own. Following a Luis Figo corner, ex-Liverpool star Hyypia out-leaped the English defence, which included GTMV presenter Ben Shepherd and Robbie's best mate Jonny Wilkes, to head past second-half sub Jamie Theakston in the net and pull a goal back for Kenny Dalglish's team.
Theakston pulled out all the stops to keep England ahead but with the referee's stopwatch ticking, The Rest Of The World team left it late to deliver a knockout blow to England's hopes of retaining the Soccer Aid trophy as World champion boxer Joe Calzaghe bundled the ball into the net and take the game to an exciting penalty shoot-out.
The ex-pros were ineligible to take participate in the penalties, so the pressure rested firmly on the shoulders of the celebrities! Wilkes got England off to a promising start with his strike, though a catalogue of misses from both sides, including a skied effort by Robbie, took the match to a nail-biting sudden death climax.
After looking likely winners earlier in the match, it all went horribly wrong for England as Dominic Cooper's miss meant Woody Harrelson simply had to score from the spot to secure the first ever win for The Rest Of The World XI. Sure enough, Harrelson slotted past Theakston to win it for the boys in blue and it was Welshman Michael Sheen who lifted the silverware instead of England captain Robbie. Boo!
Thank You!
Thanks to all of you who donated and helped raise money during Soccer Aid 2010, UNICEF have received over £2 million worth of pledges! These funds will change the lives of thousands of children all across the world and it couldn't have been achieved without your support. If you've not yet donated it's not too late...

The duet between the two superstars is set for release on 4th October later this year and working on this track is the first time the two have written and recorded together since Robbie left Take That back in 1995, that's 15 years ago!
Shame is the first single to be released from In And Out Of Consciousness: The Greatest Hits 1990-2010, Robbie's 39-track album of greatest hits from the last 20 years.
Spread over two CDs, this is the definitive collection of Robbie hits celebrating his impressive career to date; 57 millions album sold, 11 millions singles sold, seven UK No.1 albums (making him the biggest selling solo artist in the UK), a Guinness World Record for fastest ever ticket sales… it's no wonder that he picked up the Outstanding Contribution To Music award at the esteemed BRIT Awards in London earlier this year!
Speaking about this forthcoming album and working with Gary Barlow again, Robbie said: “It’s incredible to listen to the album and realise that it’s already been 20 years of making music and playing gigs. And the great thing about the album is that it’s not only a celebration of my past but also a bridge to the future. The fact that part of the future includes a name from my past makes it all the more poignant for me”.
To be released on CD and DVD, In And Out Of Consciousness will be out on 11th October 2010.

In And Out Of Consciousness Tracklisting And Cover Revealed
http://i631.photobucket.com/albums/uu36/tinab_62/Rob/RW_GH2.jpg
30 Jun 2010
In And Out Of Consciousness: The Greatest Hits 1990-2010 celebrates Robbie's incredible 20 years in music with 39 of his biggest and best songs on two action-packed discs, and now we can exclusively reveal the gorgeous album cover and fantastic tracklisting!
The image for the cover was captured by photographer Julian Broad, who also snapped Reality Killed The Video Star album cover and Bodies single sleeve. Shot on a beautiful day in May in Malibu, California, we think you'll agree Robbie's looking hot... It's no wonder he needed to cool-down by the sea! Scroll down to see the cover in all its glory.
Tracklisting
Prepare to take a trip down memory lane with Robbie as the journey begins in present day with two new songs, Robbie's beautiful duet with Gary Barlow, Shame, which is also released as a single on 4th October 2010, and the feel-good track Heart And I, another fantastic Williams/Barlow co-written song.
The album then takes us backwards through the decades, featuring all the colossal songs from Robbie's eight solo studio albums over the years: Reality Killed The Video Star, Rudebox, Intensive Care, Escapology, Swing When You're Winning, Sing When You're Winning, I've Been Expecting You and Life Thru A Lens. The album is rounded off with a sprinkling of Take That gold dust, featuring Everything Changes, the boyband's fourth consecutive single to go straight in at number one in the UK way back in 1994. The newspaper the sun, continues to give all the latest news of Robbie.
Why? Robbie not want to give their latest news here at his official site , maybe he thinks we will not be angry, he does not want us to think that he comes here when, he need to display or sell something, and if it is true many people think so
Robbie we are here for you, always waiting for nice news.
