I can tell you now Leanne it will be jeans or pants for me...im not a dress person anyway....my legs aren't that sexy as they used to be so i like to cover up...:rolleyes:

well, if I get tickets to the metro I will also be up there too..I'll have to start sussing out who will be where when we know whats happening..It will be heaps better if we are all up there that extra day, we could have coffee on the thursday morning instead of running about at the airport and stuff..:D yeah, its beginning to sound like a great party kinda thing..

My friend and I will be at the F1 too! I haven't changed my flights yet till the Wednesday (I have some superstitious thing going on with that) but when I get the Metro tickets (and I will get them, lol) I'll change it straight away. I've booked the flights with Frequent Flyer points so I'm checking daily to make sure there are still flights available for a last minute change... oh ... .the nerves!!
Anxious, but excited and doing lots of hoping in anticipation of us being successful for the Metro gig. Tomorrow week this time we will all be out of our misery, or in misery, one of the two anyway.

Tinab you're getting ahead of yourself lol. It's Tuesday the 10th today and tickets go on sale on Thursday the 19th so it's not tomorrow week it's an extra long drawn out day to wait.....see what ROBBIE does to us....none of us can think straight lol. I'll be in total agony if I miss out.

You are in for such a treat!! Rob is the most amazing entertainer, that's why his song Let Me Entertain You, is soooo apt!! Have got so many things crossed that I get my one ticket. I've never been to a concert on my own before. Seen Robbie three times over here, but will be travelling up to Sydney on my own - so looking forward to meeting other diehard Robbie fans up there!!
Here's looking forward to the celebrating that we are all going to have next Thursday at 9.15am!! Keep thinking positive, that's the only thing that's keeping me going right now!!! LOL
So....can't remember what I've read here...what's everyone wearing? I'm frocking it for the ARIA's not a ball gown but just a nice dress! It's going to be an amazing night :-)
Im probably wearing pants and a nice top....i don't do dresses anymore...lol....i think the weather is going to play a big part too as to what i wear....at the moment shorts and tshirt sounds great....;)

I'm not sure about AC/DC being there - doesnt seem like their sort of gig. I havent been able to find any official info on it either.
I heard AC/DC ages ago on a music site...then they didn't mention it again!
But I think it may be a surprise on the night!
Will be a great night.....can't wait to see Robbie perform!

the train line is run privately to the rest of the sydney network, thats why its so damn expensive..the buses run at regular intervals and really, they are the cheaper mode of transport..
Unfortunately I am at work that day in the morning, otherwise I do a couple of airport runs, but logistically it would be really difficult ... and the Wednesday is a shocker for me ... will be at work till at least 4pm. I won't be down the front anyway, will probably be on crutches!!

well if you are in a wheelchair I would wheel you right down to the front..but how would it all work..lordy, something else to panic about now..My wish is that the operation is straightforward and that you are able to attend Tina..:)
Just don't bother uncrossing anything from Thursday and the ticket preying ... keep them crossed on Friday too that everything will be uncomplicated.

It will be OK and thanks for the thoughts minime. Just don't have a drunk, unregistered driver hit you head on at high speed when you are 19. You spend the rest of your life being put back together. 27 years on and still more surgery!!! Never ending! I am kinda over it .....

You poor thing, I do hope that all goes well. Am sure that the fans will all take loads of photos and "stuff", which could be posted online, so we can make you feel that you aren't missing out too much. Listen to me, I am doing as my 6 yr old has told me to believe in myself or it won't come true, I'm sounding if I'd got my ticket already - if only. Am soooo over this waiting game, but that's the least of your worries!!
Keep smiling. I still think that the idea of a wheelchair would be good though - you could have a great view.

I didn't realise you had been through all this, you must be such a strong person going through all this and as you say 27 years on and still more surgery.
I really hope your operation goes well and you're able to recover in time for the metro gig, just keep up your positive attitude and I'm sure you will be.

I doubt that I will be queuing to get to the front, any where is fine with me as long as I am there.
As time draws near for ticket buying I am feeling less confident by the minute even though I have dotted all the i's and crossed all the T's, thats all I can do besides HOPE!
I'm excited Arias and hopefully metro too next week :D

Not long to go everyone until the Arias! I'm slowly getting my excitement back. Which of you are in Section A? I'll keep an eye out! I'll be at Formule 1 too, so I will see some of you there no doubt!
Anyone going to the red carpet? I think its going to be pretty full on (busy) there!
We always did say if we missed out on Metro tickets we still have the Arias to look forward too....some peeps aren't going to either.
I know Tinab is in Section A can't remember which row though....she's out of action for a few days due to having surgery on Friday....hoping to hear from her soon and fingers crossed all went well. Myself and Susie are in Section C.
Looking forward to meeting everyone...its going to be a hoot :D

I have a feeling he will - but I have nothing to support this 'feeling', lol.
As for cameras, they say no flash photography ... but concert venue always say that. I guess we wont know how strict they are about this until we're there.

FEK ME! wot a corker of a performance at the Arias Sunny Jim......really showed them hows its done, good on ya!....would have loved to have been part of The Metro typed my arse off but missed out on tickets...heard you went off well done smashin news......take it easy!
Rob was great at the ARIA's. He took about 30 minutes through the red carpet, took lots of time, chatting and having photos etc.
As far as the performance was concerned, he came out and stood centre stage, the lighting rig was then lowered around him to his waist. He was bopping around inside and smiling and looking around. He then dropped his pants and flashed his bottom!!!! I was in D section and was sitting side on so I saw it!!! Cheeky chappie!!!
The band were directly behind me. Rob on centre stage and orchestra on the stage on the other side. He again sounded and looked great ... all parts of him ... :o:o
Thanks Rob for an amazing couple of days! It has been fantastic!

I enjoyed myself at the Arias and the redcarpet :D I didn't get Robbies Autograph I wasn't at the front it was a bit hard with people in front of me . It was great to see robbie close up. :)

so we could get him near us i was so lucky to ger his autograph now i have to frame
it and buy another cd/dvd so i can use it
