Looking at the pictures of Robbie doing his latest interviews..I'd like to know where is his new image he was supposed to be having..come on PR people and the team behind him, why has Robbie got that old quiff back :confused:
it looks dated, and silly. Au natural Rob please.:D

Not too keen on the hair either Jackie...then again Robbie is a bit old fashioned anyway unless he has a personal dresser at his beck & call very five mins....he has been wearing the same clothes for so I guess I am not surprised tbh....;) all we need now in the 'Emperial coat ' to arrive back on the scene...you know !!! the long black ones which I hate with a vengence....:rolleyes:
The only saving grace with the hair is that is that the style actually fits in with the girls hairstyles in the picture as they both have similar bits on the top of their heads as well....maybe that is why he went for that one ' or someone did ' :D

I can't believe that I am joining in a discussion about Robbie's hair, but as it's one of the more sensible topics on this forum..........:D
His current music image is electro pop 80's, so I suppose the clothes and hairstyle fit in with that. I agree though, that quiff is awful.
It will be interesting to see what he wears on stage when we eventually see a live performance.

yeah, I know what you mean about the Morrissey look, but we had that in 2005/2006 and I wasn't expecting the same look in 2009. I am well disappointed.
I mean he ditched Taylor Herring and went with another PR company, can anyone remember the name of it???? which I presume is costing a flipping fortune and what do they come up with, the same hairstyle.
I thought Robbie looked fantastic in the 'Robbie is Back' clips and that is what I thought I would be getting.I don't want to see him back on stage with the 'Tin Tin' look..Robbie is a good looking bloke without all that hair dressing imo.
and thanks Ra Ra Radio, Geraldine and Linda for giving me your opinions on it. My opinion is.....sack the stylist.

I feel your pain Jackie, I really do. Tintin is never going to be a good look. I don't even like it on Morrissey and I love him :rolleyes:
I'm hoping it was just for the Pro Sieben promo and then it disappeared. They probably had a bucket of water ready backstage to throw over it.

do you really think he listens to a stylist tho?? honestly? i mean i know he would for video & photo shoots, but like for that tv interview - maybe he just got up out of bed had a look throgh his wardrobe & thought "right im gonna where this today" or maybe he decided what he was wearing the night before? And then he turns up at the hotel to do his interview & the make up artist/stylist etc just styled his hair into the quiff? or maybe he had his hair flat & then put too much gel on it so decided to do the quiff himself?!! or maybe he actually likes it?!!!

I prefer him au natrel. Or with short hair. But I don't mind the quiff as long as we're getting to see him, that's great.
I'm not sure the stylist knows what look they're aiming for. Maybe Robbie isn't sure himself and the stylist is guided by him. Maybe Ayda likes the quiff or maybe he feels he's being 'Robbie' when he has the quiff.
I'd be interested in who his new PR company is. Taylor Herring still have him on their website as if he's still their client. I love it when PR companies do that (my old one used to - funny when the ex client calls up telling them to take it off the site!)

Totally agree Susi, it should be about the music but it isn't totally. I too hate the quiff, it does absolutely nothing for him other than make him look old.
The only crumb of comfort I'm taking is that he hasn't actually had it cut, it's still fairly long and the interviews (other than Pro 7) were done on the same day. Hopefully he went home, watched them and come to the same conclusion as us.
If he turns up on UK TV with that quiff I really will be disappointed. :eek:

of course it is about the music, but at the end of the day for me to enjoy his music I want to be able to enjoy looking at him while he is doing it. And with that quiff I find myself being distracted away from his singing because the style is so awful..I will go mad if he appears on UK TV for the first time sporting that hairstyle, lol.
What attracts me about Robbie is the whole package, along with his music..why does he have to opt for a hairstyle that does nothing for him. Would I be wrong in thinking it is even more accentuated than before.. :confused:
I had high hopes of a rock 'n'roll or a suave Robbie with this new image he was suppose to be having. He can have any other style he likes, short, blonde, long (oh, yes please :D) streaks, shaved, but please, no quiff :(
Sorry Guys,I seem to be in the minority here,I think he looks gorge with the quiff far better than that flat so called Nat look.
I think he looks great in the Bodies video....loving the hair and style. Watched Robbie on Rove, an Australian TV show last nite and it felt like we were back 2005/6...don't get me wrong love the look but i thought this was suppose to be a comeback....not a flashback????

I didn't mind his hair so much in the Mr Paparazzi photos. It was just sticky up, well quite a lot sticky up.
It's when it's rolled at the front that I have to avert my eyes. Like it was in the RTL Boulevard show from the Intensive Care era. Hideous doesn't even come into it. And when it unravelled!!!!
I have a feeling his stylists don't get a look in as far as the image in the interviews go Jackie. He mentioned the hair briefly in one of the translated interviews. I understood him to mean that he feels in popstar mode with the hair like that. I guess it gives him confidence to be "Robbie" :D

He looks amazing atm........ and then he does that hair, I can't stop focusing on it and thinking WHY?????????????? Luckily for us he changes his mind all the time, so hopefully that hair will be history soon.

Like Susi says, the rest is amazing and I'm really enjoying the interviews as they're progressing. I think they are getting more interesting and amusing as he gains confidence each day. I loved the Paris one. :D

well, that is what I am meaning, he looks lush with the right hairstyle. So.don't you just wish you could ruffle that quiff up a bit and make it a 'bed mess' hair day. :D

But he hired an image company and I don't understand why he went from the styling of the 'Bodies' video, which I think he looks gorgeous with that hair, especially in the beginning, to adopting the same hairstyle he had back in 2005.:confused:

Yes, there are some artist who "creat" their identity new for every tour and album. If an artist do change or prefer to go ahead with his "own" style, this should be the personal decision of the artist.

It hasn't been aired yet. It's Friday Night With Jonathan Ross and it's on tomorrow at 10.35pm (British time) on BBC1.
However I prefer "the IC look" (oh, these coats/jackets) I think current style corresponds with content/style of RKTVS. And I quite like it.

Dont we see a maturing in Robbie;s persona recently, and the talk of marriage and children.
I think this is what Robs needs now at this time in his life, and the closure with Take That just puts everything on the right track for him, would love to see a little Robbie or Roberta in the not too distant future, think he will be a good dad.xx:)

I sure hope he looks like that when he is on Ant & Dec. I don't know what Australia did, but he looked gorgeous there. Whoever thought up the idea of the 'sophisticated' Robbie I wonder, it made him look older.
I liked his choice of clothes too, the jacket and the jeans, they fitted :cool: and I liked the styling of the tee too, just sort of got to get him to ditch those brown shoes lol :rolleyes:
