The new website looks really good. Great improvement from the previous one. Not as colourful, but easier to handle, and without the flash overkill. Good job.

But, to be honest, when this big countdown appeared, a lot of people have expected something else.

Rob isn't famous for his websites, and we are not here because we are adoring the world's greatest web designer. He's a singer, a showman, an enteratainer, and a bloody good one! And at the moment it seems like he's just entertaining himself, by taking the piss out of his fans. An album or a tour should have been given this much attention, not just a new website.

A new album is not mere a songs to listen to, it is rather something that will push you from behind to keep moving forward and enable you to pass your miserable time.

I dont think he would have gone to all this trouble with the news fancy website if there wasnt gonna be an album or a tour lined up, hes not "taking the piss" hes probably just adding to the suspense! look how many unofficial website went giddy with excitement because of a timer lol it would have been far to easy and predictable to have announced the album and tour when the timer hit 00:00:00:00. Everybody seems at first dissapointed thats theres been no news but at the same time getting more excited for the news that we've all been waiting for! personally i think its a very clever thing rob an his team have done ;)

I've heard rumours of a new album coming VERY soon, so let's not fret about it! As Griff964 said, he wouldn't have gone to all the trouble of updating the website if it's not going to be followed up very soon with an announcement.

Think they wanted to get this website sorted so that they could make an announcement properly to the fans, as the RW.com website has been criticised in the past for not announcing properly to fans via website first.

I'm sure it won't be long!! :p

I would defently love a new album! that's for sure, but it would be great with a new tour too!! 'cause I have never been to a Robbie Williams Concert before, and I dream about it everyday :) I have seen a lot of the shows on the TV, but that's absolutly NOT the same!! :p

i agreed..its understandable that this new album is very important for him so...give him sometime to manage..i believe right time do the right thing...may be it will give us a stun surprise..

It's 3 years since the last album - isn't that a lot of time to manage a new one? ;)
I do hope it will give us a stun surprise, but the more information is leaking inofficially about the album, the less a surprise it will be. Some websites already have a name and a release date for Rob's album. The longer he waits to give official information, the less people will be surprised about it.

It's embarrassing when an artist's website is the last to release information on this artist - that's why I was hoping the album title and release date would be annonced after the end of the countdown. If they wait another 2 weeks we all will have read the album title and release date somewhere else.

Play.com usually have these pre-orders before it is even confirmed the album is actually coming out. About a year ago a pre-order of the new swing-album "Let's Swing Again" was also possible, I guess they've now refunded the received money as it seems unlikely to come out anymore. But I've got a feeling this time they will be right about it as it seems the album really is coming out :)

As for the new album or a tour, it is quite obvious he'll do a tour after the new album has been released, so I'll fly the flag for both! :)

I'm looking forward to a new album - not disliked a single one yet! I'm a bit nervous for it though, as I can see the Take That comparisons and knee-jerk reactions from the press coming a mile off. If they were too narrow minded to accept Rudebox....

Really looking forward to a new tour too. I hope he doesn't jump straight to massive venues though. I'm still kicking myself for not going to that Astoria gig a couple of years ago!
