Absolutely. I think it is the dark horse of the album. Fantastic track. It has grown on me and other than Bodies, is my fav. Under rated in my opinion. This should be the next single! ;)

Oh no, are we talking about the 4th single already!LOL We only just found out about the 3rd one. But since we are, it should be Starstruck ROFL. (sorry had to get that in :) )

Superblind, hmm I didnt think it was under-rated, is that the general concensus? I liked it. Not sure if it's commercial enough to be a single though. Having said that (she said sitting on the fence!) I could imagine this song as a theme tune of a movie soundtrack. I said ages ago I wish there was a James Bond movie coming out because "Bodies" would have been a brilliant theme tune.

It is a very autobiographical song I feel, so probably a fav of Robbie fans more so than general music fans?

autobiographical, I will agree with that

It's a great song, I specially love his voice, very David Bowie-ish.

But if we talk about the fourth single, it must be Last Days of Dico :)

Superblind is the only song on the album that I tend to skip over if I'm listening in the car. It's not because I don't like it, it's just that I like the others more.

Would be happy for Last Days of Disco, Starstruck or Difficult for Wierdo's as 4th single. I agree about not having another ballad. Need something upbeat that makes you wanna dance. Thats why I love the 3 I've mentioned. :D:D

Now my absolute favourite song on the album, but i must admit that it had to grow on me:cool:

It’s like these rocks know when we’re dancing
We can pray our way out of this
You’re like a new wave old romantic
Try to break our heart but get stuck on it

I want to believe this is Rob up close and personal in those beautiful lyrics:)

I love this song, but it also had to grow on me... and I have to admit that the beginning of the song is my least favorite part... but I absolutely love it from the part: Sleep sleep... ;)

I'm listening to it right now... Rob's a genius, really ;) :)

I love Superblind. It wouldve fitted perfectly on Sing When You're Winning. It is like the sequel to the brilliant 'Toxic' with a bit of Love Calling Each added in :D Fit Eisler and Rob should write more together, same goes with Gary Nuttel - Get The Joke is a jem of a song.

For me its a sad lullaby ... I like it though
much like life
Immorality n that sense/goal of leaving a bit of us here....

For me its also the superblindness of the world to those in need
When youre superblind
keep you out of mind
cause we all know
and we dont care :(

Also the power of prayer in there ie Wont you put a prayer in for me
We all need to be prayed for those who have those who have not
those who are happy n those who struggle

However we should not underestimate ourselves
prayer sometimes is not he only answer most of the times
we need to take action to see postivie results

If you want to change the world Let Rob/love be ur energy

I think this song never got enough credit... It reminds me of Escapology- Style- Music... Its got great lyrics, a great chorus... I dont know why Ive never read anything about this one in a review... For me its the best song on RKTVS along with you know me, blasphemy and morning sun... I think its actually the best since come undone... But thats just me :)

Superblind. A great song (in itself ... all the songs on the album). I like the beginning of the song. With a "Tecto" (Superblind... tuturuturutu... Superblind...). So soothing sound transformed into a ballad. Who are they talking, with those words? ("Won’t you put a prayer in for me. You can talk and think about me..."). The mix of sounds, from "Classical Music." And DJ sounds. It's the best. A glamorous mix. Last Days of Disco, Difficult For Weirdos, Superblind, Bodies. Songs like that. Album surefire future.

Superblind is my favorite song on RKTVS.
It's an imposing track a bit like Ghost.
The first time i've heard it, it was like a revelation: for me, this is THE song of the album.
I like all RKTVS'songs, and i think there is much more than 4 songs can be single.
Suerblind is one of them. The first one IMO.

Susie

with you on that thallia - its a gem of a song and every album has one like that.

For me, its rather like Random Acts of Kindness on Intensive Care that is the same type of song that is too good to be undiscovered.:)

Am i the only one who think this song can be classic just like "Angels" / "She's The One" ?

My favorite on the album. such a powerfull ballad!

Quite often it's the least hyped up song from an album that turns out to be a gem,Superblind is one of those I think

Well,i think 'Superblind' is a beautiful song (:
Comes as one of my favorites in RKTVS
not my favorite tough...
'You Know Me' tops it but still
i do think that it could make it as a single & knowing
Rob it would be a beautiful video

Deceptacon & Superblind are my favourite 2 songs on the album (right up there with my fav Feel). Love, love, loved them & the whole album from the very first night I listened to it... 4X in a row. Always listen to these 2 together adding Somewhere in front - just because. These songs are so rich and musically uplifting . They send all those feel good endorphines surging thru my body. Do any of you in England ever hear comments about him making statements like "I'm the genius behind me" (I know this & whole-heartedly agree) or something like" Your opinion is irrelevent, I was born to be magnificent" (agree) I believe he says this to keep his own mind in line from being affected by what people say. I don't hear anything in Canada of course but I wondered if people in UK question these lyrics...............I just noticed the last post was in 2010.....Oh well I wrote all this so I'm posting it.

I must say that I do like Superblind very much myself, also Deceptacon, but Superblind does stick in the mind after hearing it, I think it is a much underated track.
The statements you highlight are very good examples of lyrical statements that you just know have alternative meanings, all of his albums ooze with a huge amount of these lyrical statements, mans a genius, a lyrical magician.
By the way I pleased you mentioned it.

so am I pleased you mentioned it, Robbie is the master of brilliant lyrics, the lyrics you have picked out such as "I'm the genius behind me" and "Your opinion is irrelevent, I was born to be magnificent" are great examples of the Robbie magic bloomoon.

I worked, went out for dinner & lo & behold I click on & see 2 comments to my post. Yeah, I wasn't ignored! I admit when I post a comment I can get a bit hurt & pouty:o (I know- silly) embarrassed as if I'm talking to no one. One more comment about S/blind & ALL of Robs music is: I know he's said he's hooked on drums & strings (me too) & word play, of course. He must, I'm positive, be attracted to & driven to create interesting musical sound combinations; layers of sounds, which I'm just thrilled to hear. The drum beat in S/blind is like a calming heartbeat or a sexy rocking of the hips on a dance floor (or elsewhere, nudge, nudge, ;);), say no more. I strangely find Knutsford very sexy as well, because of the slow swing of the base. I really LOVED the acoustical song announcing Rob & Reality album (riding off on the motorbike). It had a mix of many sound combinations from Reality & I used to run back to the computer to push replay 8 or 10 times in a row. So I was definitely primed to hear this album & I wish I knew how to get this song. Can't find it in the "news & blogs". I'm always interested in new music from other artists, but never do I find an artist with sooooo many songs & a voice & humour, like custom made for my brain. I'm perplexed; I understand it ... but I don't. I have learned that as a "Highly Sensitive Person" (there is a book by Elaine Aron)as Rob is (I am too) he has the innate ability to know what people need & want. Certainly an explanation for his abilities and of course his sensitivity to abrasive situations & comments....My, this was fun:D; with Rob in my headphones - Reality & Swing When - verrry pleasant indeed. Goodnight, Bonnie.
