How often do old ladies vacuum?

Vacuuming is even more of a chore than using my washing machine. http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g17/sue_p/sigh.gif I like to vacuum as little as possible but I do have to keep on top of it cos I’ve got light pink/cream carpets. http://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/smilie/traurig/e015.gif Meanie Mummy says that if you don’t vacuum light coloured carpets enough the dust gets trodden in and you won’t be able to make them look clean again. http://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/smilie/traurig/a010.gif I ain’t done mine for over a month though, I probo do mine every two months. I hate doing the stairs. It’s so difficult and the vacuum cleaner is so heavy, and I sometimes nearly trip over the lead, and there ain’t no handrail to grab onto if I fall backwards, http://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/smilie/traurig/c030.gif and my sucker likes to fall off the vacuum, so I have to selotape it on, it’s hell. I’m on constant floor patrol at my house so that I can put off vacuuming for as long as possible, I’m forever picking up any little thing that shouldn’t be there and hay always ends up around my house from my rodents pen. I've vacuumed my old dog before now Sue. :)

He's long haired and it saves brushing him and then having to vacuum up the hair. LOL.

He enjoys it.

You should try it with your guineas. Hold onto them tight though in case they go for a long journey. ;)
