It annoys me when Robbie Williams (or anyone whose taken a break from the lime light) is printed in the papers as 'washed up star Robbie williams' or 'Robbie is now rubbish' etc etc.

Christ the man's been famous and in the papers since he was 19 or so, so what if he had a few years break. It doesn't make him washed up or rubbish, or whatever the Sun wants to say.

People say stuff like 'yeah, now Take That are on top Robbies rubbish'....EXCUSE ME!!!!!!!

Take That had a ten year break and become washed up before they came back.

I can remember the days when I worked in PR and Gordon Smart was just the assistant on the Sun showbiz desk. Very big for his boots now I think.

I agree that anyone who's an actual fan knows better than listen to stories about rivalry between TT and Robbie. I'm a fan of both and it's just nonsense. They're both very different acts now and can happily exist in the charts alongside each other.

I'm very happy Robbie's going to be releasing a new album and singles soon! :)

I've stopped buying tabloids for this very same reason... full of rubbish thats normally badly researched, misquoted and untrue.
The whole Rob vs TT thing is boring now; you would think they (journos) would have grown out of it but alas no... Looking forward to some positive music reviews when we get the new material!!!

What i cant cope about the so called journos is that he writes for the Sun. The way he acted would be that he was writing for the times and thinks he is superior to everyone else. Rob has more talent in his little finger than Gordon Shortass has in his whole body. Ive sent my fair share of emails to the sun and mirror for the stuff they write.

I can handle the lies to an extent - the daft lies like he was recording his album in the pyramids - as rob himself said there is a credit crunch on, but its the nasty little comments i take exception too, maybe they should walk a mile in his shoes.

It pains my husband to admit that he actually likes the new TT CD (he considers himself just a Robbie fan !). He does however regularly point out whenever the tabloids unfavourably compare Rob to "the other 4" that they've got a long, long way to go before they catch up with his CD sales.

What I don't get about english people - you have this amazingly talented man who is so well liked in most countries (which he actually is) - but are you proud? I have read a lot of old rubbish about Robbie being finished, the best one was when he had just finished his world tour in 2006. Rudebox was supposedly a flop and so now was Robbie having just played to over 3 million people world wide, if that makes him a flop then he's the most successful flop I have ever heard of. Bottom line is that nerks like Gordon Smartypants haven't got a clue what the real population are thinking, if Rob is so washed up how come the paps follow his every move, the answer is simple, Rob is the best entertainer we have in Britain and they know it.

A german TV station has announced at a press conference yesterday that there will be a cooperation between Robbie and "ProSieben", starting in autumn this year.
Short translation: "Robbie will be celebrate his next steps of his career and the TV station will be following him."

I'm an American who has bee a fan of Robbie's for ten years now (I can't believe it have been that long, lol), and I'm not offended. I don't like Perez Hilton's style of gossip. I think he is a joke. Perez is an arse. He was all over Robbie when he first went to the states , his site had loads of pictures of him and he was always talking about him.
