I've been asked this a few times, and I'm asking this myself... What will happen to the German Robbie forum? (Click here to get there.) (http://www.robbiewilliams.de/cgi-bin/yabb131/YaBB.pl)
It used to be linked to the German Robbie Williams website, but there is no link on the new site anymore. Our admin was surprised by this "disconnection" herself. EMI, who is hosting the forum at the moment has not commented (yet).
Question to the admins of robbiewilliams.com: Do you know if there are any plans to keep the German forum? (And if yes, can we get a software update?)
Question to the German fans: Are you still interested in the German forum, or are you happy to move here and post mainly in English?
Frage an die deutschen Fans: Habt ihr noch Interesse am deutschen Forum oder wollt ihr lieber hierher umziehen und hauptsächlich in Englisch posten?

Hallo Tinkerbell, ich hätte es sehr gerne, wenn das " Grüne " erhalten bliebe. Denn es gibt dort sicher viele, die sich so richtig " zu Hause " fühlen.
Es wäre schön, wenn es von hier nen link ins " Grüne " geben würde.

Ein paar "Grüne" sind hier. Ich habe hier auf jeden Fall schon viele bekannte Namen gesehen. Wir müssen mal sehen, ob es uns erhalten bleibt, oder neu gemacht wird, oder was. Und ein Link wäre auch nicht schlecht.
Aber wenn wir es erhalten wollen, dann sollten wir hier erst mal sagen, dass Bedarf dafür besteht und wir es behalten wollen.
Hallo, ich bin unbedingt dafür, daß das "Grüne" bleibt!!! Ich bin zwar unheimlich gern bei PR und hier auf rw.com, hab aber immer noch Schwierigkeiten mit dem Englischen und hole mir die wichtigsten news immer im deutschen Forum. Außerdem würde ich es unglaublich vermissen, wenn die ganzen vielen super übersetzten songtexte mit verschwinden würden, wenn unsere "grüne Spielwiese" *eliminiert* würde :p

Also ich würde mich freuen, wenn das "alte Grüne" ein Update bekommen.
Vielleicht könnte man es ja so regeln, dass man sich das Design aussuchen könnte.
Und die "alten" Threads sollten natürlich auch übernommen werden. :-P
Das Grüne muß bleiben, ganz klar! Deutschland ist der größte Markt für ihn, da sollte doch wohl ein deutschsprachiges Forum drin sein??? Nicht jeder RW Fan ist firm im Englischen... und außerdem kann man auf deutsch auch mal Sachen sagen, die Herr W. nicht gleich versteht, hihi. :p

Die Admina weiß Bescheid, die EMI weiß Bescheid und wir warten jetzt *nur* noch auf Antworten....
Das Grüne hat ein Flair und einen Charakter, so wie es hier nie möglich wäre, deswegen würde ich es sehr vermissen.
Es ist urig mit all seinen Fehlern!
Somit hoffe ich, dass wir bald positive Antworten erhalten.
Wenn ich etwas von der Admina erfahre, werde ich es im Grünen in einen thread im board *Eure Meinung zur Website* posten.

Klar kenn ich FS, Karma! :-* Bin auch dort angemeldet. Aber du weißt ja wie das ist, da hat man sich in nem Forum eingenistet... Wenn FS schließen würde wär das für dich sicher auch nur ein schwacher Trost, dass du im Grünen willkommen wärst. ;)
Ich fände es einfach schade, wenn das Grüne geschlossen wird, von daher hoffe ich mal, daß es uns erhalten bleibt. :D
Und abgesehen davon - ich bin seit Jahren bei FS... und werde mit Sicherheit nie vergessen, wie sich "Alm-Öhi" zu Wort gemeldet hat, als "Heidi" (die, mit der Kik-Unterwäsche) ihre erotischen Erlebnisse in der BILD breitgetreten hat. :D :D :D

Mir fehlt hier im Englisch sprachigen Forum ein Link zum Deutschen, dem "grünen",
das ich unter keinen Umständen eine Sekunde missen möchte.
Durch das grüne habe ich Freunde sehr lieb gewonnen und finde mich am besten mit zu Recht.
Es hat seine Eigenart, seine Ecken und Kanten, das liebe ich -
und hier.... Chaos pur, da ich bei weitem der Englischen Sprache nicht mächtig bin, so daß ich mich zurückgesetzt fühle, was kein schönes Gefühl ist.
Ein Umzug hierher kommt nicht in Frage für mich - sondern ganz klar ein PRO auf die GRÜNE WIESE !

bin schon in leichte panik geraten als ich gesehen habe, das ich nicht mehr über rw.de zugreifen konnte :(
hab mir die seite nun auch nochmal gespeichert aber auf dauer ist das dämlich... vielleicht könnten wir ja ne eigene adresse bekommen.. so ganz offiziell..
wäre sehr traurig wenn das grüne weg wäre...
zum glück ist FS noch unbeschadet :D

Ich bin ja in beiden Foren Ausländer :P Bin aber dafür dass das Grüne erhalten bleibt, da ich dort als erstes "Zuhause" war und auch nette Leute kennen lernen durfte :)

Möchte auch unbedingt, dass das GRÜNE noch lange bleibt. Fühl mich dort sehr wohl und wäre wirklich sehr traurig, wenn das plötzlich nicht mehr wäre. Und vorallem fände ich es sehr, sehr schade, wenn die vielen älteren Post's einfach untergehen. Denke für manche langjährige User wär das bestimmt sehr schlimm.
Also nochmal ein hoch auf das GRÜNE und es muss einfach bleiben!!!!

huhu, ich bin auch da :cool: . als mich 2005 der rw-virus erwischte, hab ich mich im grünen als erstes forum meiner wahl auch sofort heimisch gefühlt. ich bin auch anderswo, aber nirgends fühl ich mich so wohl wie dort!

We, the members of the German forum call this forum our home since 2003. Friendships have been formed there, battles have been fought, and we all have our favourite hangouts within the forum, which just can't be replicated anywhere else.
The popularity of the German Thread in this forum shows the need for people to communicate in their own language, and a quite a few of the German fans don't even dare to write here or don't understand what is being discussed here because their English isn't good enough. Robbie has a huge fanbase in Germany, so it's not just a handful of people who are affected.
The forum is well established, has its user base and has been running for at least the last 2 years with next to no intervention from the outside.
So please don't close the German forum!

I must admit I hadn't paid any attention to this thread until now because the German forum hasn't got anything to do with me, but having investigated more thoroughly I will add my name to it with pleasure - please keep the German forum open!
This should theoretically negate the 'need' for a German Speaking Thread on here, where everybody is supposed to speaking English anyway.
As I see it, it would be a good compromise for everybody :)

did i really mention HOW necessary it is to keep the german forum and how necessary it is to update its software?
besides all the other existing forums the german one has always been a rock in the rough sea of fan-dom!
a place where people could discuss safely, in german, get useful information and tender guidance!
so yeah in my opinion it is a great contribution to the world of rob.s fans
it will not only support the interests of the german-speaking fans to keep this board but as well support the interests of robbie williams!

I am not a member of the german forum and i don't want to be there...BUT i know many fans ,who spend there time there. who love the green forum, and they call it there home!

So why the sudden need to close it now when RW is coming back with a new album and an increasing number of people are using that forum again?? I honestly don't see the point. And above all this 'green forum' has become a 'home' to many German fans, because this is where they first met each other and built up close relationships and even friendships. So once again, I am totally against the closure of the German 'green' forum!!

I completely agree! The forum was very self-sustaining, didn't make a lot of work for EMI and was loved by its users (most of them anyway). And now that it's desperately needed with the new album coming out and a lot to talk about, it's going to be closed? This makes no sense!

It has now been announced that the forum will get closed down by the 1 November. Neither the administrator nor the moderators have been informed. A lot of members are very disappointed with this decision and I think it would only be fair to let us know why this is happening and whether a new German website is in planning.
It was nice to have a German speaking forum as not everyone speaks English well enough to use the official messageboard. Besides it makes it easier the get to know fans who live locally and a lot of members actually met up at concerts etc.

Please don't close the german forum!!!! It is the home of all german robbie-fans and keeps us in contact all the time. Especially when we have to wait for Robbie live more than three years.... Apart from that it is even mor than "just" a Robbie-Forum...if you know what I mean!

It used to be linked to the German Robbie Williams website, but there is no link on the new site anymore. Our admin was surprised by this "disconnection" herself. EMI, who is hosting the forum at the moment has not commented (yet).
Question to the admins of robbiewilliams.com: Do you know if there are any plans to keep the German forum? (And if yes, can we get a software update?)
Question to the German fans: Are you still interested in the German forum, or are you happy to move here and post mainly in English?
