'A Man For All Seasons' wurde von Robbie, in Zusammenarbeit mit Oscargewinner und Komponist Hans Zimmer geschrieben.
Die Idee, seinen ersten Titelsong eines Films zu singen, entstand aus einem zwanglosem Treffen mit dem musikalischen Direktor von Working Title [Filmproduktions Firma] und Robbies Co-Manager Tim Clark. Hans Zimmer befand sich bereits im Boot, um den Song zu komponieren und Nick schlug vor, dass Robbie perfekt dafür wäre, ihn zu singen und den Text zu schreiben. Robbie war von dieser Idee angetan und fing gleich an, daran zu arbeiten.
Der Film erzählt die Geschichte des Geheimagenten Johnny English. Nach einer Kette von unglücklichen Ereignissen bleibt ein Mann im Britischen Geheimdienst übrig, um Großbritannien zu beschützen, das Beseitigen aller Geheimdienst-Spione zu rächen und den Bösewicht hinter der feindlichen Linie aufzudecken, der sich mit dem einst größten, bleibenden Symbol des Britischen Reichs, den Kronjuwelen, davonstehlen will.
