Default Friendly Friendlies For Sure

...And LadyPam's sing along last July was a riot and so energetic and hopefully therapeutic for Rob while he was sick!!!

I'm having fun Googling certain words from your countries that I see in posts. Hell, I didn't even know what daft (in reference to Rothko) meant!! We don't use that in the US. I'd be up ****'s creek without a paddle (ever heard of that one?;-) if it weren't for the internet. I even found a website for Stoke speak.

I'll have to befriend the friendlies.

Thanks for saying hey!

(((EDITED REPLY: the word that was automatically starred out was not in reference to urine if you know what I mean!)))

Great to have you on board of the MS Robsessed!

Please share him! Pretty puhleassssssse!!!

I know the paps for TMZ have taken vids and pics of Rob (nothing overly recent?), so he does get recognized, just not like over in your neck of the woods. The US compilation release, The Ego Has Landed, didn't have the impact here that he already had established in Europe. So America loses out on a fantabulous performer - BOO HOO!!

Rob can for sure dominate the world, but I'm sure he likes to pop out for a Starbucks coffee and remain anonymous...I'm moving to England, that's all there is to it!!!!!!!

Hey there Krista!
I was kidding, noone has a claim on him and he does what he wants to do anyway!

If you can, find the book "Feel" by Chris Heath. All details on your favourite book dealer's site. I love it! (3/4 through) You won't be able to put it down. The next book "You Know Me" is hard to get in the US as I have heard. Great insights, fun read.

Being German I am too having difficulties with a few expressions here. And I thought I was able to understand English! Haha, I learnt so much here from my new friends, some of them patiently explained words or expressions to me in chat, most of the time google or UD comes to my rescue.

Love the community here. Excited to hear how the packages are coming to you while you're stocking up on all things Rob

See you around!
Silke

Dunno if I'll ever get to a live show, but here's a great story about the build up at a stadium on a show day...followed by a lucky kiss...swoon...

Haven't been to a concert in a number of years, but in Maine and Massachusetts where I used to go to shows, the rules weren't like that. That's a hell of a wait, but for sure worth it!!!

Hi Krista,

Catching up on some forum reading myself and noticed your comments about reading up on all things Rob (good luck with that btw I've followed him since the 90s and still have HUGE gaps lol) Just thought I'd point you in the direction of the Robbie Live section of the forum -there's some great stuff hiden away in there. One thread is just on his interviews which you may find interesting - here's the link:

Feel free to ask if you're looking for something in particular, as we're all happy to share in here.

See you around,

Hi everyone. Just wanted to say hello from a fellow american. I live in Virginia beach, Virginia. Been a fan for a few years. I unfortunately haven't been around the forums lately. I need to start hanging around again.

I LOVE his music (and crazy antics too :-) I posted this on the blog the other day, but I would give anything to see a live solo RW show. Ohhhh to have been at Knebworth in '03! What an energetic entertainer...and comedian!!!! Europe 2012 here I come??!! Gotta start saving my pennies I guess
Hi Krista, I discovered Robbie by accident too. Well I knew who he was because of Rock DJ and Millenium, but never paid much attention. (what was i thinking?) then i saw jessica Simpson sing angels. thought "how awful." lol...then found robbie singing it at knebworth. i got chills and was googling and youtubing everything robbie from then on. made my husband a fan and he has promised to send me to england when robbie tours. i have started saving my pennies.
