Very concerned about this latest email - for three reasons:

1) Firstly I fell that this opportunity to join a special online community (er hello? don't we have one of those already HERE) and the potential for that community to have access to special perks and benefits (which by rights should also be offered here at the same time) threatens to alienate and offend the Friends here on RW.com. People are bound to want to join up because of the potential benefits and rewards that Chrissie has outlined above. It is human nature to not want to miss out on something special from our favourite singer.

2) If perks are to be made available, the logical place to have made them available first surely must have been here. There are a great many of us who would happily pay a subscription to RW.com for this precise purpose but who feel incredibly uncomfortable with a site dictating whether you get rewards or not according to yor ability to play a hand of cards. People (myself included) may end up registering in order to not miss out on the perks, but with no interest in card games whatsoever. Hardly going to help with the testing is it?

3) Is there to be an age limit on the poker site? It is claiming to be free and fun, (but you can buy extra chips and so on....) so like any other form of gambling (because you can dress it up with a cute avatar all you like) poker is highly addictive. Knowing how people can be on here I think it has potential to be very damaging to Rob and to his reputation if it is seen to condone gambling and encourage playing the "game" simply to get closer to him. Do people actually think they will be playing cards with Rob? Because that's what it implies....


Part of me is horrified, part of me feels cheated for the sake of all of us on RW.com and part of me is really worried....

Don't ruin it scrummy mummy! I think it's gonna be a fun game for members to spend their time nothing more or less. It won't be the next WSOP don't be afraid...

Some of his fans are young and easily influenced, playing poker on line is addictive...

i thought about it too... but if it's totally free and just for fun it's fine

Yes because I play poker more than three years but not online. But I haven't spent so much money to be honest with you

Obviously this is only a beta thing in the planning stages....but the terms of service, particularly section 8, would seem to indicate otherwise

I really hope I'm wrong because otherwise, for reasons already outlined, this seems like a very questionable decision indeed. On so many levels
