What I find despicable is when you mock the person who erred. I was at a table the other day, and a boy from Eastern Europe (Hungary, I think) said "ears ago" instead of "years ago". For a foreigner, the two words sound very alike. And a girl from Australia scoffed.
It seems to me quite normal that people use English on chatting, it is the language the majority can speak at least a little bit, that allows people from all over the world to communicate somehow, with errors, of course, but still making oneself understood. Big hug
Dirce, First of all, your English is PHENOMENAL! Second of all, I wouldn't feel right correcting you unless you specifically asked, but because you have a desire to learn, which I so appreciate, I may help you out - even if it be sheepishly.....Sorry I can't name the person who said the "IDIOT" post but you NAILED it! F'em, Dirce! Those people have no couth and aren't worth getting upset over! xxx

I just posted this in the poker feedback general forum,

I wanted to speak on behalf of those who have commented on the RobbieWilliams.com forum about some verbal abuse they have experienced through the chat. It saddens to me to read the sadness and disappointment in the members' words about the unpleasant experiences they have had while playing this wonderfully assembled game. We all don't speak English and we all don't play poker at an expert level. Should you come across ANY kind of uncomfortable retort, PLEASE report it either here or in an email. The feedback team will make it right. Robbie Williams' name is on the line afterall! A word to the players reading this, please be kind and respect ALL of your fellow players. There aren't many rules implemented in the game, but common courtesy should be a given!

Please players/friendlies, don't be afraid to speak up over there! You have the right!!!!!

Krista, you're a fighter, and very clear and fair in your positions. I admire your ability to assume a cause and fight for it, finding practical solutions. Congrats, these are admirable qualities in this world increasingly indifferent and frivolous.
A big hug to a big-hearted friendlie

First of all congratulations to those who won the signed albums! I hope you enjoy them

Secondly thanks Celticheart for the info about the chips raise by real money. It's a ****** isn't it? To "bleed" in order to raise your chips while others can gain 20 million by paying Anyway...

As for the language mocking I agree that some members, especially two - three players mock the others when they make language mistakes. We could have reported them but the report team obviously don't care so it's a waste of time. But it's true it has happened to me personally and I have seen it with others as well.
