First Robbie solo gig and he did not disappoint!! just had my second baby about 6 weeks before and was first outing !! He is always fab but so close in the Barrowlands could smell him yummm!!
Yeah i was only 14 when i went to this gig, and i had to look older so i wudnt get stopped, nearly actually got to meet Rob before he appeared on stage as we new the support band, The Supernaturals, the lead singer is from Dumbarton or something. But sadly to no avail, i dont think i cud have met him, becos it wud have been like the Aphex Twin video "Come to Daddy" and i wud have just stood there and screamed. But thanks to that gig i got 2 weeks off school becos i ripped my vocal chords!! Well worth the pain
xx
Lol class i think i remember u, i remember a lassie fainting near me and then two guys fighting over a towel and a pair or drum sticks that chris threw lol
Happy Days x
What a gig! I have been to every tour, but still think this one was the most special.
Such a brilliant venue, so intimate, the atmosphere was electric, and the antisipation of not really knowing what to expect from Robbie added to the excitement.
Remember robbie's take on back for good? The crowd went wild. And when you sang Angels, everyone knew you were here to stay.
Loved it, loved all the gigs... but really loved this one.
ha ha hilarious!!! thats my hubbie that wrote the last post....yes i still have the towel upstairs!!
barrowlands was a superb gig it was dead intimate and robbie was amazing as always!! I was there with my hubbie kev and best friends laura and gayle and i remember kevs face of total shock at lauras and my reaction when rob came on stage, we were going mental!!!
really remember him singing angels and me and laura just looked at each other like we knew this was special. we had goosebumps and often talk about that moment!!

Me and my friend skipped school so we could go early and so Rob arriving! Never got to see him arrive but I do remember seeing the Supernaturals arriving. Brilliant gig, was great to see Robbie in a small intimate venue.
I loved this gig and it was the start of my Robbie addiction!
I remember the pink coloured Ticket with Robbie on it (lol) and "The Supernaturals" supported him! They were great too!
I was at front and still had marks from the barriers the next day and loads of bruises! I got pulled out during the second last song because I was crushed! It was worth it all though! I'll need to look out my pics! :o)
