Coach Dean's Winning Note

To our dearest LA Vale fans,

It's Coach Dean here... so the assault on the Los Angeles Premier League started seven months ago. Last week after 20 games we ended up taking our first ever Championship crown in our first season... and wow what a season it's been!

We went into our last game against Avanti needing to make sure we didn't lose by 10 goals or more to take home the Championship. We played some regular Valiant's in the battle and some of those dedicated subs who have been there for us all season. A great battling performance saw us lose 2-1 but that was enough to take home the title of 'kings of the premiership'! The team celebrated with some bubbly, cigars and a general footy sing-a-long and off to O'Briens' for a few beers with the players and loyal fans!

The final whistle brought a huge sigh of relief from myself as it has been a long, tough, turbulent, but above everything else, fun season. We had last-minute game-winning goals, broken legs, ribs, fingers, and other countless injuries. We had a few fans, then lots of fans, we had one uniform and then a whole LA Vale wardrobe. We had arguments, break-ups, and make-ups... and at the end of it all it's been worth it because we are 2007 LA Premier League Champions.

We all want to say a big thankyou for following and supporting the LA Vale. The Chairman has been a joy to work with and if you take his passion for music, take away the music, add a ball....well that's the reason LA Vale has done what they have done!

One more game on the 18th November and if we win that we take home the second championship! Unbelievable.

You have seen the birth of a small team turn into championship giants... is that Chelsea job still available??!

Big Love, Coach Dean
