The day I converted my hubby to robbie! We drove from Leicester ( only tickets we could get) and he wasn't so fussed about going. It was a long journey! But orson and basement jaxx were amazing and 10 mins in he was singing along! On the way home after the gig we played robbie all the way home - he couldn't get enough of him. The power of the robster - amazing concert and a much shorter trip home!!
As usual we were late organising our stay in Glasgow, so the only room we could find/afford was a youth hostel. My first & last time in one, but Robbie was worth it. The night after Scotland were playing football & won (not sure who they were playing) but we had a great night out with plenty of men in kilts....!! : )
Quite simply the BEST gig I've been to...and I've been to a few lol! Queued up from early morning to get down the front, but was WELL worth the wait, as we got to stand right down at the barrier at the front! Banter with the drunken middle-aged ladies in the queue was HILARIOUS!!! Rob as a performer is leagues beyond any other artist I've seen yet...he really engages with the crowd (that's an advantage of being right down the front ladies, he looks right at you with those lovely eyes of his!)
Loved every single second from the moment Rob popped out the stage in front of us to the end. Clearly we stayed true to the legend of the Hampden Roar...Rob said he could hardly hear in his earpiece thingies!!! Amazed that even though he hadn't been feeling his best that Rob fought to get on stage and shake his Rudebox for us :]
THANK YOU for a BRILLIANT night Rob, and I can't wait for you come back soon :] Maybe you can take it in the **** for Scotland again lol!
What a fabby day! Robbie is brilliant live - he is really good at getting the crowd going. Funniest part was watching my pal Claire try to smuggle a bag of wine in down the front of her trousers!! Ah the memories!
I was very nearly there!
On the wednesday just days before the concert I had a very sore throat then it got progressively worse and I was taken up to A&E with breathing difficulties. I was taken into resusc and put on oxygen and given steriods while doctors tried to figure out how my sore throat had got this bad. The ENT consultant appeared and I had a camera passed down my nasal passage to check my throat. The A&E doctors came over and looked in amazement down the camera. I had epiglottitis which is rare and usually children get it, but it is pretty much unheard of in adults.
I pulled the oxygen mask away from my face and gasped "I'm going to see Robbie at Hampden on friday" to be told from the doctors "Sorry you wont be going anywhere".
Can you believe it of all the times to get this virtually unheard of, life threatening condition, it would have to be then!
I am so glad he is back - hopefully I WILL get to see him this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
got tickets for 40th birthday from ma sister n her hubby it was just bloody brilliant went with ma hubby an ma sis an her hubby had a brill day stayed in glasgow over night wish we had tickets for the sat caus i would have went to that concert to what can i say your a born entertainer ROBBIE

Front row at the barrier, brill time. took my little baby girl the next night who was 3 at the time and she was cheering the whole time ! next generation of RW fans are well into there training lol . THANK YOU to all the fans and to RW who made this gig the BEST .
ROBBIE ROCKED SCOTLAND
4th time at robbie and the closest i have been apart from the Barrowlands gig! I the audience was silent and Rob was talking, i thot i'm gonna take my moment and i screamed and he turned round to me and said, "Fuck me ur loud!". Could possibly be the best moment in my musical life ever lmao.
Excellent gig, everyone thot i was drunk afterwards but it was just my adrenaline flowing, maybe i should go more often becos i didnt wake up with a hangover lol
Love u Rob x
Didnt sleep for a week before the concert, i was so exited !! Almost passed out in the que before getting in, the support bands were great and then omg ROBBIE so rocked,i was tenth from the front on the friday and then against the barrier (thanks to my husband) on the saterday night , loved every minute and didnt want to go home !! We need another concert !!
The 1st time seen Robbie went with my 2 sisters and 3 other friends absolutely brill, couldn't understand why everyone was so excited to see Robbie cos we thought we were the only ones who could like him as much as we do, felt a wee bit put out at all other people being such big fans, no-one can like him as much as me, (only joking) brilliant concert only downside was that we did'nt have tickets for next nite. spoke about it for months before goin and months after.xx
I was there, the atmosphere was electrifying. it was the 2nd time I had the pleasure of seeing the love guru in that year, my husband along with my friend's hubby surprised us at crimbo, two tickets to see Robbie at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, tickets, accommodation and 3 days in a top hotel. The best year of my life.

Went with my hubbie for our wedding anniversary and what a night. we danced, sang our hearts out and had a few cheeky wines!
The walk home without shoes afterwards was not so good though - my feet were dirty for about 3 weeks (I was wearing strappy sandals and i had blisters on blisters)!
Robbie was outstanding as always. Love love love.
Welcome back boy - X Factor performance on Sat night was outstanding.
You are looking cool as death.
