Wow this seems like a life time ago; but I was there at the first official night of the tour. It was completely amazing being at such a small intimate gig with someone I'd been a huge fan of for years. I was only 14; but then so were most of the audience and definitely predominantly female! The most memorable part of the gig was when Rob launched into Back For Good, his style! Everybody went wild. After the gig I knew that no matter what people said Robbie was going to be as big as Take that... and he was!

I remember people chanting whilst Robbie was singing. I can't remember what the song was but I think it was one that demanded a different response than hundreds of girls shouting 'get 'em off'!! Poor Rob wasn't best impressed. Still, I can't pretend that I didn't join in and that I wouldn't if it happened again, might I add, I too was only 14, my hopes of Robbie seeing me and falling madly in love were clearly disillusioned! I also remember thinking that the Back for Good rendition was super cool, during which I probably tried out some pogoing and thought I was as rock and roll as my friend that liked Nirvana. I liked The Supernaturals too, they were very good. It was a great gig, it was my first proper squashed together and get beer splashed on you gig too so it was extra special. Good times.

I was there, I was drunk. Can't remember a great deal apart from throwing up in the fountain thing in the middle of campus! Good times!
