i ve seen robbie 3 times live and the close encounters concert in dublin was crap i was very disappointed and as for saying free concert in front of 85,000 strong irish fans were all still waiting?? even if you raffle a 1000 ticket private gig in dublin that would be a nice thank you to your irish fans.robbie stick to your old music its what won you millions of fans over the world encluding me i just hope the new album is not like rude box it was such a let down so fingers crossed the new album will blow us away and robbie can get his crown back as world class Entertainer..................
was there 6 months pregnant with my hubbie and two daughters (9 and 6) it can`t be denied that it wasn`t a patch on phoenix park but to be there was enough for me. like so many others still have my tickets for free gig !!
i was there and loved every bit, only thing was i was in a seat, still had a fab time....oh yeah mr williams whens the free gig!!! later in the year i seen the same gig again in milton keynes...now that was a gig and a half,5 times later i would whatch him over n over!!!
was there and had the best time! robbie was great, shame he was disapointed with his performance though, I thought it was pretty faultless. having said that, wouldn't say no to a free set of tickets to the new shows when next album is out lol! WELCOME BACK ROBBIE! I've been expecting you!!!!
I was at Croke Park and loved every minute of it! I know you said you were disappointed with your performance, but I enjoyed it so much, weather was fab, you sounded great and I love your Intensive Care Album.Looking forward to you coming back to Dublin. Heard a rumour that you were going to play at The Olympia Theatre and thought is unlikley as the venue is so small.
Delighted you are back and can't wait to get your new album. Orla.
I am A big Robbie fan, I travelled from Belfast to Croke Park and thought the concert was fab. Like a lot of other people I am very disappointed at Robbie. Why say anything about a free concert if you dont mean it. So Robbie we are still waiting. Please be true to your word.
had a ball that night, brought my daughter to her first robbie concert that night. like the rest of you, we are also waiting for free gig but will have to pull the house apart looking for the tickets.
really didn't see anything wrong with it, honestly, i haven't missed a robbie show in ireland since he started in take that, i've always gone home with a smile on my face.
Fantastic, travelled from UK to Dublin especially. Got to say wasnt as good as Bercy in Paris couple of years earlier but I think that was just cos it was a smaller venue and more intimate. Could you pls consider the O2 London in the next tour. As for free gig .......
i thought it was fantastic, loved every second of it. i have been to all of your concerts and every one has been an amazing show - of all the artists i go to see you are without a shadow of a doubt the master of live performances.... get back here asap dont give a shite about a free concert - jsut get back to what you do best and quick :)
Best gig of my life. Loved absolutely every minute of it. Had tickets for up in the cusack stand but whatever way we entered we got wristbands for the golden circle, I nearly cried with excitement and I hadn't even step foot on the pitch yet. Then banged directly into the support act Beautiful South, wondered why they were all dressed in black, bit weird in summer like, but then they walked on the stage, mental to say the least.
Robbie was perfection and even though he said he was dissapointed and the gondala didn't work and he promised a free concert that we didn't recieve, yet! I don't really care, cause it was the best night of my life and i would pay anthing to see him again.
I was there in Croke Park.... absolutely loved the concert. Also travelled to Glasgow to see you on 1st Sept on the same tour. Both nights were just amazing..... Seen you every time you've been to Ireland (well apart from 7th july 01 in lansdowne... had tickets but had to cancel due to the fact my daughter was due that day!!! - she is now a robbie fan too!!!) and can't wait for the new album and hopefully a new tour xxxx love ya Rob xxx
My whole family were there! along with my husband and two daughters who all got pit passes on the day so thoroughly enjoyed the concert, my son and his friend were chuffed as they were in the middle of their leaving cert and had seated tickets but because we got pit passes they got into the main standing area. All 6 of us thought it was a fantastic concert and couldn't believe it when Robbie said he was disappointed!! it was better than the Phoenix park because we were so close to the front!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dying to see you live again soon!
Was there, unreal show, loved every minute of it, actually every second of it and it went far too quick. I was not disapointed in any of it.. still have my ticket, just in case (free concert)...... one of the best if not the best gigs Robbie did... better than Slane, and on par with Phionex Park... xxx
I was there and it was awesome ....but we are still waiting for the free gig you promised us Mr Williams ...still have my ticket just in case... we ain't never gonna forget u said that mate lol
i was there it was amazing best concert ever and like many others still waiting on free concert lol!! we were in the golden circle just amazing to be so close to you... looking forward to the next tour hurry robbie its been to long.xx
