England Robbie performed at Royal Albert Hall in October 2001. The show was filmed and Live At The Albert was born. This performance followed hot on the heels of the album Swing When You're Winning.
"Williams made his entrance sliding down a pole in the well-practised Norman Wisdom nerd style. But soon he was into deluxe cabaret pastiche mode. "We're here to pay tribute to some of the coolest men who ever lived,'' he explained, as Danny from Hear'Say was added to the gallery of rat-pack legend on the back projection." It was great to be apart of that night with Rob.He was so relaxed and really enjoying it.Would love it if he did another one .This time I d get a table at front not sat in the gods lol
I would love a new swing concert! I inherited my dad's love for the Rat Pack (although he was a Frank-fan and my favo is Dean) and Rob does them justice.
u were amazing that nite, we sat in the cheap seats which had the bestest view of u, was such a nite to remember, please do it again.
the largest theatrical and swing event , in the history of music .. spectacular...ehhm sorry for my english, but i'm italian
I so wish I had been there. I have the dvd and have watched it so many times it now keeps getting stuck in 1 place. Time to buy a new one I guess! Here's to another Robbie Swing Album......
I was there for that lovely evening. I sat right next to the "W". Great music, great vibe! Rob seemed to love it and so did I! Great close view of him, would do it all over again :)
The view of the public in the video area actually shows me ... The only pic of me and Rob together lol! For once I had the best seats right next to the W, so close. Unfortunately I had to go alone in the Royal Albert Hall .... and travel from Belgium! Never mind that ... it was more than worth it!
one of my favourites shows TE AMO
that show was awesome. especially "things, my way and mr. bojangles" are the ones i watched over and over again.

Si alguien trabaja tanto como tú, no veo por qué tiene que pedir perdón por tener éxito y dinero. Eres demasiado bueno tú y temo por tu bien. kisssssssssss

Sadness ... I did not, and I think I will never have the opportunity to see it .... I'm from Brazil to settle for the DVD of the show again and again ... love ... love ... love you ...
