Ireland Robbie Williams returns to Dublin on Friday 14th September, 2012 to play a special charity gig at the O2 Arena with all proceeds going to UNICEF (Ireland) and Childline (Ireland).
The last time Robbie played Dublin was at Croke Park in 2006 as part of his Close Encounters tour. After an onstage technical malfunction he promised the crowd he’d return to play a one-off concert and this year he’ll honour his promise.

unourtunatly its not looking good for tickets to this gig although was in crokepark ad still have the ticket .was a good concert pity about malfunction , there will be people at the next one who were not there on the night
Wish I was going tonight, just like miklawlor, I was at the last concert and still have the three tickets. Unfair that there will be people at this one that hadn't brought a ticket for the last one.
Totally amazing ! You are going to make a amazing daddy if you can entertain your daughter as much as you did my daughter last night !
There's not enough words to describe how good you were last night Robbie. Some people even said that last night that the gig was even better than your slane gig all those years ago. Thank you so much for a night I will never ever forget. Xx
Great show in the O2 last night. It just goes to show that you dont need a big production to entertain the crowd. I was in the Croke Park in 2006 and I honestly enjoyed that concert, but I have to say the gig last night was fantastic. The venue was a lot more intimate and the atmosphere was electric. The set list was perfect. The new songs are catchy, candy is still stuck in my head :) Cant wait for your new album to come out. Best wishes to you, your wife and your new new bundle of joy x
Absolutly brilliant show in Dub last nite much much better without the big producton. Robbie Williams doesnt need that he is a true entertainer. Although I have seen Robbie at his other gigs in Ireland including Peogress with Take That last summer, last nite at O2 surpassed them. No frills is definitley the way to go!! :-). Thankfully Robs Phone didnt ring. Wishing Rob and Ayda my best wishes for the arrival of their baby daughter. Come back to dublin soon.
♥
Brilliant show. Loved the fact there was no big production made gig more intimate. Brought my nine year old daughter she thought robbie was amazing. Good luck with the new arrival and hope u will b back in Dublin soon.
Yay I was there with my v best friend, we've been with you since you TT days. You were right to play small venues, back to your roots. Good luck to you and Ayda with your little lady, we've an 18 month old, Camille, and she's the light of our lives. You'll be a lovely daddy x x x
For me this was THE BEST Robbie gig so far!! Intimate setting added to the fact I was only 5 deep from the stage was just fantastic!!! Loved every minute of it. Robbie you're back better than ever, lovely to see you in such good form. You're gonna make a fantastic Daddy to your little baby girlxx Lots & Lots of Love from the Sunny South East of Ireland aka Wexford xxxx Til next time Mr. Williams PS Southend you're in for a treat tonight!!!!!!!
Rob, I was right up front at the dublin Gig in the O2 , you were absolutely brilliant. Thank you, xxx
Oh yes, I was there. I will never forget that night. Thank you Rob. You rock my world... ♥ Carnspindle...
I was there, it was Amazing. best night since Croke Park 2011 when robbie shook my hand. xxx
I was at the gig in Croke Park and thoroughly enjoyed it. You made light of the technical issues and all that I remember was the awesome performance you gave. Luckily I got tickets for last Friday nights show and wow did you rock the place. No big production just Robbie doing what Robbie does best. It was perfection. Candy had me on my feet just like all my other favorites and Losers has No.1 written all over it. Best of luck to you & Ayda with bubs. ( keep up with the dad dancing it's going to be the next big trend) x
Thanks for putting on an amazing show! I didn't think I would be attending one of these special gigs & for me it was 3rd email lucky....only downside was being 4 rows from the back & being forced to sit through most of it due to the obvious non-friendlies surrounding me who wanted to sit through the show & complained to the stewards they couldn't see forcing me to sit or be thrown out!!! So my only regret is that I wasn't at the front where the real friendlies were!! For such a special gig that's where I should have been :) Please do some more intimate gigs where it's just you as they are so incredibly special! And they need a dvd release for our memories & those that can't be there!
Hey Robster!! :-) I was in Dublin!! And it was fucking amazing!! One of the best shows i´ve seen from you!! and what made it pefect for me... It was my birthday ;-) Thanks for a great night!!! It was well worth the traveling from Germany to Ireland :-)
What a night O2 Dublin 14th September 2012, a date I will never ever forget. Robbie you put on a fantastic performance. No stage production or gimics just pure talent, you entertained for the 2 hours. Great arena for and event you must come back here again, but don't leave it as long this time. The set-list was brilliant including the two songs from your new album, definately future number 1's! All the best on the birth of your baby daughter xxxxxxxxx
Absolutely amazing concert. Was one of the lucky ones who got a second chance & was at a computer to immediately buy a ticket. It felt like all my christmas' had come at once. The paperless ticket actually worked very well & the queues weren't very long at all. As for Robbie he was electric. He had more energy than the whole crowd put together & probably sang better than he had ever done. He sang a great mix of all his songs though I was slightly disappointed a few of my favourites weren't sang. He did 2 songs off his new album ending the night in an unusual slow duet - which i thought was brill & can't wait to hear it when the new album comes out. All in all it was a superb night though i was disappointed in the few seats that were free around us knowing that people like me would have done anything for them.... Roll on the tour now - don't take too long Robbie :)
robbie was absolutely amazing. show was brilliant he looked as if he really enjoyed himself as we fans all did. well done. very like the old robbie. candy is great new single. dublin is still rocking
The man who never went away, Returned !!! Fantastic night.........
Concert was amazing, brought my daughter along and she loved it also. Been a fan for years. No fancy stage/light show, just Robbie and his band, it was brilliant, best concert I've been to in years. Great to be at the front also. Congrats on becoming a dad, sure she'll bring you lots of joy x
I was lucky enough to get tickets. I thought he was brilliant. Love the new song Candy. Congrats on the new baby. Luck he didn't have to leave the concert. Brill night . Can't wait for the next one.
Coolest concert ever!!! And let Losers be the next single, it is just brilliant. I bet it will be No. 1 at Christmas 2012.
