Sharlene's 17th december tour

Sharlene's 17th december tour report Grab refreshments, I talk a bit according to the hubby hehe Well it all began at 4.30 pm on the Sunday afternoon Sharlene me, Steve hubby, Brittney 11 year old daughter, special friend Lorraine and David happy to catch a lift, off on our journey. Getting very excited now approaching the Telstra Dome, the venue that I’ve been thinking about for the last six months. This will be my evening of entertainment for the next two nights. Found a car park really easy thanks to our Melbourne working David, only 5 minutes walk from Telstra. Walking into The Docklands it’s like a mini city, accommodation, lots of food places and many many people all there for the same reason, to see ROBBIE. We decided to have pizza after a search of the whole area. Brittney very excited by now she has never been to any thing like this before, not as excited as meeeeeeeeeeee. I could hear what I think was Chris Coco entertaining my sisterhood friends and others inside the venue. Okay let’s move in. Line up the ticket is placed inside the machine WERE IN. Walk up to the top, OH MY GOD the place looks like a big space ship and I was so excited that roof was on. Then I spotted Robbie’s stage wow had, seen it many of times in DVDs, but nothing prepares you for the real think. AMAZING. Okay find our seats, Ist level row H 27 to 30, sneaky sound system playing, they were pretty good but to excited about the main entertainer to really appreciate them. Okay there going BYE. All the stage hands come in to do there set up. Really getting excited now. Brittney excitedly munching on twisties, Lorraine getting excited though not feeling very well, Steve taking it all in but a bit concerned at my excited face. Ha-ha. Now I said to Brittney need the toilet, NO she says, Need a drink, NO she says. Okay mummy needs not to be disturbed for the next two hours okay darling. Yes says Brittney. Right about 5 minutes to go I reckon. MUMMY can I have a drink now. WHAT NOW. Yes please AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Right women on a mission charge, need a bottle of water, need a bottle of water. Okay portable water girl, bottle of water please that will be $5.50 thanks. God I nearly needed air. Right transaction done next mission back to the seat, this is not a drill, fire works oh my god he is coming and I’m not at my seat. Running now, out of the way mad women needs to sit down. Excuse me madam on the top of the isle, ticket please it’s in my bag I’ve already had my ticket checked, 5,4,3, let me go pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee. Slip into the seat as Robbie popped up. HERE YOU ARE MY DARLING ENJOY YOUR WATER!!!!!! Robbie absolutely Brilliant sung all my favourites and more, even Steve’s up for let me entertain you, capsule was a success and looked so cool. lots of talking with the crowd and Robbie and Jonny together having so much fun, chip off the old block. As we were at the side of the stage in inner sanctum seats he came over a couple of times to share with the side areas, ahhhhhhhhhhhhh he is soooooooooooo cute. It was all over so fast, but not all was lost out to the channel 7 sign to meet the girls. Out we go met sexy stick (krin) what a lovely person, Jacky blue funny girl, coming out with the banner around her neck. Kizza and Sunny Aussie. Lots of laughter and smiles. Photos and our own comments about the concert for Aussie mum. These are written on the banner for our clever sister Aussie. Back down the highway to do it all again tomorrow night. Probably one of the best

Probably one of the best shows I have ever seen in all my life, the only other shows I can think of that come close were both in the same arena. I saw KISS Symphony in the Telstra Dome and the show went for nearly 3 hours and was totally amazing. But now I actually think about it the Robbie show I saw a few years before the Close Encounters tour was probably a little better. Duran Duran (original 80's line up) and Robbie Williams together at the same show. Seeing my 80's idols and my idol for the late 90's together on the same stage was brilliant. Robbie was the ultimate showman at his total best, with Me and My Monkey and of course Angels being my favorites on the night and Duran Duran were also better than I could have ever expected. It was like they had never been apart, the show was seamless. Best show ever, I've got goose bumps again just thinking about it.

It was good, took my 8 year

It was good, took my 8 year old daughter along.. We had a blast but felt that 2003 concert was better. Sneaky Sound System were a great support act and went on to become quite big afterwards.
