I think it's got nothing to do with naivete. It's got smth to do with trust amongst him and the friendlies. There'll always be people gossiping things around. I guess what Rob meant was the fact that it has been spread around real quickly. I mean.. if someone of us is sitting on a table with friends.. e.g. in a pub or a restaurant and someone's tellings smth. Would you get up, running on the phone, telling everybody else what this one person was telling the others ?
Don't get me wrong.. I'm not convicting anybody. I'm just trying to explain why Rob was bothered.

Bug reports should go to the fun poker site. Either by directly sending the report from the table with the bugs (use the Feedback button) or in their forum (you can find the link in the tab INFO/HELP -> Support -> Support Home / Forums).

Back to poker, some of the tables are glitched. It says there are players on the tables but they aren't and even if new people join, the game won't move. Is there any way to fix this?

@karen490: Unluckily, there's no way to stop it as it is an external program and not a bug on the site. I won't say more just in case anyone else wants to do it :/
I'm a big fan and all I wanted is to have something that I could look back at in a couple of months/years and remind myself of this. He said it was bothering him, I deleted everything. No one else had them... I don't want to play the victim here but it's awful that now everyone's talking about me as if I was a fucking journalist. The last person I'd want to harm is Rob.
Dearest Rob...I play and enjoy your funpoker since you opened it... so I can see and feel the differencies.. first is that if fans found your nick...they are comming just because of you. Internet is very nice, fast, simple and on the other hand very devilish tool. I dont know if it is true what some people wrote...that somebody hassled you and you were really upset. If it really happened..I am very sorry about it and dont understand that.. But I know this can very simply happens. Your friendlies are nice, you can see it under your blogs here...but many people dont love anything, anybody and have a heart full of negatives and hate. I am sure you met this people in your life.. but internet is power for people like this..just because it is annonymous..they dont have to show their real face, nothing.. it is very simple to say- write, things which can hurts anybody... So. I played one hand with you, just short. but it was nice. We didnt chat together, but game was great. I appreciate what Robbie does for all of us every single day of the year, I express my thanks to him every time he blogs and I don't expect anything from him and yes I do have a social life LOL. I enjoy anything he gives - his music, his time, his blogs. I admire and respect him.

Hey gorgeous i admit i havent been onto the poker site because i wouldnt have a clue how to play but i wanted to say this...i think its wonderful you are finding new ways o interacting with your friendlies and those that want to play can, those that dont then its not a problem, some people spend too much time and waste far too much energy analysing everything you do and personally i think you shoul be flattered :) shows even after all these years youre still interesting and unpredictable. One might get the impression that Rob is a cake. Everyone wants to get a piece from him.
Put yourself in his shoes for once. Imagine it were you. Everyone has expectations, everyone wants to get their needs met. You want to talk to him? Learn to play poker. It's pretty simple. Why should he share? Actually, it should be fun. It is not Rob's problem, that some can not or will not play poker there. Ultimately it's his decision what to share and what not. And his decision alone. And no one here has the right to feel attacked or excluded by his decision. It is simply unfair to put him in that position. He has answered our questions for days/weeks and that's still not enough. Don't begrudge him this freedom for your selfish reasons. I don't care what he is talking about with other friendlies. Why is it so important to you? Sure, its fun but thats it. Its not your life-line or something. If he should want the chats private, so be it. You are not going to die. From what I've seen, all that I can say is: we all love Rob (and for his music and for the great person he is - nice, warm hearted, easy to talk to) but many of us seem to be obsessed by him and I don't like it.
I love internet and I always say THANKS TECH! for giving us the chance to join Rob on his blog... but what about the "too much information" surrounding us? Facebook, twitter, official sites, unofficial sites.....
When Rob writes something here, immediately there's someone running round telling everybody (I do agree with CelticHeart) because this is the Facebook lifestyle and the Twitter policy as well.
All that I'm trying to say is:
1) ROB is a person and he is also our friend so, please, let's respect his privacy and FREEDOM;
2) Everytime I meet Rob-addicted people I wonder why they don't have a social life...
Joking apart, my friends, LIFE'S TOO SHORT TO... act this way. Let's try to take things easier and everything will be alright.

Robbie i had just left a table this morning when i noticed you playing so stayed for a bit to watch. I was gobsmacked when the person revealed they had taped conversations 3times. I didn't know this was possible. To be honest i think they were genuinely sorry for doing this and didn't realise the implications. They may have done you a huge favour by telling you as you are now aware of it and maybe the programmers can fix it so that this is no longer possible. Im sure you are very careful what you say but we all know how journalists can just publish snippets out of context and make a story very different. Isn't this one of the reasons for testing it before it is open to everyone to find out problems and make it safe for all of us to chat. Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity. Who would have thought a few weeks ago that i or any of the other friendlies could chat to you from the safety of our own homes. Sitting at a table with you is fatastic and when you answer a remark it is priceless, having will74 as a poker buddy un bloody believeable. Take care and thank you

@Rob: Maybe one solution all could live with is that the people can ask you personal questions which you don't answer at the tables directly but collect them (maybe the site logs the chat). And later on you can answer the questions on your blog or forum.
And at the tables the people can have fun with you playing some funny games besides playing poker like: Guess the tune.
Maybe that is a solution all can agree.
Hey folks. I'm sort of agreeing with what you all say about the other non poker playing friendlies should stay informed about what's been talked about in the chats. But on the other hand. It's like.. It's a bit like chinese whispers. He's telling smth.. and at the end.. it's smth completely different coming out when the last person got to know it. I really appreciate that everyone wants to know what he's talking bout and I guess someone should make him the suggestion to answer personal questions in one of his next blogs and not withing the chats. But I'm afraid.. if this discussion goes on like that, Rob will either close the Fun Poker stuff or stop playing by himself.

I really love playing poker, although I'm not very good at it yet, but I'm still learning. I have loads of fun by watching the games Rob plays with some of the friendlies, and although I can't write anything, I feel like I'm a part of it too :) I think it should stay open for all friendlies to come in and have a read... then even friendlies who can't play poker can come and have a laugh! I watched a game this morning and it has totally made my day... loving the crazy chat and I love being a part of this friendly and kind community, where we all take care of each other incl. Rob!

But I think we should all agree that what's said in the chat, should stay between Rob and us... I've learned that this is something we should treasure very much, and try to keep it like that, by not re-writing bits of the chat and telling every single person we meet about what was said... I've now learned that! So in my opinion, we should try to only share it with friendlies and Rob... :)

Like I say I'm not interested in Poker so won't be signing up but am very interested as a loyal fan in hearing what Robbie has to say. That is my choice. All I'm asking is for a bit of sharing of information. I do it on the forum for others to read and was asking for a bit of understanding and reciprocation. Empathy - that's the key word.
I've read some of the comments on here and the forum and seriously dont understand why the negativity. Its free, its a game, we get to chat to each other and play and we all have Robbie in common and he has created a safe place for us to have fun- its more than just a static forum or blog. And the fact that we get the opportunity to sometimes play or chat to Robbie is absolutely amazing and when I got to do so earlier, well I still have a huge smile on my face! And he was lovely and funny and down to earth. - For those saying what about us feeling excluded - you have a choice to take part or not, I don't see how anyone is is excluding you, if its not your cup of tea then the great thing is that Robbie is working on a new album and in a few months time and we will all have that + all the promo and a tour to look forward to. He's given his heart and soul recently in all those blogs during the summer and then the radio rudeboxes and still people are offended or put off. I hadn't played poker since school back in '97 with matchstick sbut play lots of other online games, and have got the hang of it quickly again. - I seriously think people should spend more time trying to complain about bigger things like tuition fees reaching 6-9k a year ,the crazy price of petrol, retirement age getting higher etc and lobby about that then then worry about a free poker site that makes people happy.

I learnt to play poker from my Dad as a ten year old in many candlelight sessions when the TV was off during the power strikes and three day week of 1972 (!) But I have no desire to play again so haven't "found my poker feet" as you very nicely put it :-)
However I admit I am feeling totally excluded because I would really like to know any snippets Robbie is imparting in his chat. There's nothing worse than one half the forum knowing what's going on and the other half don't. Due to the kindness of several posters yesterday some fans did share what Robbie had said and it did feel nice and much more inclusive. I would really appreciate it if this could continue in the Poker thread within the forum for the rest of us to share. I hope this can be done.

Rob, I've been thinking about the idea Kezbert & I both put forward - about making chat hidden from those just spectating the table. In a total U-turn, and as remarkable as it would be for those on the tables, I feel it just goes against the grain of the friendlies community.

Reading the forums just now, there's a lot of people getting immense pleasure from following the chats without having to play, and to close the door on them seems... selfish. It'd be better to keep things as open as possible, even if you have to censor yourself (good luck!) in the chats.

This way all the friendlies, including those who haven't found their poker feet can still get the same high as the rest of us and we can all have fun with it together. Like in the summer when everyone bonded so well on the blog as we all felt part of the same thing. xxx

And no one here has the right to feel attacked or excluded by his decision. It is simply unfair to put him in that position. He has answered our questions for days/weeks and that's still not enough. Don't begrudge him this freedom for your selfish reasons. I don't care what he is talking about with other friendlies. Why is it so important to you? Sure, its fun but thats it. Its not your life-line or something. If he should want the chats private, so be it. You are not going to die. Maybe u should learn to appreciate what you've already got. Sorry folks i'm in a hurry but I want to just say this for now: ~ Rob if you're reading this, here's my opinion... We can post and post and post here and fill those pages, and if you let this get to you I'm sure you'll end up feeling bad, cos I know , YOU DO CARE about what you read. So please...Just continue playing, if you like it. Stop if you're bored. Simple as that. Chat if you feel like it, otherwise don't. It was a huge SURPRISE for me to see how perfectly this worked for you! I couldn't imagine you could be in a place (well virtually) with people that now who you are and be able to enjoy yourself and have a proper conversation with those people. I'm beyond happy to see I was wrong. ~ Just think like you did for the past few days, as a normal person who has just found a nice way to past his time ,with friends - at least up to the degree we can call ourselves "friends". Not cos you're Robbie Williams and we are your fans, but because that's the way it works anyway, between a bunch of "strangers" we play poker on the internet ;) ~ You're a lovely ...LOVELY person and you don't deserve caring TOO much about this and let them trouble you. Hello Rob, Ayda, doggies (esp. the NEW, WHITE, SOFT MARK'S FRIEND)! Hello Friendlies! How are you all? Hope fine. I've been away for a while, so... here I am, glad to read your news and blogs. From what I've seen, all that I can say is: we all love Rob (and for his music and for the great person he is - nice, warm hearted, easy to talk to) but many of us seem to be obsessed by him and I don't like it. I love internet and I always say THANKS TECH! for giving us the chance to join Rob on his blog... but what about the "too much information" surrounding us? Facebook, twitter, official sites, unofficial sites..... When Rob writes something here, immediately there's someone running round telling everybody (I do agree with CelticHeart) because this is the Facebook lifestyle and the Twitter policy as well. All that I'm trying to say is: 1) ROB is a person and he is also our friend so, please, let's respect his privacy and FREEDOM; 2) Everytime I meet Rob-addicted people I wonder why they don't have a social life... Joking apart, my friends, LIFE'S TOO SHORT TO... act this way. Let's try to take things easier and everything will be alright. Let's low our expectations. Let's try to be FRIENDS (not FANS). I can understand about the chinese whispers Celtic Heart and I do see what you mean :-) Maybe Robbie could say something in his blog about this. If he says no sharing then that's fine. It's just nice to hear what he has to say that's all. That's at the bottom of it all. Someone else suggested on here yesterday that it would be nice for Robbie to do a Q & A session on here in real time that everyone could see like Gary does on his Twitter account. I'd like to see that too. I wonder if that would be possible? Or maybe I should just wait for the bus with Soccer Aid written on it..... Far more familiar territory
Robbie i had just left a table this morning when i noticed you playing so stayed for a bit to watch. I was gobsmacked when the person revealed they had taped conversations 3times. I didn't know this was possible. To be honest i think they were genuinely sorry for doing this and didn't realise the implications. They may have done you a huge favour by telling you as you are now aware of it and maybe the programmers can fix it so that this is no longer possible. Im sure you are very careful what you say but we all know how journalists can just publish snippets out of context and make a story very different. Isn't this one of the reasons for testing it before it is open to everyone to find out problems and make it safe for all of us to chat. Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity. Who would have thought a few weeks ago that i or any of the other friendlies could chat to you from the safety of our own homes. Sitting at a table with you is fatastic and when you answer a remark it is priceless, having will74 as a poker buddy un bloody believeable. Take care and thank you
Rob you know as well as everybody does that you can never please all of the people all of the time, keeping it real, for you, is the only thing thats important, we all have lives we all have pastimes, you've given friendlies the chance to view or share your pastime, I have no conditions no expectations from you, I just enjoy whatever opportunities present themselves to share some time around you x Cheers Robxx
C'mon friendlies. Please don't let us destroy the fun the people and Rob have with playing poker. @Rob: Maybe one solution all could live with is that the people can ask you personal questions which you don't answer at the tables directly but collect them (maybe the site logs the chat). And later on you can answer the questions on your blog or forum. And at the tables the people can have fun with you playing some funny games besides playing poker like: Guess the tune. Maybe that is a solution all can agree.
Hey folks. I'm sort of agreeing with what you all say about the other non poker playing friendlies should stay informed about what's been talked about in the chats. But on the other hand. It's like.. Rob says smth and immediately there's someone running round telling everybody. Don't get me wrong friendlies.. but I think I can understand why Rob doesn't want that. It's a bit like chinese whispers. He's telling smth.. and at the end.. it's smth completely different coming out when the last person got to know it. I really appreciate that everyone wants to know what he's talking bout and I guess someone should make him the suggestion to answer personal questions in one of his next blogs and not withing the chats. But I'm afraid.. if this discussion goes on like that, Rob will either close the Fun Poker stuff or stop playing by himself.

@Fraggle - Well said Hun! I agree with you x - I really love playing poker, although I'm not very good at it yet, but I'm still learning. I have loads of fun by watching the games Rob plays with some of the friendlies, and although I can't write anything, I feel like I'm a part of it too :) I think it should stay open for all friendlies to come in and have a read... then even friendlies who can't play poker can come and have a laugh! I watched a game this morning and it has totally made my day... loving the crazy chat and I love being a part of this friendly and kind community, where we all take care of each other incl. Rob! - But I think we should all agree that what's said in the chat, should stay between Rob and us... I've learned that this is something we should treasure very much, and try to keep it like that, by not re-writing bits of the chat and telling every single person we meet about what was said... I've now learned that! So in my opinion, we should try to only share it with friendlies and Rob... :) - Now, let's shake all this seriousness of us, get together in a (((((MASSIVE GROUP HUG)))) and all have a great time, playing poker or not... :) Sending hugs and rays of sunshine around to all friendlies - Michelle xxx
Like I say I'm not interested in Poker so won't be signing up but am very interested as a loyal fan in hearing what Robbie has to say. That is my choice. All I'm asking is for a bit of sharing of information. I do it on the forum for others to read and was asking for a bit of understanding and reciprocation. Empathy - that's the key word.
I've read some of the comments on here and the forum and seriously dont understand why the negativity. Its free, its a game, we get to chat to each other and play and we all have Robbie in common and he has created a safe place for us to have fun- its more than just a static forum or blog. And the fact that we get the opportunity to sometimes play or chat to Robbie is absolutely amazing and when I got to do so earlier, well I still have a huge smile on my face! And he was lovely and funny and down to earth. - For those saying what about us feeling excluded - you have a choice to take part or not, I don't see how anyone is is excluding you, if its not your cup of tea then the great thing is that Robbie is working on a new album and in a few months time and we will all have that + all the promo and a tour to look forward to. He's given his heart and soul recently in all those blogs during the summer and then the radio rudeboxes and still people are offended or put off. I hadn't played poker since school back in '97 with matchstick sbut play lots of other online games, and have got the hang of it quickly again. - I seriously think people should spend more time trying to complain about bigger things like tuition fees reaching 6-9k a year ,the crazy price of petrol, retirement age getting higher etc and lobby about that then then worry about a free poker site that makes people happy.
Thank you Fraggle80 - someone who understands :-) I learnt to play poker from my Dad as a ten year old in many candlelight sessions when the TV was off during the power strikes and three day week of 1972 (!) But I have no desire to play again so haven't "found my poker feet" as you very nicely put it :-) However I admit I am feeling totally excluded because I would really like to know any snippets Robbie is imparting in his chat. There's nothing worse than one half the forum knowing what's going on and the other half don't. Due to the kindness of several posters yesterday some fans did share what Robbie had said and it did feel nice and much more inclusive. I would really appreciate it if this could continue in the Poker thread within the forum for the rest of us to share. I hope this can be done. Thank you for thinking about the rest of us xx

Rob, I've been thinking about the idea Kezbert & I both put forward - about making chat hidden from those just spectating the table. In a total U-turn, and as remarkable as it would be for those on the tables, I feel it just goes against the grain of the friendlies community. - Reading the forums just now, there's a lot of people getting immense pleasure from following the chats without having to play, and to close the door on them seems... selfish. It'd be better to keep things as open as possible, even if you have to censor yourself (good luck!) in the chats. - This way all the friendlies, including those who haven't found their poker feet can still get the same high as the rest of us and we can all have fun with it together. Like in the summer when everyone bonded so well on the blog as we all felt part of the same thing. xxx
