Hello I really hope you can read this message. It should not be anything special in the middle of so many, but I wanted to you knew my story, even if it is insignificant. I'm 18 now, at 9 I saw Rock DJ, and I loved it because of the expressions and jokes, as much as your look seems a lot like my father. My father, distant in my childhood, but close because of you, translated the lyrics of your songs. Twenty years ago, he became addicted to heroin, alcohol, yet I always had an amazing connection with him. My mother got fed up, we moved away. On vacation, when I was with my father (the little time that he was not on the street consuming) we listened to your songs. Everything you sing, what you say, I think I know what you feel, I saw much suffering in the life of my father and also in my life, as you can imagine. Well, it's kinda bad to tell this story publicly, but certainly am not the only one with a parent which is drug addict. To conclude, he is really similar to you, everybody says :D He is one year clean and you also I think you're well for a while, so "my dream” came true finally, the two Robbies with his feet on the ground, eheheh I loved to meet you, not for the fame, but for your unity and your pain, that I think I understand. But like me, millions of people want to know you, so try to do a concert in Portugal again (in which I was present,of course). Or else I have to save money a few years to go to London to see you :) Get well and do not be affected by negative criticism, you have a gift, and I am sure that your work, your music, can make a difference in people's lives as it did in mine. I was just on the balcony smoking a cigarette, how many times have I done that and quite frankly my flatmate is sick of it she hates the smell of smoke, she is a food techn/ sales rep, I am trying to finish a law degree, at UTS and write music, and compose songs. Eh, better late than never... Though I think purple would bring out your eyes more, the pink suits you. In all honesty, though, I am grateful that you share your talent with us. Less than a handful of artists have the capability of cheering me up the way you do. I can be in the biggest slump, and all I have to do is listen to a couple of your songs and my mood starts to change... The love and energy you portray in your music and videos are absolutely phenomenal. You have an incredible talent and this natural ability to make people want to laugh, dance sing! I just hope someday I will be able to attend one of your concerts - only time will tell! Until then, I hope that you keep making great music for another 20 years to come..... or more! Hiya Robbie,me and my 11 year old son were at the scene this morning in whitehaven cumbria when a taxi driver was shot,we were right there,the gunman has then gone on and killed other people at random,it is a very sad day today here,we are shook up as we seen the man lying dead in the taxi rank,we are coming to soccer aid on sunday and just wondered if you could all maybe do a minutes silence or do something just to show a mark of respect to the families of the killed.
