A bit late posting but this was another fab RR. Even listening to it in dribs and drabs in Jan I still got a xmassy warmth from it. Non-musical highlights were Aydas interview, the embarrassing stories and thanks for taking time to answer questions. You made a couple of my closest friendlies very very happy. - Can't wait for the new album, at first I was disappointed to read it won't be like any of the others (RKTVS and RB are my absolute faves but all the back-catalogue is fab..) but then I thought well Progress wasn't like anything you or TT had released before and that was bloody brilliant, so now I'm really looking forward to hearing it.. - Thanks to you and all the lovely lads and lasses that make this show and for keeping us entertained! xxx

robbie Dog died in august at only 5years old so unexpected got to new boys and always throught i would never have another, house was so empty without her. new dogs eat poo and it makes us all sick but hubby really taken to one (not a pet person at all but he love this little big dexter ) 4 months old now and are still peeing everywhere going to puppy classes with them next month which wont help cos they are scared off all other dogs!! so hard to walk to dogs cos both want to walk next to me
SONG BREAKDOWNS... - Hi Rob :) Really hope there'll be a new Radio Rudebox sometime in the nearest future... it's by far the best radio show :) - Since everyone seems to be posting on the newest blog, I don't think anyone will bother about me posting a little advertise (again) about the song breakdown idea me and @startingtoshow has come up with!? - If you feel like you could need a new segment on RR, this could be just the one you're looking for, Rob. Last summer we enjoyed how you made breakdowns of songs so much - so why not do that on Radio Rudebox too? I hope you like the idea... if not, that's just okay - The decision is all yours babe ;) - But I would be very pleased if you choose to talk about, Deceptacon, Blasphemy, Singing For The Lonely and Misunderstood... lucyd couldn't agree with you more. Married 13yrs this year & still having my naughty thoughts about Mr Williams!!! He's the only one on my "I would" list and I've told the hubby too! Told him I'd let him have his Kylie moment if I ever met Rob!!! Haha

Lost my golden retriever 5.5yrs ago, still miss her so. Sorry to hear of your loss too, yes they sure are part of the family. Sent a copy of Progress dvd to my 'troubled' brother in Western Australia. Despite never being a Take That fan, he was impressed with the 'set' but said it never really came alive until Robbie came on. Not bad from a die-hard heavy metal fan that he is. Haven't listened yet because I have missed all of christmas and new year being in hospital and one of my cats ran off when i was admitted on christmas eve. I gather you have lost pets too? I am empathising greatly. Happy New Year Robbie X

I’m sorry to hear about your dogs. I lost my Sam in November after 14 years. He was a cat that thought he was a dog. I have stories you wouldn’t believe about that cat. I miss him terribly. He had a tumour, and it was the right thing to do. It made me wonder if our animals go to heaven. I’m a Christian and I was reading the gospel of John. Jesus said, “The Spirit gives life, the flesh counts for nothing.” This means so much, but used within this context, some Christians believe that animals don’t have souls. I think anyone that’s ever built a relationship with an animal knows otherwise. If animals have life, then they must have spirit (a soul). I don’t think it’s goodbye. “The Spirit gives life, the flesh counts for nothing.”
I had you and Gaz in my dream and it was a bit sad.. you were on an island but in a rush for something and you seem sorry for a reason. When I woke up, didn't get the best feeling and really hoped you re fine. I've my own totem tattoo for good and evil psyches of conscious and unconscious.. so I ve prayed on that for your protection.. I wish I d make a twin joujou for both of you, and make you receive it. So you could depend on whatever you want.. But I believe you re receiving all our best wishes and support already. All that chocolate orange conversation and xmas song.. I m really glad that long xmas is over at last and you re happy now! XX
Re BOOZY/embarrassing stories ... Gotta think of this every single time I hear Ayda call you "BOOZY", Rob, so I decided to share this little story here. ∼ I was an exchange student in the U.S., invited to a party where I knew nobody but the host. So I am being introduced to everyone. After a little while, a guy who I can’t remember having been introduced to (but have been) joins the group I’m talking to and says „I’m buzzed“. The only non-native (which is me) understands „I’m Buzz“, makes a serious attempt to shake his hand and says „I’m Julia“ … The guy and half the party stare at me in amazement for what feels like eternity until they get what I got wrong, resulting in roaring laughter. So I discreetly pull back my hand, eagerly searching for a hole in the ground. Well that’s how I got my American nickname "BUZZ" … ∼ xxx ∼

Happy Belated Christmas! A bit late sorry have been on holidays tech free! It was nice hearing chrissy songs again though. Like you, i was never a Christmas person until my baby girl came along 2 years ago and now I've gotten into the spirit for her and i'm loving it. RR was fun to listen too....my daughters fave song is All you need is Love so frooze and ran over to the laptop and started to sing at the top of her voice...bless. Thanks for sharing your friends, feelings, songs ectect......Peace x
