Heard No Sleep 'Til Brooklyn today on my top 40 station. Thought that was so respectful of them to play it. I was near my destination when the song started playing, so I sat there in the parking lot with the windows open and radio blasting, bopping my head 'til it was done! I can't really comment on the man...i didn't know him, but i'm sure he'll be rocking it over there! He was the about same age my daddy died, i was 17 at the time, it was so very hard, it still is. I do believe when it's your time to go - you gotta go...unless like me you miraculously cheat death, you see The Light of God - which is totally awesome, you see those loved ones who have gone before you - which is amazing, and then you come back to this sh*tty life. Rock on planet earth...you have a lot to learn!

Heard No Sleep 'Til Brooklyn today on my top 40 station. Thought that was so respectful of them to play it. I was near my destination when the song started playing, so I sat there in the parking lot with the windows open and radio blasting, bopping my head 'til it was done! Rob what a tasteful and respectful tribute to someone who lost their battle against a terrible disease. (A disease that is effecting someone very close to me in my life at the moment) . I can’t make a comment about him as I don’t know anything about the Beastie Boys other than my experience at a rather bizzare wedding where the Bride and Groom danced to You’ve Gotta Fight for your Right to Party as their 1st dance. RIP MCA my hubby loved the beastie boys he had a vw badge as they had made them fashionable to have shall i say and i chucked it in longton parks pond he was'nt impressed to say the least!!!!!!

I can't really comment on the man...i didn't know him, but i'm sure he'll be rocking it over there! He was the about same age my daddy died, i was 17 at the time, it was so very hard, it still is. I do believe when it's your time to go - you gotta go...unless like me you miraculously cheat death, you see The Light of God - which is totally awesome, you see those loved ones who have gone before you - which is amazing, and then you come back to this sh*tty life. Rock on planet earth...you have a lot to learn!

If i were you, which, thankfully im not, i suggest you listen to his tracks (Rudebox album)The 80's & The 90's.... also, i think you should give his whole back catalogue a listen to while your at it! ;-) Might give you the insight your looking for..
