Robbie Launches Farrell At Brown Thomas
Between entertaining audiences at his run of intimate live shows last week, Robbie was also busy introducing his menswear label, Farrell, to the far reaches of the UK and Ireland!
Friday saw him head to Dublin, where the Autumn Winter 2012/13 collection launched at the city's luxury lifestyle store, Brown Thomas, and their contemporary fashion off-shoot, BT2. Along with Farrell Head of Design, Ben Dickens, Robbie spoke to journalists inside the store, discussing the story of the brand so far and the inspiration behind the range.
Robbie also spoke to TV3 about the label, his forthcoming album and the prospect of fatherhood. Watch the interview here.
Following that one lucky winner got the chance to be styled in Farrell by Robbie himself!

Off topic logopaedical problem here. You know I sought I knew ze English. I am pretty efficient but I simply can't sing the "Either a little ..." part in Candy, it does my head in. Or rather my tongue which forms a knot and I feel I have way too many teeththth. My daughter doesn't get it out properly either and she is young and has a flexible brain! Unfortunately missed the launch as we were queuing outside the O2 from early morning! Will be taking a trip to view the collection 'in the flesh' soon.. Would've loved to have seen you there, but the wait outside the O2 was worth it! Got to meet up with tons of Friendlies from Bookface, RWFP & here! Made a massive banner (with one or 2 spelling mistakes due to excitement overload!) Got interviewed by the camera guy.. Would love to know what he was filming for!! An all round savage day! Going to see Rob in Dublin was my first opportunity to see the Farrell clothing range. My fellow friendlie and I skulked around the wrong Brown Thomas for half an hour, until we got a message to hot foot it over to where the launch was to actually take place. However, this gave us the chance to see the full display. I also spotted a sharp outfit on a mannequin on the way out and was pleased to note it was Farrell. I loved the outfit Rob had on. The cardi was a winner - the rich colour looked warm and the smart casual style still looked cosy. Loved the cuffs and conker button details.
Great excitement being in Brown Thomas last week. The clothes look great. My hubby was in there tonite and had a quick look. We'l have to pop in soon and make a few purchases!! Still raving to everyone who asks..." how was the Robbie concert?". What a fantastic show...loved that it was in the 02. All the old songs too, had them in my car all week and every time I drop the kids to school or wherever they go the volume gets turned up and your blasting through the stereo. You kinda forget how brilliant the tunes are so plenty of Robbie in the car from now on!! Youv had a very busy 12 months Rob. Now you have the beautiful Teddy Rose with you, life will never be the same again. I have an 8 yr old boy and a 5 yr old girl. They are both my life completely. Watching them develop from little baby's into little people is amazing. There will be so many ups and downs but they bring you joy that youv never known before. You will never love the way you love your children. Cherish this little lady, she is very lucky and so are you guys so be happy forever more. I wish you all every success and every happiness. Very smart, very stylish and most importantly... very very classic! Love clothes that wont date! Hate all this fast fashion crap! Between my and my other half weve got loads of Farrell stuff... couple of pairs of checked lounge pants (too comfy for words!), grey hoodie which we have 4 in total!, hooded grandad tshirt, raw edge tshirts, blue cardigan and a pair of chinos.!) Adore every single item and screams quality! Wear after wear...Wash after wash... Perfect! Even my fella, who loves AllSaints menswear more than he loves me.. is a rapidly increasing Farrell convert! Probably the best advert you can get right there! So, cant wait to get our mitts on this... Good luck not that you need it, and Congratulations on Farrells new launch! =)xxxxx p.s... You make me proud to be from Staffordshire! Whenever i get my council tax bill or put the bins out i see the knot and think of Farrell. Got my Hubby the millitary style grey coat last year and i love it, its beautiful and really suits him. Great that you are inspiring blokes to look a bit dapper again. Was fun to be there.... Even if thelittle old ladies next to us were waiting for Daniel O'Donnell.... Lol :) the range looks the best ever, a proper fashion launch. Congrats RW and BD, next stop LFW and then onto NYFW! Take the Staffirshire knot global.... (many men need your help.... There is far too much polyester in the world).
