Robbie Switches On The BBC Electric Proms 2009
It's been over three years since Robbie's last live show in the UK... and finally he's back for one night only as part of the BBC Electric Proms 2009, which takes place at Camden's Roundhouse in London from 20th – 24th October 2009.
Robbie will open Electric Proms on Tuesday 20th October, when he will be performing a very special set at the Camden Roundhouse featuring new material from his forthcoming album Reality Killed The Video Star, along with some classic tracks. The performance will be accompanied by a string section, horn section and full band in a show, all overseen by Musical Director Trevor Horn.
“I’m looking forward to playing my new songs, working with Trevor Horn again and seeing how people react to what I’ve been doing" said Robbie.
You could be there for his electrifying return!

Tickets go on sale at 08:00 BST tomorrow morning, so set every alarm clock you've got and don't miss that wake up call. There are a limited number of tickets available for the show Camden's intimate Roundhouse, so early birds will still have to be very quick!

how come its getting broadcast in full to the cinemas everywhere apart from uk, and in uk we only getting part of it on bbc 2???????????

btw i totally agree that all people who put tickets on e-bay for ridiculous prices r complete b**tards!!!! Something needs to be done, ive lost count of the number of so called fans who've told me they've bought the max no of tickets 2 only use 2 & then flog em!!!! shudnt be allowed, bring back the days of having 2 q at boxoffices!!!! Fair play to the BBC for putting strict ID rules on the tickets !!
I was gutted not to get tickets :-( logged in dead on 8am & was put in the q straight away !!! 35 mins later - told sold out! im sure the show will be amazing!!! Hopefully catch u on tour :-) take care Rob XX

Listen instead of bellyaching about not having tickets (which I by the way did not get either although I was logged in the queue from 3 seconds into 8.00am) complain to the BBC. If they get numerous complaints they have to look into what went wrong – something obviously went wrong if people logged on at 8.04 to 8.10 & got tickets & also no offence meant to overseas fans but this was supposedly only open to UK nationals. The BBC has used an IP address selective process on these tickets. If you have seen these tickets on eBay and yourticketmarket.com – report the sellers to the BBC – then the BBC can look into it, find out who they are and cancel their ticket. This is the only way these money grabbing swine’s will get their comeuppance & maybe the BBC will re sell a few more tickets or actually do the right thing and start all over again on a first come first served basis. if we all go on ebay and select a seller each you can then report them for fraudulent selling as the buyer will have to pretend to be the seller, as they are asking on the door to see the credit card that you ordered the tickets with, therefore fraudulant activity. This will stop the cheating scum in their tracks!!

I think it is disgusting that so many people are selling these tickets on ebay for stupid money. I went online at 7.55 and was on there for an hour and was unlucky. Bring back inner sanctum at least real fans had a chance to get tickets for his gigs. Well and truly peed off
I managed to get two tickets at 817am. No idea how I was so lucky, just kept refreshing the screen and it went to the bit where you get tickets. Am not a tout, a genuine die-hard fan, have see Robbie 5 times. Can't believe the nonsense that is going on Ebay, my tickets won't be going anywhere near!
I was lucky enough to get 2 tix this morning :-))) ...after long time queueing and refreshing I finally could enter all details at about 9.18 (German time) :-))...I still can't really believe it :-)) Am really glad to be able to see you live on stage again so soon, but on the other hand I am honestly sad for all who weren't lucky this time...among them also dear friends...that really darkens my happiness...so I pray for further gigs in the near future and the tour to rock the house together with them again...xoxo
I've been in the queue since 8am but unfortunately no luck :( this is really frustrating and then i c on ebay some stupid twats selling the tickets for 1.500pounds :O this is just rude..i mean there are true fans who really tried 2 get tickets and didnt and some pricks sell it on ebay for sooo much money :( really really frustrating !!!
