Take That Announce New Single, When We Were Young
Take That and Constantin Film/Impact Pictures jointly announced today that the band's next, and final, single to be released from the Progress studio sessions will be When We Were Young, on 22nd August.
The ballad, which was inspired following a private screening of the The Three Musketeers with its director Paul W. S. Anderson in LA, will be the theme song of the highly-anticipated movie, which hits the big screen from 1st September.
Speaking about the track, Gary Barlow said: “The film is visually so rich and beautiful that our main challenge was to then match it musically. We’ve returned to guitars, real pianos and a conventional song structure to achieve this. We also thought that the Musketeers reminded us of ourselves.”
When We Were Young features on Take That's No.1 album Progressed and is available to buy right now from iTunes.

hey robert, i know you like the paranormal so i was wondering if u have ever watched sally morgan she is a medium and a good one at that,ive seen her live and she is so acurate,she does a lot of one to one readings for celebs u should try to arrange to see her. My son is 11 and has had sightings of a man that has passed since he was about 4 yrs old its always the same man and he seems to follow ross wherever he goes he tells me he talks but ross can only see his lips moving but he cant hear anything.its all very intresting and i never encourage him or disbelieve him as he has been discribing the same man for the past 7 years and its the same description all the time. i find it all very intresting too pls feel free to comment back to me if u manage to see this in amongst all your other comments x debbie x

This is the most interesting song of Progressed (which includes Progress). Your vocal is simply stunning. Very different from most of the rest of the album (s).

Since progres(sed) were released, I listened to it's wonderful songs everyday. They keep surprising me with their lyrics and music. Even though the solo Robbie part hits me most this tour, I really love the way you're performing the Progress(ed) songs.Only 10 moredays to go and I'll see you again(in Amsterdam). Looking forward toward it , but it makes me very sad as well, cause it will be my last tourvisit. Quess there will be lots of tears at LMEY and Eight letters( don't wanna think about it yet)
I love this song. I would love to see you all on horseback as Musketeers in the video. The path from Perransands to Perranporth with views of the sea would be a perfect location. Perhaps down on the beach in Perranporth would be a bit safer for you though. In my dreams! Thanks for such an amazing time at Wembley on Wednesday. It has left me feeling so positive and now I can handle my 14 year old son who certainly isn't obeying his Mother or Father at the moment. Love Love . XX

Yes I agree. Brilliant song. Just a quickie to say how excited I am for my trip from the wilds of Northumberland tomorrow to see you on Saturday at Wembley. Haven't been to Wembley b4 so I'm expecting the atmosphere to be unreal. There will be tears. In the 'toon' crew this time are 2 new fans. David my buddie from work came with me to the opening night at Sunderland and was blown away. He said 'Helen, I want to go again' and of course the ever obliging me says 'lets do it then'. He's bringing his partner Dom and it will be his first time to see you or TT - canny way to start at Wembley I'd say! So this was supposed to my my last wasn't it. Weeeeeeell. You know those scottish fan pals of mine....between the 3 of us we talked ourselves into going to Munich. Not that any of us took much persuasion. Another little adventure. So we finish when you finish - a gud plan me thinks - but don't make us wait too long until we see you all again - just need enough time to do some work and save up again.
