Take The Crown: New Album Out 5th November
We can finally reveal that Robbie's new album, entitled Take The Crown, is released later this year on 5th November! Even better news is that you can pre-order it right now to make sure it's yours the moment the release date rolls around.
“After the Take That reunion – a busman’s holiday, a break from my career which re-energised me in many, many ways – I wanted to come back with a massive solo album," said Robbie about his forthcoming release. "My main priority was to write what I consider, and hopefully what the world would consider, to be hits. I’m very excited”.

Music industry magazine, Music Week, have already had a sneak listen and are singing Take The Crown's praises:
“Take The Crown is the big, brash, confident Robbie Williams pop record that his fans have been longing for but maybe didn't dare expect. If it had a sub-title it would be ’In Case You'd Forgotten’. Not wishing to denigrate the art of the record executive, but Island may as well have chosen the lead single by chucking a dart at the inlay sleeve. They couldn't have missed. And for those of you who simply can't wait until 5th November for a taster of Take The Crown, you'll be pleased to know that the first single to be released from the album, Candy, will land on 29th October. A brilliantly addictive classic pop song written with Gary Barlow, this is what Robbie had to say about the track:
“It’s a summer song about a girl who thinks she’s great. And she might be, but she’s a bit nefarious with her ways. Some songs take an age to write and some songs just fall out of your mouth completely formed, and you don’t have to think about it. I don’t know why that fell out of my mouth and out of my brain at that particular time – it just did.”

The album is available in two editions, including deluxe. Both are available on CD and as a digital download. In addition, there will also be a double vinyl available, which will be limited and numbered. Stay tuned for more details on this special format.
The CD is available with a choice of covers; the limited edition 'Roar' (limited to only the first production run of the CD, so it won't be around for long!) and 'Regal'.

Can't begin to say how devestated I am. Having never missed a Robbie Williams gig, be it solo or with TT I was 'unsuccessful' in getting tickets to the O2 in Dublin. Seems am not alone. Many of my friends who were at the origianl gig in '06' were unsuccessful also. I don't like to moan, but those who I went with and others I've met online since - out of us all NONE of us are going to that much anticipated 'free gig' desoite it being promised to those that were there for the original one. I know there was never going to be a way to ensure 'all' who were at Croker in '06' would be there. But still, it's really really unfair that anyone could register for tickets. Probably most who were successful didn't even read terms properly, so buy to sell them on is a no go, means one of two things - The gig will be full of 'non friendlies' OR it'll be half empty < I dunno which is worse !

Not a word ........... so am guessing no news in this case is bad news ....... How hard it is to be a Friendlie, we support you in all that you do and yet the powers that be still don't seem to be able to allocate tickets to the ones who would make these gigs so special and memorable for you ...... We know it's not your fault Rob - but it hurts, it really hurts when there are ways to give priority in ticket sales and we never seem to get it ........ Sorry to moan, I may be being premature and allocation still not complete, but sure I'm not alone feeling like this right now, somehow it was so inevitable x

Totally gutted at ticket fiasco. Such a stressful experience. Got so many people to apply for me, some didn't get emails until 90 minutes after advertised time. Then to find out what a total screw up it was. Just go on twitter and you will see. Glasgow people getting Dublin, so can't go. Dublin people getting Glasgow, so can't go. People selling registration codes. People applying just for the sake of it and not wanting to go. It makes me want to scream. I was prepared to go from Australia. I wish you would bring back the 'Inner Sanctum' to ensure your devoted 'friendlies' got tickets to such special gigs :( ..... Congratulations to anyone on here who did get tickets you will have the time of your lives. Our Rob is amazing <3

Congrats to all the ones who got tickets, but can someone clarify this to me ... are these conserts the long awaited friendlies conserts we have been hoping of..... so is this is , the last of our Rob? Or will there be other chances in the future? After first baby grows up and all the lovly stuff ) It wasn't easy for me as Norwegian, to plan this ... so I didn't even subscribe for the picking of the tickets. Does anyone know it 'll be recorded ? Did any real friendlies get tickets, it sounds like a right fiasco!! Well done to those that got tickets but I think it was only a handful of them!! My hubby didnt even get an email lol!! I wonder why RW team use Ticketmaster cos they cant organise a P*ss up in a brewery!!
Such great news about the album followed by sad news from Ticketmaster. Gutted I didn't get tickets to see you LIVE, Rob ... I've joined in every tour in the last 20 years but have never been lucky with special events like this. I really hope other true friendlies were luckier. xxx

Have just ordered my album can't wait ! Hoping for a lucky email later haven't been out for months due to a rough pregnancy so could really do with a night out. My daughter is now 27 days old and feeding every two hours so not getting much sleep but wouldn't change anything for the world something special about a nighttime early morning feed when the rest of the household are asleep. Hope you manage to fit everything in your trying to do before your little one arrives and can then take a break for those first few special months Jx
