Thanks For Tweeting Your Photos
Phew, what a week! Robbie took to the stage for three very special UK shows last week, stopping at venues he played on his first outing as a solo artist, The Show Off Must Go On tour, back in 1997. The intimacy of these venues lent the gigs an incredible atmosphere and, of course, the opportunity for plenty of photography. As well as playing in Leeds, Glasgow and Southend, Robbie also hopped over to Dublin to play the O2, honouring the promise he made to Irish fans back on the 2006 Close Encounters tour.
We asked all of you lucky enough to be at the shows to share your photos so that everyone could get in on the action, and you didn't disappoint! We've scoured Twitter for some of the best… feast your eyes on the galleries below. Thanks to everyone for sharing their photos!

For Mel Hall and Matthew....You were right behind me at Southend....and I was so glad that Rob saw the requests from all of us....you looked so amazed and grateful, and I am so glad I was there to share it with you. Sorry we didn't speak...I wish you all the very best for you and your family...keep being a fabulous mummy.....big love and hugs xxx
Awww Shar thank you....it means a lot that you replied and that you took the time to make me feel less anxious about my messages to Rob. Having replayed the video I think I misread the situation...there was no malice....and he did vocalise that he'd seen me...even if he didn't understand the connection. I don't know why it's so important to me that he not be cross with me....I'm sure if he read this he'd be scratching his head in confusion. He's a really lovely bloke that has twice taken the time to let me know he recognises me.....and his memory is astounding. I do tend to go gung ho and think later...but still...we are all just human I guess! I will remain in huge admiration of Rob and treasure those past moments..even if we never connect again...I'll always have some amazing memories!! :) <3
Mr Williams - you have created a bit of a story with your dedication to my Darling Matthew on Sunday at Southend (Angels) .......... Your in the press locally etc .... everyones tweeting and facebooking me saying that Matthew deserved someone like you to dedicate such a wonderful amazing song in his memory. Its a sad tragic story here but am fighting always for awareness & eventually the cure of Battens Disease. All I can say is - THANKYOU........ maybe one day we will "meet" again and talk about where Battens is and how far we are from that cure to save others like my little man...... I hope so. Much love to the 3 of you xxxxxxx Thankyou again - you made a broken Hearted Mummy Smile :)
Hi Rob, just been looking at all the snaps and vids from the shows gone. Fantastic eh .. Weren't these friendlies shows a brilliant idea .. I think there should be more ! : ) Maybe next time you come home to Dublin you could record your show to DVD. " Robbie Williams - Live in Dublin " sounds good to me ! X
Thanks for putting up the pictures for us to view that didn't manage to get to go see Robbie.. They are playing Candy lots on 4music and have also just congratulated you yet again on the birth of Teddy. Candy really grows on you well done top tune to start off the new Album.xxx
Dublin was amazing!...so nice to have an up close gig...no big stage productions etc.. just you and the mic...fantastic!...and thats what you do best Rob...you entertain us with your music and talking to the audience...you don't need a big production Rob...just you and the mic...really hope some day you'll come back to Stoke and play either the Britannia Stadium or PVFC ...now that would be amazing!...and we could get the "oatcake" van serving everyone cheesy oatcakes in the interval..ay up duck! :) x

Well Rob, really sad that my sister Tracey and I didn't get tickets to Southend. It looks like all the concerts were a blast. Wish we'd been there. I had a rollercoaster week all in all. On Monday 10/9 me, my sister and some friends waited for ages to see you outside Radio 2. Then you rushed in, we really thought we wouldn't see you. Have been a fan (friendly) for 20 years! The paps had us moved so they could get better pics of you, we were really cross with them. Then you came out with a smile and made our day chatting and signing for us. My sister gave you a bracelet that she made and you wore it for the rest of the day. Thanks for that. Then we rushed round to see you again at Radio 1. It was well worth it, you looked very fit! The next day I had to collect my son from school because he was ill and I had a car accident and wrote my car off. We had a very lucky escape but we suffered minor injuries and shock. Then at the end of the week I won tickets to the X Factor Live Finals. Wow what a week. Please, please if you can look on twitter at @FunkyFashionJwl, we have a website and facebook page. Our business is small but we would love to maybe make some men's jewellery for Farrell?? Please consider. Looking forward to your tour next year, hoping we can get tickets for that. xxxx :-))
Thank you to all of those who took pics & videos and shared them so that all of us who are not lucky enough to get that opportunity to see him perform live can at least share in the experience in some form. It looks like it was an amazing week all around. So thrilled for all the friendlies who were lucky enough to be there. xxx <3
i heard the new song from the album you sung at Southend and i really love it! if Take The Crown has all that kind of sound (like Candy also) i will love it all! well done, Rob, i think you did a great job again!
Tanyadeacon,I am not sure what you said or what Rob said but take it from me he will not bear a grudge but he will have his say, just leave him to get over it and next time you see him I am sure he will be cool, take it from s`one who knows from personal experience.I am quite honest and too outspoken some time esp for a Female?,however Rob and I do have a lot of the same character traits as RW and I have a a very similar history in many ways which is why I can understand and feel very in tune with him, as I have for quite a long time, maybe that was the subliminal attraction in the first place, who know?,it was not a deliberate thing on my part and is not a Fans fancy,so we clash now and again,he has a flash temper but he is kind and caring and knows the important things in life at the end of the day and very seldom bears malice , Imho anyway.Whoever does Robbie tickets all ways has a technical hitch because of the demand etc, that is why I did not get any false hopes up,that way you dont get upset. At least it was all done as fair as it could be and the best I believe its been done for a while, this and I did not go to any gigs. All the best, glad you are still a fan.Sorry I ramble like War and Peace if I am in a writing mood.I hope you are grateful for my Character Ref if you read this RW,ha ha.he thinks crazy female I suspect Tanyadeacon.x
I was another lucky lady to see you at the Cliffs on Sunday evening. You were immense as always, absolutely love seeing you in concert. I hope I am lucky enough to get tickets when you do your next stadium tour. Really love the new song and cannot wait for the album!!! Sx P.S when you are next looking for a PA give me a shout, lol xxx Good luck with the bubba xxxx
Hello Rob, Thanks for the wonderful picutres from your gigs. It's nice to see them and its a very good idea to put them in, because if other peoples and I unfortunately couldn't be there to your gigs!. I beg you so much that you come soon to Germany to make gigs!! In love Alexandra
You were so respectful singing Angels at Southend, god Bless Dear little Mathew and his Family.
Melhall 25 - I watched on youtube. I wondered and now I understand. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Head full of vertigo from my 30 hour trip home but I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Just wish security had kept their promise because it was disappointing to have people who arrived 10 hours later than us end up in a better position but those are the breaks. I always knew you would make the huge trip worthwhile Rob but meeting some of my poker buddies made it even more special. I am now hoping you will do a few gigs of your European world tour in the first two weeks of July next year because then I may just come again with some other aussie poker players to see you and meet more of my poker friends. Head is spinning so really need to sleep but just wanted to say THANK-YOU xxx
THANK YOU for making my personal setlist dream come true in Dublin! I would never ever expect to hear Karma Killer, Life thru a lens, Lazy Days, The Road to mandalay, Hot Fudge, ... live again after so many years. Loved your intimitate gigs back in the 90s and I wish that you will come for a club tour to Germany again instead of these unpersonal, huge stadium gigs like in the previous years. ;-) All the best for Ayda and the birth of your babygirl! <3
I wish i could have been there... But i live so far away ( sweden) and i have to go to school.. :( I hope you can come here so I can go and see you :)
HALLO ROBERT, ALLES KLAR? ;-) I'VE JUST COME FROM MY SHOPPING :-) , BOUGHT MORE THINGS THEN I HAD PLANNED..... BUT DID NOT SPENT MUCH! AND I'M HAPPY NOW! BOUGHT A PAIR OF SHOES, A LIPGLOSS, THE FIFTY SHADES TRILOGY BOOKS IN ENGLISH, TAKE THAT PROGRESS LIVE DVD WITH YOU <3, THEY DID NOT HAVE THE 3 EPISODE OF TRACY'S BODYSTYLING DVD :-( NEXT TIME , INSTEAD I TOOK A YOGA DVD, A GLAMOUR MAGAZINE, AND I BOUGHT ROMEO A TOY IN WHICH I'VE PUT SOME FOOD THAT HE LIKES IN, AND NOW HE'S TRYING TO GET IT OUT, AND I'M LAUGHING :-))))))),, IT'S SO FUNNY, HE'S JUST COME IN FROM MY LITTLE GARDEN AND PASSED WITH THIS TOY IN HIS MOUTH INTO MY BEDROOM :-).....THINK HE'S LAYING ON MY BED.....THEY DID NOT HAVE THE ENGLISH FLAG IN THE DOG SHOP :-( BEFORE I HAD TO WAIT HALF AN HOUR TILL THE SHOPS OPENED. IN THE MEANWHILE I SAT DOWN AND TALKED TO A POOR OLD BELGIAN MAN WITH SKIN PROBLEMS. IT HURTED ME SO MUCH TO SEE HIM LIKE THIS AND ASKED HIM IF HE WANTED SOME WATER. HE SAID NO, AND BEGAN TO TELL ME HIS LIFE STORY AND I LISTENED TO HIM. IT WAS INTERESTING CAUSE I CAN LEARN SO MUCH ALSO FROM THEM!!! I ASKED IF HE WAS HOMELESS AND HE SAID NO, BUT I DON'T KNOW IF THAT WAS TRUE, MAYBE HE FELT ASHAMED, BUT HE DIDN'T HAVE TO IF SO. WE SMILED A LOT AND MY HEART FILLED WITH JOY BY SEEING HIM SMILE:-)I WANTED TO GIVE HIM SOME MONEY, BUT HE STOOD UP, GREETED ME AND WENT AWAY. HE SAID " SEE YOU NEXT TIME" AND THAT HE IS OFTEN IN THIS PLACE IN THE MORNINGS, AND THAT HE WANTS TO SHOW ME CARNEVAL, CAUSE HE IS IN THE ASSOCIATION. SO FUNNY HE WAS :-) THEN AT A CERTAIN POINT HE CAME BACK AND SHOWED ME HIS PASSPORT AND I LOOKED AND HE SAID TO SEE ME AGAIN NEXT TIME. I SAID YES AND THAT IT WAS A PLEASURE. THEN I STARTED MY SHOPPING WITH A BETTER FEELING INSIDE ME!!! SO I'LL COOK SOME TAGLIATELLE WITH SAUCE BOLOGNESE NOW.....DELICIOUS! DO YOU WANT SOME ROBERTO? ;-) IT'S READY IN ABOUT 20 MINUTES.....ROMEO IS ALSO WAITING....BUT I CANNOT GIVE HIM SO MUCH AND NOT SO OFTEN OTHERWISE HE BECOMES OVERWEIGHT......! I MIX IT IN HIS DOG FOOD...... CIAO ROB TI VOGLIO TANTO BENE!!!!! LOVE TATY
Only a shot into the dark: The tickets were sold out, right? LOL ... btw: 14th and 16th September reminded me 2006 in Milton Keynes ... thru the pix they enjoyed it, so maybe next year in UK. ;p
Rob I owe you an apology...I had spent a lot of time on the friendlies site and so many were unhappy with the way the tickets were handled I ended up being spokesperson and voicing the disgruntled self. I came to Southend....I was twittered by Southend Theatres as the first in the queue...I camped overnight....and I brought my usual banner, the pyramid/ufo.....but I guess you had already read my posts cos I was well and truly dissed!! I guess you felt I deserved it! I thought you were amazing and I DID enjoy the show...but as you probably know it was tinged with upset cos I knew you knew....and you were offended! I can only say sorry......I am sad to have lost that connection re. the keith haring blog with you...but I guess I fucked it up all on my own.....keep being fabulous...you always rock my world...hopefully you forgive XX :(
