About the new ideas...just follow your heart and intuition. The stadium Robbie is fabulous, so if you don't dislike him, be him whenever you want. The crooner Robbie was super! But I don't think he' ll fit you anymore. Together with the boys, you look so relaxed and happy, so do it again if you like, everybody loves it. Going accoustic?.....big yes! Find yourself a band or mate( Gaz would be a Good choice artistically) and make it a theatertour, small venues( don't forget putting Holland on the list) Told you about THE dutch band Kane who did . Let them inspire you. Perform at small venues (not promoting the new songs ) like you did in THE Milkyway in Amsterdam, but make à setlist you really like and invite Some friends , or artists you really like to perform songs with . You don't need THE big stuff like dancers and special effects, you' ve got it all in yourself. Don't search too hard for something, search in yourself, follow your dreams....you already have it. Why change a winning name? Why change a winning team? Hope you had a great gig in Hamburg, felt healthy and enjoyed it.

I would keep it simple Rob! I really liked you with your black hair, tie... Like in "Live at the Albert"! You looked damn good there!! I think you don´t need a big show with a lot dancers etc... just YOU! that´s all we want :) a good song, maybe a few jokes, a smile and we are yours! But if you want to do somehting different... I´m sure we´ll all love it! How about another showcase like on Jools Holland? You dont have to do grand and big orchestra's and running, when it can be small and understated because its you who is shining so brightly yourself. People will always pick up on your soundbites and twist them but whenever you do a gig like the Roundhouse and it went out on BBC and in cinemas or the medley at The Brits - they all stop and say how amazing you are and how there is no one who can match you. You really are magic as a live performer - your energy and passion is unmatched, and you have a wicked sense of humour and sometimes that doesnt transmit if you are just going on to do a single song on x-factor or some show because you are boxed in. Why don't you write your own piece for a magazine like you are doing on the blogs rather than be interviewed? I guess there is no Parky anymore but you need to maybe do similar proper grown up and long interview or a Robbie documentary where people can see behind the news stories and can't just lift a sentence and twist it and not see the sarcasm or panto or intention of what you are saying. While they say all publicity is good publicity, I guess there comes a tipping point and the truth no longer matters and you're lost. You really don't need anything else, I think what you missed during RKTVS was that passion or confidence in yourself and songs. If you are miserable we can see it and unfortunately it detracts from the overall enjoyment and magic too, because to care so much about someone's music you want to see or feel that the performer cares about it too. It must be a huge strain to live in an age of 24 hour media and social networks with so little privacy and even the nature of promotion has probably changed. This blogging that you are doing is amazing. Even if you do stop, its great of you to have taken the time to do this. Hope you enjoy a well deserved break after this tour and thanks for making a new solo album. Rob... it may not be your next focus, but one day you have to help write, produce (and star in?!) your own musical, a bit like Brian May & Ben Eltons We Will Rock You but with the RW touch! I've never tripped over my laces but have stood on my own lace and fallen down the stairs - not my finest moment. RE the new image, i think reading your blogs you've come a long way on this tour i think its been a real journey for you. Just do what feels right in your gut, don't let the record company push you in the wrong direction. As for promo ideas the net is clearly the biggest thing these days. You clearly love blogging use that to spread the word and what about live internet shows to promo songs - little work big impact. Friends can then re-post on social network sites for added impact. Some artists have released their albums online for free then done small intimate gigs as further promo - think this is prob to low key for you but worth i think. As far as the shows/ tour go do what you do best. Big production, band, dancers ect. I agree with the other comments of if it ain't broke! The New Robbie..my thoughts. Hey Rob! I get what you say about reinventing yourself and I'm sure that whatever you decide you will get it right... but let me share with you the things I most love about Robbie the entertainer, and maybe you'll remember to keep these qualities in there... the turrets dancing ;), the confidence, the ability to laugh at yourself; the way you command whatever environment you're in but more than anything I love that no matter how successful you are, how in demand you may be, how influencial your presence inevitably is, you are and always have been a lad from Stoke. So, however, you reinvent yourself remember to always be that lad from Stoke :) Personally, I think you should take some time to be a lovely husband and practice, practice, practice until you're a daddy. You won't need to reinvent yourself,your child will do it for you. I'm a mom to a beautiful girl, who is now 14 years old.I've been a single parent for 12 years and trust me when I say, they change you, they change your life and they make you who you are. Its the most wonderful experience and it's time Rob! ;) p.s. thanks for responding re. the rap about the 00's .. I know you replied to Margherita but it was my blog she was commenting on. Ey Rob, just got back from my grandma (aged 85). I showed her the pictures and videos of the Amsterdam concert I took and she was blown away. It made me happy to watch her really enjoying the small pieces of the show! She's a big fan and I promissed her to write something on your blog. She really hopes you get better and soon and stay away from shellfish in the future ;). She was also wondering if you're gonna maken another bigband album like 'swing when you're winning (the song together with Nicole Kidman is her favourite song).. i think someone asked last night if it's true that you're going to be a mentor/judge's house on XFactor this year. You might not be allowed to answer that (?) but if it's true then 1) Yiiiipppeeeeeeee and 2) i know its not "promo" but its fantastic exposure and i think us friends have a lot to look forward to in the next few years!
