Rob you dont need to change ur appearance, Think the population is getting abit too superficial at them moment everybody is soo bothered about how they look and what other people think, One of the best things about you rob is youve always had that image of I am what I am image you jus sort of say like it or not im doing it for the fans and thats what we love! But look at the likes of lady gaga I mean the woman wears meat for clothes.. if she wasnt famous she'd be locked in a padded cell but people love her cos of her music and thats the key to it all. Youve always had really deep meaningful songs and your fans relate and admire you for them! Every mood I could possibly be in there is a song on your album that i can listen too and thats what makes you special you have so much variety. i think you need to be the guy who says fuck the sterio types im me like it or lump it. this world is a cruel place and people are judged by everthing they do as long as you love yourself and the people closest to you and they love you in return nothing else matters. And i love the theatre idea aswell you will just have to book about 2 weeks in each town so everybody can fit in haha I hope I will be there to see you more than once! Jeez, I got a *wink* Wasn't expecting a reply let alone a feckin ;). Thanks so much, you've probably no idea how much it means to me today of all days. I had some sad news yesterday RE my poor dad who is very ill and won't get better :'( (Alzheimers, he's only 60). I dunno if you've ever had the misfortune of knowing someone with this God awful disease, but until you've lived with it you've no idea how hard it is to deal with seeing someone you love deteriorate :'( Now I know getting a reply from your goodself isn't gonna make him better nor will it turn back the clock, but my God how thrilled was I when my mate Julie FBd me to let me know you had replied. My poor poor kids, while they're used to my easily excitable nature, even they were shocked by my reaction. Felt for A, as he was in the middle of downloading songs when I stole the laptop from him :| He's still awaiting patiently bless him. As I've said, Thanks doesn't cover it for me. New look? Cool, but please work harder on your videos. Dressed as a rabbit or astronaut, well... I love TT videos, they have an idea, very good presentation and it looks that it's been a hard work in making them but you're videos (I mean only those from new album), they look crap, come on, I saw them once and it was enough...sorry man but that's my opinion. I like you very much and I just want to see some cool videos from you. you're living on the edge, not tying your shoelaces! Crazy mo-fo! I've never trodden on my own shoe-lace (special, much?) but I have trodden on someone else's undone lace.. They weren't happy. AND I once had an horrendous accident on a bike when my shoe lace got caught in the spokes! All in all, it's best to keep em tied. Or wear slip-ons.. Good day sir x

Hi Rob good to see you back on form ( blog wise anyway ). Exciting news that you will be back solo with new material in the future !!! Big band stuff or accoustic would be good just do stray too far away from your identity , not easy I'm sure when trying to keep reinventing . Hope you have fun creating the new material . As long as they are songs from the heart I'm sure they will be great . Just one question what's it like living with all of your dogs , do they all get on with eachother ? Have you thought of doing any collaborations or more duets if so who would you like to work with ?

Hmmmm...something new? one word - a cappella. Wait, that's two... Think about it - just you and someone playing an instrument to accompany you. A smaller venue, smaller crowd (thousands or even hundreds), more personal, more private. From a business standpoint, you could charge out the ass and people would do whatever they had to to get those tickets.

There's nothing you're not capable of if you put your mind to it and your heart & soul in to it Rob...just believe in yourself as all your fans do!! Thanks for an amazing two nights at Wembley this month. You were perfect both nights. You held my hand too - I've waited a long time to get that close to you! When you came over us during 'Come Undone' I was scared for you - all those girls pulling you down must be terrifying?! I held back for that reason. Can't wait for you to be back solo. Rob, Some ideas for promo, what do you think? - 1. One bus on the road turning up at different locations, different cities, bring your band? 2. Perhaps do a surprise gig on a roof top somewhere in the middle of London, cause a bit of mayhem, shoot a video .. make it all impromtu, announce that you could turn up anywhere ! It would be so exciting !! That sort of thing was last done by U2 and it hasn't been done since, but you could do it your way ! Management may have their qualms, I say go for it ! Why not right ?! 3. Why not do a show in 3D ? That might be interesting ?! 4. Also couple this with a recorded live unlugged show to showcase your new record. Let people hear the lyrics, your voice & a documentary - Combine the two! Everyone loves a good documentary. Or indeed a Live In Your Living Room ?! 5. Release your new book to coincide with your comeback. Hopefully it will be ready to go to print. 6. Make a date with Jools Holland to appear on his show rather than X-Factor. It's always been a good show and its still very popular with folk. It's real artists, real music .. its your kinda place ! Also pick up your guitar again ! 7. How about doing the festival circuit again ? It's been years ! It's not a long-term commitment like a tour ? Leeds, Reading, T in The Park, Oxegen, Electric Picnic, Benicassim and some of the other ones in Europe ? I know you would go down a storm ! and you don't have to go to Glastonbury if ya don't want ! but I think people would love to see you next summer at the Festivals. 8. What about going to Ibiza to do a gig or Brighton on the beach next summer ? - its a twist on touring and playing the usual venues but probably much more fun. You could team up with Fat Boy Slim .. I think that would be wicked. It's something new eh ? 9. Also how about a gig showcasing your new material to accompany your shop opening ? 10. I think you should go for a new look & personal style ! How about going blonde again !! That was a sexy look, paired with some glasses & a cool leather jacket. Like late 90's RW but with a more modern touch, its a bold move ! Peeps saying stay as you are. I think you should always be a chameleon. Change your image. You've always been daring why stop now ! 11. One more idea you may consider ? How about your own TV music show in the UK with guest singers & band's that you could duet with as well as performing your own material? That sort of thing hasn't been done for decades in the Uk and I'm sure you'd have fabulous ratings :) 12. Also, if you wanted to do some other TV, how about a Louis Theroux type documentary series in which you would give viewers the chance to get a brief glimpse in the worlds of individuals, groups, and topics that they would not normally come into contact with or see up close? You have good television presenting skills - maybe something to consider as a side project from the music Do you like any of these suggestions ? : ) X
