"What did you do to me on Sunday night...?"
HOLY SHIT!
I CAN HONESTLY SAY EVERY SHOW WE'VE DONE SO FAR
HAS BEEN REALLY SPECIAL.....
FROM THE LOVE WE RECEIVED FROM THE GENTLE FOLK
IN THE NORTH EAST.... WHERE WE LEARNT TO BE A BAND AGAIN
....TO THE GRIT AND PERSEVERANCE
OF THE MANCHESTER CROWD THAT GOT PEE'D ON MOST NIGHTS.....
I'D KINDA FOUND MY PERFORMING FEET IN MANNY'
MOST NIGHTS WATCHING YOU ALL BOUNCE UP AND DOWN
IN LET ME ENTERTAIN YOU WAS A RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE
AND THEN THERE WAS THE WELSH CROWD THAT OUT SUNG THEM ALL.....
WE WON'T FIND OURSELVES IN A BETTER VENUE ON THIS TOUR.....
SO HUGE BUT SO INTIMATE AND I/WE FELT THE LOVE
BUT OH MY LORD....IRELAND !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME ON SUNDAY NIGHT.....?
I GAVE EVERYTHING I HAD ON SATURDAY AND AS EXPECTED
YOUR PERFORMANCE WAS BETTER THAN MINE.....(ONLY JUST ; )
SO MUCH SO THAT IT WAS WITH A BIT OF TREPIDATION
THAT I MADE MY WAY BACK TO CROKE PARK THE NEXT DAY
FEELING A LITTLE JADED AND DRAINED FROM THE NIGHT BEFORE....
(SUCH HIGH HIGHS THERE HAS TO BE A COME DOWN....)
BUT I WASN'T EXPECTING WHAT CAME NEXT.....
I PROPER LOST MY SHIT......
THE OVERWHELMING GOOD WILL...LOVE...SMILES
HAPPINESS,APPROVAL AND ACCEPTANCE
BEAMING STRAIGHT TO THE STAGE
TRANSFORMED ME FROM PREENING PEACOCK
PRIMA DONNA SHOWMAN
TO A BALL OF MUSH WITHIN SECONDS.....
IT WAS SO POWERFUL THAT I DIDN'T
KNOW IF I WAS GOING TO BE ABLE TO COLLECT
MYSELF ....
PROPER FLOORED ..THERE'S A TEAR IN MY EYE THINKING
ABOUT IT NOW....
YES, THE GIGS HAVE RANGED FROM BRILLIANT TO RELIGIOUS
EVERY NIGHT .........BUT SUNDAY NIGHT CROKE PARK
WAS LIFE DEFINING .......IT WILL STAY WITH ME FOR AS LONG AS I LIVE....
IRELAND I BOW TO YOU....
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN XXXXXXXXXXXXX

i live in ireland myself and this really made me proud :) wish i hadve been there, love you rob <3
Sorry, I know this is long ago now, but just getting a rare chance to read thru the site properly after recently joining. I missed the previous TT and RW concerts in NI and Ireland in recent years due to ill health and begged my hubby to get me tickets for the 4;1;5 show and I have to say that Sunday in croke park was well worth the wait, it was all my xmasses rolled into one even though I didn't have the best views....it truly was the best of everything, thank-you! Ps so glad the 5 of u sorted things out, I've learned from experience that life is took short, know ur true friends and always do right by them. Xoxox
Couldn't have said it better myself, here here!!
Yeah it was an amazing amazing show. I travelled from northern ireland. Best concert I've been to the atmosephere was electric....you certainly know how to entertain xoxoxo
You might ask yourself now "Why haven't I felt this before? Will I ever feel it again? So Intensive so deep... And if you want to know the answer have to look for within. It could be part of your life day by day. The evidence is there you can love like that. Work on yourself start to do metta bhavana:) How wonderful our world be if everyone could love like that. (Emwave PSR might help) X
Bring it on! We love you:) X
Dear Rob, following your blogs, reading all those comments about your feelings and experience of your show and all those comments of the fans out there i am getting crazy stoked up here in canarian ireland...can't wait seeing you at the end of july in germany. Until then the nightmare of empty stadiums and 5 exhausted lads on stage will fill my nights and leave panicked awake... I just pray that you won' t lose your carisma and your spirit at the end of the tour, so that we fans in germany have the chance too, to experience one of the religious, magical and unforgetable nights of our lifes!!!! So keep on enjoying the tour Lovin and admirin you as long He lets me xxx
Rob you rocked on Sun 19th.I'm still hyped and converted my girlfriend to a Robbie Williams Fan.I had been waiting months for this concert and by god was it worth the wait. Please don't leave it too long for your next solo concert in Dublin or where ever in Ireland. I was at the front and seeing you up so close made it one of the best nights of my life. Such an amazing concert and one that I will cheriesh forever. Once again Rob.Thank you and to the rest of the guys. The legend of TT lives on. P.S: What was it you said to Mark after the glass of milk was brought out to ye while the rest of the guys had red wine.Nothing better than a glass of ice cold Irish milk.

What a conceet Croke Park Sun 19th, from the start there was a great atmosphere. Take That came out to a great reception, Robbie came out , the place went mad. You were brilliant Rob, what a concert, if you blinked , you missed something , it was non stop, from start to finish. Robbie had us all in tears, it was like nothing I have ever been at before, took me a long time to come back to solid ground after. Thank you Rob for a brilliant concert. Look forward to seeing you in the future, still hoping for the free concert, still have the tickets, we live in hope. Oh what a night....

Robbie, Robbie, Robbie, where do I begin? It was a long time coming, that feeling of seeing you live in concert again. The last time was in Croke Park too, and I thought it couldn’t be beaten. Before that it was Phoenix Park, and before that it was Landsdowne Road, all in Dublin, and on those occasions I also thought you couldn’t beat it, but hey, I was wrong, and you did. The anticipation had been brewing for some time, from way back when you promised you’d come back and give us (or me!!) a free concert. I kept that ticket for ages in the hope that maybe, just maybe, you would. But it didn’t happen. So when I saw that you were coming back with Take That, I just had to battle the internet demons to secure a ticket. It took some time, with the internet just unable to cope with the sheer demand of getting a ticket for the Progress Tour 2011. But secure a ticket I did. And wow was I glad. I was like a jittering schoolchild with a mad crush… And so when 19th June 2011 dawned, I set off from a troubled Belfast, with riots starting… again… and made my way to Dublin with my sister. A girlie day out. A day to leave the harsh realities of daily life behind, and to become part of an incredible experience. Husbands at home with the kids, just this one time. We parked the car and became part of the palpable atmosphere which surrounded Croke Park in the north side of Dublin. The whole place was bristling with anticipation for what was to come. For me that was Robbie, yes a bonus that we’d also get to see Take That, which I never had before, but it was really all about Robbie. And we were not to be disappointed. I cannot explain just exactly how I felt when you emerged onto the stage, following on from a 4 piece Take That. When you started with your concert classic, through Angels and Feel, I have to say I could hardly contain myself, and yes, I almost pee’d my pants. Oops, but what a feeling! Not the pee, but you Robbie, you were amazing, you have not lost it, but have matured with age in such a fantastic way. All of us 40-something mums who let our hair down on 19th June 2011 in Croke Park were with you in body, mind and soul that night. I hope you felt it like we did. I danced like I haven’t danced for years, usually I’m too old for all that, with an aching back and tiredness from working and being a mum. But whatever you have you gave to me to make me feel young again. My aching back wasn’t noticed while you were on stage, I danced, I swayed and I sang with you. I just wanted to take some time out to thank you for that. I will be there in the front row when you come back to Ireland for that free concert you promised us once more. I will keep my ticket in case I need it to attend, and I will hope that it happens and I am healthy enough to be there and become a child again for one more day. Value that magic that you have, embrace it and continue to give it out, ‘cos you made so many of us deliriously happy that night in June, and I for one will never forget it. You said yourself it was a life defining time for you, as it was for every one of us. Maybe, just maybe you’ll reply to me and reassure us all in Ireland that you will be back. And I for one will be waiting. Thank you Robbie, thank you so much. Love Jane B from Belfast xx
I was blessed to attend both shows at Croke and they were amazing! I have yet to stop raving about them. I was standing front row at runway on Sat night which was amazing. Adore TT & then on came Mr Williams and blew me away. 5 piece together I did shed a tear as it was great to see. Then I touched Robbie and my night was made even more special! Sunday night was in Hogan stand as I took my niece aged 10 and nephew aged 13 to see them. Have two more converted fans who thought it was amazing. Was a privledge to attend both shows and I had a ball. Couldn't speak properly for days and was aching all over but it was well worth it! Until the next time!

I brought my husband with me who is Canadian and is more familiar with your solo stuff. But he came away really glad he went and enjoyed the whole night from start to finish. Sunday night was just amazing for us to be part of it brought a tear to my eye seeing how happy everyone was and the atmosphere was just such an amazing feeling. Wish we could see it all over again... it will be a night that we will remember as being the best concert we have watched, your solo section was just faultless and amazing, you are so loved and accepted, always have been and always will be. I was in Croke Park on Sat night and it was the best experience of my life so far. For me it was life defining!!! I've never seen Take That before but I saw you in Phoenix Park in 2003 which was just an amazing concert. I have to say I got very emotional on Sat night when you came out to do your set and I shed a couple of tears when the 5 of you were re-united on stage for The Flood. I didn't think it would have such an effect on me and it was totally unexpected. I really did not want the night to end. I wish you all the best for the rest of tour. Please do not leave it so long to come back to us. Love you lots - God bless xxxxx
Hi Robbie, My Hubby brought me to The concert as a wedding present, we got married in May... he loved the show.. You rocked Croke Park on June 19th... its was great to have you back in Ireland with the lads... saw you in Croke Park 2006...as much as you give out about that show.. it was still great.. you are a born entertainer and no one can ever TAKE THAT away from you ... you did Ireland Proud on Sunday night.. what a show... it was amazing....i just wished i had a pitch ticket and not a stand one :) You got emotional .. as did most of Croke Park... great to see you back where u belong... how could people not smile and welcome you back to our country ... you rock.. your brill.. and most of all.. your down to earth and say it like it is.... Enjoy the rest of the tour...if i win the lotto we will make another concert in Europe Hugs Mrs Dunphy xx
Rob, I've done 5 shows already, (5 more to go)2 of which where on the front row, however i have to admit that Sunday night in Dublin (from a half way back lower tier view) totally Blew me away. You and the boys were electric. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. It just goes to show you don't have to be Front row to have a brilliant time. See you in Wembley and The Dam! (oh, please go along the front row of the A Stage for Eight Letters, thats where the majority of your fans are for your solo bit!) xx
I was glad I brought my opera glasses when I saw you coming out and waving to the screeming Dublin crowds from behind the stage on Sunday. Your performance was truly incredible. From then on my eyes(also) nearly burst into tears (as just) feeling true emotions. What a great Theatre it was... What did you do to me...? I just know those eyes did not lie ;)
Hi Robbie I was there... I fell enroute to croke park wearing shoes too high so as to see better in the crowd and a wrecked the ligaments and fractured a bone in my foot, but I still saw the show!! Robbie & Take That you are fantastic, I have waited my whole life for the experience I had on Sunday night - you didn't disappoint, it was truely AMAZING! My hubby is converted, he said he hasn't saw a stage show like it since Frankie Goes to Hollywood :) Can't wait to see you all again, don't leave it so long next time. Enjoy the rest of the tour - I wish I could go to all of them!! Love & best wishes Julie x

Croke Park 18.06 - The First of many! Saturday night was my first time to see you live despite falling in love with you and your music many moons ago! What an unforgettable experience! Would have loved to have gone again Sunday night! Don't be a stranger, come back and see us again soon, we will all be here waiting and rooting for you, Take care and God bless xx When the sun is refusing to shine on your day, and you're finding it hard just to cope, When you're seeing more rain clouds than stars in the sky, and you just feel like giving up hope, that's the time when someone comes along with a smile and a warm hug that says, "it's ok - Tomorrow is coming, so don'y give up now - brighter moments are on their way!" xxxxxxx
Rob I've still got goose bumps from Sunday, if it was possible to bottle d feeling from that night d world wud b a much better place. I have been living for this concert and not only did u not disappoint u totally surpassed my expectation's. You should b so proud of yourself it must b such a tough job I was wrecked watching u!! But I just wanted to say thank you it was night to remember forever.
My husband was with me - JUNE 09 2006 - He, like you battled his demons throughout his life.... but he also took a lot of solace from some of your songs... and shared great empathy with the lyrics. Unfortunately he is no longer with us [demons won in the end] but I know while you were singing 'Angels' he was looking down on us and smiling .... he once told me every alcoholic lives with an angel ... and to him that song represented me ... and before me, his mum. I was there on Sunday night, you cried, I cried, we cried!! I have never missed a gig... hurry back, we love u more, than you love us!! I can honestly say out of all the gigs...Slane, Phoenix, previous '06 Croker... Sunday Night was the most religious experience of them all :o) Don't leave it too long to come back. Be Happy, Be Healthy, Be Safe, Be Sober x0x0x0x Deb

Hey Robbie! I was in croke park sunday night & i have to say you floored us !! It was the best night out myself & husband ever had, so thanks to you & the boys for a magnificent show. come back to croker soon!!! Gayle
Dear Robbie, Mr. Entertainment himself, I read an article in 'The Metro' reporting that you'd encountered God recently. Having followed your career, I like a lot of what you've done. A good many of your lyrics suggest someone searching for meaning, purpose and intimacy in life, which for all of us is a journey where we are confronted by joy, loss, ecstasy, trials and temptations. Having lived the life you've lived, it's a minor miracle that you're in one piece. You've 2.4m facebook 'friends', 0.3m Twitter followers, a stash of cash and fans eating out of your hand. One of my mates, he's a minister by the way, laughed when I said I reckoned that one day you'd become a Christian. That would be a challenge you'd never regret facing. Hope married life is good and that you're not headed for a midlife crisis. If you're ever passing and fancy a pint, drop me a tweet @RobPS. You're a good fella, may God bless your every future move. Cheers
and,....can we expect a new blog tonight???
Hi Rob, Im Mandy..I know exactly what you re sayin, cos us girls came all over from Malta to see u at Croke on Sunday at Croke..I managed to get a saucy look from ya..when u read my poster (somethin to do with wet) wish I captured the moment..if your cameras did, please let me have it ..I really regretted not touchin yr hand at the end of the show cos you went to the right hand side :( ...so at least this could be a consolation (my email is mnd108@onvol.net) love ya xx
I know I'm probably biased but have to say on looking back at the footage of the Croke Park show's on Youtube .. aren't us Irish quite a tuneful bunch ... :o)
rob just to say that on sunday night was amazing . my and my hasband were there and we thought that you rocked . we had tears in our eye when you song angals and what you said before it .i still have no voice as i was singing start to finshed .xx
Rob, did you catch any yellow ticker-tape Sunday night at Croke Park :o) ? xx
I was at the Croke Park gig on Sunday night, you were AWESOME! It was an amazing performance. TT were fab, but your solo set was peerless. I've never seen anything like it before. I'm not quite sure what happened out there, but it was powerful stuff, you even had me in tears. The Irish crowd LOVED you and it soon became clear the affection and respect was mutual. Thanks for a great night, can't wait to do it all over again in Wembley on 1st July!!
Robbie, I was there sat night in Croke Park, you were BRILLIANT! x
