Millennium Video Shoot
The Bond-inspired music video for Millennium, the first single from I've Been Expecting You, was partly shot at Pinewood Studios: the home of the legendary 007 films. It proved to be a turning point for Robbie in his videos and captured more of his cheeky, playful nature on-screen.
"I remember being in that field," Robbie says in his book, You Know Me, "and I felt terribly self-conscious about my first bit of acting... [but] the not-take-yourself-seriously train was leaving the station, and I jumped on it".
"I'm in a position where I can live out my fantasies [being James Bond], and also people can laugh with me, and at me, while I'm doing it!"
Millennium became Robbie's first UK No.1 in September 1998 and spent two months in the UK Top 40.
