knebworth - 3rd August 2003
wOw!! I was there somewhere - This was a Fantastic gig! One of the hottest days of summer 03...Got there early and joined the que of thousands waiting for the gates to open. Rob arrived in his helicopter and all hell broke loose lol. Once in, there was a long walk to the field where the gig was and WOW!! when we saw the stage - It was amazing!! Couldnt wait for it too start...but had about 7hrs till Rob came on! Found our spot and guarded it with our lives - and sat in the blazing sun waiting!!!! Knebworth was rammed full of Rob fans, you couldnt leave ur spot, as u would never got back to it - so the loo was totally out the question lol. The support acts did there sets - moby and kelly osbourne!?! Then it was time...Robbie on stage - I lost my voice from my shouting & singing, but it was totally worth it. Amazing gig - great set and full of Rob banter - just what we like :) To top it all....Mark Owen came on stage and sang with Rob - very emotional, and glad i was there to see it. Leaving Knebworth was a nightmare! 125,000 people all buzzing from the gig and walking the streets of knebworth trying to get home! My feet were killing, no voice and freezing cold - but didnt care...I had just been to one of the greatest gigs ever!!! Dont think Rob can ever top that one! my only regret was... I wasnt in the golden circle :(
