New football team in Manchester

This picture was taken shortly after we set up Football Club United of Manchester - after Glazier took over United. We were not happy with the idea of United playing in Blue and having our united shares taken away from us, not being able to afford a season ticket and losing our voting rights. So after a meeting at the Apollo in Manchester - 3000 of us hard-core United fans, had a vision to create a new team in Manchester to one day play in the Premier League and take the title. We have been playing for 3 years now and each year we are moving up our leagues. We have some brilliant players, A fantastic manager and absolutely loyal terrific fans. And it means that we are able to take our kids to watch a football match on a Saturday in Manchester and believe in something again. We set up our Club so that however much money you have invested you only get one share. We have 6 years to go until we are in the Premier League - so watch out United, the boys are coming. This is a picture of me in Manchester, wearing my FCUM t-shirt, feeling proud to be a northerner and from Lancashire and be part of the dream.
