In And Out Of Consciousness (Deluxe Edition)
In And Out Of Consciousness: The Greatest Hits 1990-2010 is the definitive collection of Robbie hits celebrating his impressive career to date and is released on 11th October 2010.
The Deluxe Edition of the album includes 57 of Robbie's biggest and best songs on three discs.
In addition to the Standard Edition, the third CD sees all of Robbie's rare B-sides together on one disc for the first time. This collection includes the theme song Nobody Someday from the documentary of the same name, My Culture, Robbie's collaboration with One Giant Leap, and his cover version of The Kinks' Lola, which was produced by Guy Chambers for BBC Radio 1.
This album also features one of the most anticipated tracks of 2010, if not the last 15 years; Shame is not only co-written with Gary Barlow, but is also performed with Robbie's former bandmate. The duet between the two superstars is set for release on 4th October later this year and working on this track is the first time the two have written and recorded together since Robbie left Take That back in 1995!
Speaking about this forthcoming album and working with Gary Barlow again, Robbie said: “It’s incredible to listen to the album and realise that it’s already been 20 years of making music and playing gigs. And the great thing about the album is that it’s not only a celebration of my past but also a bridge to the future. The fact that part of the future includes a name from my past makes it all the more poignant for me”.
